“Alexandra is excellent with my pups. She is super loving and treats them just like I do. She goes above and beyond to ensure your pups are well cared for and your home is safe. She is very respectful and caring to pets as well as people. She is an absolute joy to work with.”

“Jennifer was such and amazing dog sitter for our two Australian Shepherds. We had a chaotic week before a trip we had planned for months. Both our dogs had to go to the vet for paw injuries that required them to be in cones and kept separate. On top of that our first sitter we had planned did not show up for our meet and greet before our trip. We booked Jennifer the night before our trip and she responded immediately and ask if she could come over within an hour to meet the dogs. She paid extreme attention to detail when we told her all she would have to do with our dogs and asked a ton of questions which really helped to ease our stress. While we were gone she sent us regular updates with photos of our dogs which also eased our worries. All in all Jennifer was punctual, professional and very caring toward our pups and the special situation. I would strongly recommend her to anyone.”

“Chester and Avi had a great time with Rohit! Chester enjoyed his walks and Avi loved getting pets from Rohit. He kept us posted on their status by sending plenty of photos and videos. We would love for him to watch our pets again.”

“Erin is outstanding! I was going to be out of the country for a week and was nervous to leave my cat, an old and demanding lady, and my dog, a very attached and dependent guy, at home. Erin came for a meet and greet visit, asked the right questions, and was eager to help and take care of my fur babies. She loves animals and did an exceptional job with mine while house-sitting for me. She sent daily pics and communicated with me consistently which gave me the peace of mind I needed to take care of my business. Erin is dependable, trustworthy, and responsible. I highly recommend her and will rebook Erin again!”

“Jennifer did a fantastic job watching Benji! We're always a little hesitant to leave him, but she gave him plenty of attention, sent us pictures every day, and made sure to contact us when his stomach was upset. Will definitely be using Jennifer again!”

“Breanna is the best! My dog can be a handful, but I'm confident leaving her in Breanna's skilled care. Trustworthy, reliable, and a great communicator - I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!”

“Kimberly has such a genuine love for animals and is one of the sweetest, kindest people I’ve met on Rover. While I was away, she sent me lots of updates and adorable photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Chester clearly had a great time with her and was so well cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter highly, highly recommend!”

“John did a great job taking care of our two large dogs for about a week. He kept their routine going and sent us plenty of photos and updates. He also took great care with our home and we found everything in good condition. We also appreciated that he came over before the booking started for a ‘meet and greet’. Overall, we felt our dogs were in good hands and we are already planning another booking with him.”

“Nick was great! He sent a number of updates and a few pictures, which was really helpful. I always want to know that our sweet Mischa is being taken care of, and I have no question that Nick did a great job. And as an added bonus, he left the house even neater than he found it!”

“This was our first time having Rachel stay with Lucy and she was absolutely wonderful. Very communicative and responsive, took great care of Lucy and sent me updates while I was gone. I will absolutely be requesting her again in the future and highly recommend her service!”

About: I love animals of all kinds...cats, dogs, horses, lizards, reptiles. I grew up around large dog breeds and spent my childhood taking horseback riding lessons and playing in frog hollers. Now I have a cat of my own and would love to spend my summers off helping you with pet care, too. As a teacher, it is a joy to have summers off, and so much of my week has lots of leisurely free time. I'm available most weekdays until around 7pm. During the school year, I'd love to end my work day taking your furry friend out for a walk or stopping by to check in on them! Growing up around large dog breeds my whole life, I'm comfortable with dogs of all kinds. With a family member who works in vet medicine, I have some knowledge of pet care and pet health; including training, grooming, and dog-walking safety, and understanding pet behaviors. I also have previous experience pet sitting for friends and family, including varying feeding times and administering medications to pets. Pet safety has always been very important to me, so I always make sure my pets' vaccines are up to date, and I never let my cat out to roam outside. Dogs are always leashed, unless they are in their own private yard. I be sure to look out for other pets and animals while out to make sure everyone stays safe. I'm now so lucky to have a cat of my own who rules the house, loving all the attention in the world from her mom and dad. She loves treats and pets, and bird watching from the window. While my space is quite small for any boarding, I'd love to help you care for your furry friend by taking them on walks or helping out at home while you're away. Of course, with lots of treats to share!

“Molly stayed with my pup for five days while I was out of town. She was attentive, communicative with me every day, responsible, knowledgeable, and fun! I'll definitely be reaching out for future care. Oshie and I give two thumbs and four paws way up! Thanks, Molly🙂”

About: This is very easy, I love dogs. All animals really, but I have a soft spot for dogs. I grew up with dogs in the house, but now that I havea small apartment unfortunately I can not own one myself. Id be more than happy to come play, feed, walk and love on your pup. I can take care of dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds. A little about me now. Im 36 years old with some college under my belt. I grew up in the metro detroit area so I know my way around pretty well. I hope that you choose me to take care of your dog, you wont be let down. Thank You very much! I am currently between jobs so I can make anything work with enough notice and communication. Wether it's coming and letting out or feeding I can make it happen I live in an apartment by myself so if I am boarding it's just spending quality time with the animal and taking them for walks. If I'm at the owners home then I would definitely love to go in the backyard and play rather than sit in side.

About: In addition to taking care of a dog my entire life at home, I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats. I can provide any service you can think of, including walking, feeding, and administering medication. Been said to have a mean petting game as well :) I am a full-time college student home for the summer with a flexible schedule, and am willing to meet you and your pet's needs. I am currently working part-time, which leaves me plenty of time for your pups! I always ensure the pet's basic needs are met, including providing food, water, and ample time outside, both playing and going to the bathroom. I will also care for them emotionally, giving them my love and attention at all times.

Farmington Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Erin was a great pet sitter for our three family pets, Emmett, Koda, and Bailey. We went on an externded vacation for over two weeks and Erin stayed at my house. She was extremely attentative, and kind to our little guys and gal. She communicated regularly with us about their health and well-being and maintained my house immaculately. I will defineitely be reaching out to Erin again to watch Koda in the future and cannot receommend her highly enough! Your loved ones will be in great hands with Erin!

Justine was awesome! She was punctual and arrived exactly when she said she would. It was clear that she truly cares about animals, as she was incredibly attentive to our dogs and made sure to stick to their routines, which we really appreciated. Our dogs were happy and well-cared for throughout her stay. On top of that, she kept our house spotless and tidy, which was such a nice bonus. We felt completely at ease knowing our pets were in such great hands. Highly recommend her!

Abbey is absolutely wonderful! She treated both of our dogs with so much love the week we were gone. Our house was spotless when we came back as well! She kept us updated and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable! Will be asking for her every time we take a trip from now on!

This was the first time leaving our dog with someone other than family. We have a very anxious tea cup yorkie with some health issues. Stephanie communicated regularly , did a meet and great and was ontime. Better yet, our pet seemed to bond with her which was good to see. We will definately use and recommend Stephanie,
