“Astrid was a lifesaver! The dog sitter for my active Aussie Shepard/pitbull mix had a medical emergency and she agreed to watch my Lola on a week’s notice. Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. About: I had a dog for 15 years and a cat for 2 years, giving me experience with pets at all stages of life. They are very special and I have a deep passion for caretaking, one that extends to your pets! I can also administer medications if needed. I am a student at UCSF on summer break. I have availability most days—weekdays and weekends, just need a few days notice! I am also a night owl so I can watch your pets well into the evenings! I have a fenced backyard and live in a dog-friendly neighborhood. I love going on long walks around here solo, and a pet companion would make that even better! For cats, I can also take them on walks (if they’re those types of cats haha) or can just stay inside and play with toys.
