About: Hi im Liz, a 28 year old lover of all animals. I grew up on a small farm in southwest Michigan helping my parents raise horses and bale hay. Living on a farm came with surprises every year - mostly those of stray cats looking for shelter and food. Through the long winters and hot summers, my family helped each animal whether it be cats, opossums, abandoned turkey eggs, you name it. We even got to keep the stray cats which amounted to at least 1 per year (thanks mom). As for the dogs, we always adopted form our local shelter. My mom; a lab fan. My dad; a lover of brittany's. And me; a husky/border collie/any floofy dog lover. Fast forward to now living in Seattle, I help take care of my roommates havaneese, Vida, while she's away at work. Vida is a bit skittish towards many, but I've always had a way with anxious animals (especially my siberian husky...she's terrified of men...and bikes). I have most of my experience with middle aged dogs and cats, but have looked after both puppies and senior dogs before. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! Thanks!
