About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. On Mondays I typically work from home, so I’d be able to do drop ins on Mondays, and on Fridays I work in the office for a half day, so if you go on a weekend getaway I could start earlier on Friday afternoon. When going into someone else’s home, I make sure to follow any rules that the family has in place for me. About: As long as I can remember I’ve been raised with pets! There has never been a time in my life when we didn’t have at least one dog and cat. That being said, I’ve been caring for animals all of my life! I started petsitting more seriously when I was about 13 or 14 years old. Professionally, I used to work in an animal hospital as an animal care technician, which entailed a variety of tasks; daycares, boarding, baths, and more. I’m also signed up as a volunteer at Saving Grace! I’m free Sunday through Thursday at any time! The only days I have restrictions are on Friday and Saturday. Friday and Saturday: Morning - 2:00pm ** I am a waitress, so I don’t typically get off until 10:30pm. ** We have a lot of pets so I don’t intend to pet sit in home. I’m able to administer meds, though I may need a refresher on how to do insulin for diabetic fur babies! As long as you’re comfortable, I typically hang out with your fur baby as much as possible. If I have the day free, I could easily spend the whole day just hanging out with your pet!
