We recently moved to Michigan for my husband's work, and while I finish my master's degree in Computer Science online, I'm home throughout the day. About: I have over 6 years of experience working in kennels caring for both dogs and cats of all ages. Along with several family friends and people in my community that I have sat for many many times. I have special training in providing medications in any form (Pills, ear/eye drops, topical medications, insulin injections, etc) and training/experience working with dogs of all temperaments (anxious, aggressive, energetic, reactive, etc.) I have a true passion and love for working with cat and dogs but am at not a point in my life where I can get on of my own, so I would love nothing more to spend some time with your fur baby! I am currently finishing up at school at Michigan State University but am commuting from my hometown for this semester. Fortunately I only have to be up in East Lansing for a couple of hours 2 days a week, and I am investing the rest of my time into my online classes. This has left my schedule pretty open for the upcoming months and I will be spending majority of my time with your pet during their stay! For those interested in boarding, I do live with my parents and a sibling, but they all love to have furry visitors and your pet is guaranteed to get an abundance of attention! When I care for someone else's pet I truly treat them as my own. I have great relationship with all of the clients I currently sit for and their pets. My main goal when sitting is to make sure that both the owner and the pet are entirely comfortable while they are in my care. my cat, wednesday, has a history of abuse and is overall an anxious cat, but both myra and her husband were so patient and gentle with her. myra is extremely kind, communicative, and considerate. she gave updates throughout my cat's stay and provided photo updates. she even put my cat in one of her carriers when my cat wouldn't get back into her own. i would definitely book with her again in the future and recommend considering her for your cat boarding!
I was nervous about leaving our senior dog work a new sitter, but a meet-and-greet with Amanda solidified that our pup would be well taken care of, and he was! She has a ton of experience with senior dogs and has a plan for every scenario. Amanda also did a great job with updates throughout the stay, which helped ease my stress about our pup being in a new place. Would highly recommend Amanda!
Kareema was awesome! Very attentive to my pup. My pup, Faith, takes medication once a day and Kareema made sure she followed thru with giving it to her. She even took Faith on daily walks…which Faith LOVES. Thank u for being amazing to my baby while we were out of town. Knowing she was in a loving home while away from home made our travel a bit easier.
Sarah and her family were awesome with our dog Wrigley. It's been years since we left him with anyone. We brought him to her house and immediately he was running around and didn't seem to care that we left him. We felt really comfortable when we left him and never worried about him.
