About: I have been rescuing dogs for almost 2 decades. Needless to say, I love dogs. I currently have a great Pyrenees and she would love Company. I work 100% remote from home., my yard has a 6 foot privacy fence am I Home is very dog friendly. I am also experienced in taking care of diabetic dogs, including testing and injections twice a day, monitoring food and making sure that all the dogs under my hair get daily walks, and lots of love. I work 100% remote. My day doesn’t start until nine, which allows me to spend time in the morning either playing with the dogs going for walks. I live in a very dog friendly neighborhood around those days that the weather doesn’t permit us to go out I have what we call beauty time.. I walk my dog every evening for at least 30 minutes and if the day is nice, we try to get some time in during lunch as well My house and backyard are very pet friendly. I am not someone who gets upset if there’s an accident after all they’re pets, stuff’s gonna happen. I have a 6 foot privacy fence in my backyard. My dog prefers to sleep outside, but for the dogs that I’m sitting I prefer they be inside with me.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life since my parents always had dogs while I was growing up. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my daily routine. I recently moved to Michigan for a remote job, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention, exercise, playtime, and care they deserve. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. I’m also happy to care for both dogs and cats and will always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work remotely from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for your pet. Because I’m home most of the time, your pet will receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, and companionship. I’m available on weekdays, weekends, and can accommodate most schedules with advance notice. I live in a clean, newly renovated, and well-furnished apartment that provides a safe and comfortable environment for pets. Since I work remotely, I can supervise them throughout the day and make sure they always have fresh water, regular bathroom breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll treat them with the same care and love as if they were my own. If you’d like, I’m also happy to send photos of my apartment so you can feel confident about where your pet will be staying.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fraser
I was nervous about leaving our senior dog work a new sitter, but a meet-and-greet with Amanda solidified that our pup would be well taken care of, and he was! She has a ton of experience with senior dogs and has a plan for every scenario. Amanda also did a great job with updates throughout the stay, which helped ease my stress about our pup being in a new place. Would highly recommend Amanda!

Kareema was awesome! Very attentive to my pup. My pup, Faith, takes medication once a day and Kareema made sure she followed thru with giving it to her. She even took Faith on daily walks…which Faith LOVES. Thank u for being amazing to my baby while we were out of town. Knowing she was in a loving home while away from home made our travel a bit easier.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
