“Buck is a very shy dog and definitely has a hard time when people come into our place. That all changed when Henny came to meet Buck! He has a completely different attitude to Henny than any other dog walker I’ve used. She’s on time, very nice and responsive and sends a great video after each walk! I highly recommend Henny!”

“Nour was so great with my dog who is blind and requires special care and attention! Nour was communicative and followed my instructions very closely and made sure to update me about how the walk went . She is clearly very good with animals and very professional with clients!”

“Vivian is a great dog lover, she always gives my pup a good walk. She is punctual, flexible and attentive. I highly recommend Vivian and will definitely love to have her take care of my doggie again!”

“We were so lucky to find Brenna. Our little guy is very old, blind and anxious. Which can make taking care of him quite complicated. We were nervous to introduce someone into Raiden's circle but Brenna was so patient and attentive with him. Had amazing communication and professionalism that made us feel at ease. It's obvious she treats the pets in her care like they're her own. Can't recommend her enough and looking forward to working with her again in the future!”

About: I have a strong connection to dogs. I have helped train dogs to deal with their anxiety using communication through body language. I do this by learning about their personalities and creating a bond of friendship and help teaching them how to properly communicate their needs. For the last year I helped a good friend of mine start a dog sitting business from her home so I have been around a lot of dogs and learned to maneuver many different situations and how to handle multiple dogs at once. I have a very flexible work schedule and can walk dogs at any time of the day or dog sit while you are at work or on vacation, I give them all of the attention that they need and can take up to 3 walks with them a day. I take as many pictures or videos of the day for the owner as wanted. I focus on keeping their needs met to maintain their routine. I help create a safe relaxed and comfortable environment so that they are happy and can have minimal separation anxiety from their owner. Love and affection for all dogs while maintaining their needed space and boundaries.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, growing up with dogs and caring for cats, birds, turtles, fish, and bunnies. I currently have a 4-year-old dog named Kiwi, whom I’ve raised since she was just 3 weeks old. My experience includes caring for friends’ pets, going on countless walks, playing, and spending quality cuddle time. I’m confident in handling dogs of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies to gentle seniors. I genuinely love the companionship pets offer and treat every animal like family with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love. I currently work part-time and am available for pet care from Monday to Wednesday. I offer both drop-in visits and dog walking during those days. The only time I’m unavailable is on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 3:30 PM due to a weekly appointment. Outside of that window, I’m flexible and happy to work around your schedule to ensure your pets get the care and attention they need. I provide pet care in your home to ensure your pet stays comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow all routines, feeding schedules, and care instructions closely. Whether it’s administering medication, going on walks, or giving extra playtime and affection, I prioritize your pet’s well-being and happiness. I also treat your home with the utmost respect, leaving it as clean and tidy as I found it.

About: Hi! I live with three cats of my own and have years of hands-on experience caring for all kinds of feline personalities—from shy seniors to playful kittens. I've been house sitting for friends and family since I was a kid, and I also volunteer with a local cat rescue, so I’m no stranger to special diets, medications, or quirky behaviors. I work freelance, so my schedule is both flexible and reliable. That means I can give your pet the attention they need, when they need it. I’ll work with you to plan visits around their routine and make sure they feel cared for and comfortable while you’re away. I’ve worked with all kinds of animals and personalities, so I know every pet has their own way of doing things. I take the time to build trust, stick to their routine, and make sure their environment is secure and comfortable. I keep an eye on their health, follow any specific needs, and stay prepared in case anything unexpected comes up.

My goal is for them to feel completely at ease until you return!

“Liz is great - prompt and professional! She was really patient while our dog warmed up to her. Scout loved her first walk and we will definitely be booking more.”

About: I've had pets my whole life, growing up in Michigan with everything from dogs to raccoons and deer. Dogs have always been a big part of my family, and I know the joy they can bring to anyone's life. My two senior Miniature Pinschers, Bill and Luci, taught me invaluable lessons in patience and helping pets feel comfortable in new environments and on walks. While they're no longer with me, the wisdom they imparted continues to guide my approach to dog care. I'm no longer new to Rover! I've gained extensive experience walking for a dog walking company near downtown, so I'm very familiar with a variety of local dog parks and routes. I love dogs of all sizes, shapes, and ages. Here's a quick list of activities I offer for your pup: Dog Walking, Daily Visits/Stop-Ins, Potty Breaks, Dog Park Trips. Let's go for a walk! I’m currently seeking my next career and starting a small business, so I have lots of free time to walk the neighborhood and get exercise. My two cats have a free rein of my apartment including a catio that allows them to be outside on the fire escape, without running free. I have attempted to introduce them to dogs, but unfortunately, I think they are best at being friends with each other, and not introducing new animals into the mix. For this reason, I am willing to do in-home visits, but not overnight stay at my house.

About: Frequent animal shelter volunteer and cat lover ready to pamper your furry friend on weekends! I live locally and am very flexible with hours. I'm available early mornings and late nights on weekends, rain or shine. I'm an active and attentive caregiver, ready to play, cuddle, and ensure your cat feels comfortable and loved. I have years of experience volunteering at animal shelters and a deep affection for all things feline. I currently have 2 cats myself and have had 6 throughout my life. Please let me know your cat's temperament and any special needs they may have. I’m currently working part time when I am in grad school, so I have open availability! I am flexible and ready to take care of your kitties. Loving and experienced pet sitter. Provide personalized, attentive care in both my home and yours. Ensure comfort, routine, and play for your furry cat friends.

About: Hi! My name is Bryn; I'm a teacher and grad student picking up some extra work as a pet sitter. I have experience with cats and dogs, including seniors. I had my own senior cat until a few months ago (RIP), and I'm more than happy to get some time with animals in. I'm located in South Slope. I have very flexible availability through the end of August, as I'm a teacher and not working over the summer. Beginning in Fall, I'll be available on weekends and potentially early mornings and evenings during the week. I'm happy to follow your routines and expectations and adapt to your environment! I prefer to schedule a meet and greet ahead of time so I can get everything down.
