“Alyssa is absolutely fantastic. She was so patient and sweet with our Pomeranian, who is very difficult and anxious with new people. Alyssa is also incredibly communicative and very thoughtful. I can’t recommend her enough”

“Alexis and Melisa were very nice. They came for a meet and greet first and were very flexible. On the day of the drop in, Alexis arrived early, sent several pictures and asked a couple of questions. The most important thing was for one of the dogs to eat and that happened with no problem. There was one small problem with locking my back door but I’m certain that wouldn’t happen again. All in all they are a nice couple with an adorable baby and took care of my dogs as promised.”

About: Hi there! You can call me Joy :) when I care for your pet I will send you updates with pictures and can communicate every good, not so good, and/or boring detail with you! I do not hesitate to ask for clarification on anything when it comes to the needs of you and your pet. I am also happy to help you with any other house chores while you are away (collecting mail, watering plants, etc). I find it important to set up a meet and greet with you and your pet if possible. When I care for your pet I understand that I am in the space they call home. Building trust with you and your pet is an important first step for me to provide the best services for your needs. In 2018 I adopted a dog of my own and she is my world! I adopted my dog through Best Friends Animal Shelter and she came with little to no background information. She was fearful and showed signs of a traumatized past. I had to train a puppy during the “T-Rex” phase (RIP many articles of clothing and furniture legs” and learned that several rounds of fetch will only slow a working dog for about 20 min before they’re ready to go again. The biggest skill I learned when adopting my dog was handling her reactivity. She was the sweetest girl at home, mostly shy in the beginning and hesitant to come out of her shell. So it was a huge shock when taking her out on her first few walks to see her lunge and pull with all her might towards everything and everyone that passed by. Her size and breed made it especially stressful and embarrassing and there were many days where I felt like I couldn’t handle it. With a lot of patience and treats and maybe also some crying Kona came out of her first year at home a thriving happy girl! Bringing her home was one of the most challenging experiences of my life but watching her grow and blossom into the silly, loving pup she is has been the greatest reward. I have a set schedule at my part time job and can establish morning/afternoon/night schedules around it. I am also in the process of applying for grad school and would love to prioritize pet care as my main job if possible, I am eager to build a clientele! As the owner of a reactive dog I am comfortable reading behavioral cues that may indicate if your pet is in need of extra support, attention, or space.
“It was lovely to meet Janelle. She was right on time for our meet and greet, stayed long enough to get all important information, asked good questions and was gentle and kind with my senior dog. I am sorry we were not able to work together this time but I do think Janelle would be a good sitter for someone else.”

About: Dogs have been loved and cared for in my family since I can remember. When I was a young girl, I had a Labrador Retriever that gave birth to ten puppies. It really strengthened and solidified my love for dogs. Currently, we have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Cookie. She's full of love, personality and independence. We adopted her in March of 2019 and we are so lucky to have her as part of our family. She's one of the best dogs that's been a part of our family. I'm a mom of four young men, have had dogs all my life and have a lot of love to share. I look forward to spending time with your dog and taking he or she for walks with some social stimulation and being one with nature. I love dogs so much!! Whenever I can be with doggies who love to walk, have fun and be loved, life indeed has true balance. We walk our dog, Cookie, at least twice a day, either around the neighborhood, at the park or on a hike. Always make sure she has fresh water, delicious food and lots of love.

Lexy is a great cat sitter. This is the second time we have had her take care of our cat. She’s very prompt and communicative. Additionally, our cat is older and needs daily medication which she took care of no problem. We will definitely hire again and highly recommend!

Aliyah is simply wonderful. We had her do a couple drop in visits on our very anxious dog. She was very punctual and sent a lot of cute pictures of my dog having a really good time. And he just doesn’t like that with everybody…so it says something about this wonderful sitter. when we got home, the dog was in a great mood. We would 1000% use her again. Thanks, Aliyah!

Leo was absolutely incredible!! He helped me out with my little puppy. He took really good care of her, and she really took to him. I found him to be very trust worthy and honestly very rebookable. He’s very affordable for those who need help with their furry pal. He really exceded my expectations and very flexible.

Skyler was a lifesaver...we made arrangements for a sitter before our travels but they fell through. We contacted Skyler and she was more than willing in to help out. She took excellent care of our two fur babies (cats), they fell in love with her. We will most definitely be booking with Skyler again, soon.

It was lovely to meet Janelle. She was right on time for our meet and greet, stayed long enough to get all important information, asked good questions and was gentle and kind with my senior dog. I am sorry we were not able to work together this time but I do think Janelle would be a good sitter for someone else.

Maryan, is the first sitter we’ve tried out on Rover and we are so glad we chose her to watch our 5 month old Aussiedoodle puppy! As first time pup parents we were a bit hesitant to leave our puppy with anyone other than friends or relatives, but Maryan did such an amazing job at making us feel at ease. She was extremely professional during our meet and greet with her, asked us several questions about our puppy’s needs, personality and made sure to confirm any special requests we had about his visit ahead of time. Since this was our first time using a sitter we weren’t exactly sure what to expect but she went above and beyond in making sure to communicate with us promptly, following the detailed list of instructions we left her, and even leaving us a thoughtful handwritten note and Polaroid of our puppy to come home to. Thank you again, Maryan, for taking care of our baby!
