About: I have pet sat for many acquaintances over the years, as well nannying which included caring for family pets. I also have two cats of my own! I am currently wfh freelancers, I have plenty of availability in my schedule to care for other peoples furry guys! I have too small of an apartment to have a dog of my own - so my own pet care would never get in the way. I play with my cats every morning and night for at least two hours a day. I believe in a healthy diet for all animals, as well as providing an enriched home life for all domesticated animals. I am proudly in tune with an animal's body language and how the all vocalize their needs differently.

About: I’ve done neighborhood dog care in high school for 2 years and in college occasionally take care of my friends cats while they are away. I’m a full time student at Cal but my classes are all during the morning so afternoons and evenings I am normally available to go for walks, feed, or play with pets. I have a fenced back yard and a pet friendly lease for my apartment. While boarding I would put fragile valuables away securely in my loft.

About: My family back home has rescued two amazing cocker spaniels and I am hoping to give your dog the same love! I have experience with young and old dogs of all sizes. I have also pet sit for my neighbors in LA and in Berkeley. Going into my senior year at UC Berkeley, I am hoping to have a lot more dogs around! I am a big outside person and I have no issue with going on long walks or taking your dog to the park. I'm an undergrad student and working part time so let me know what times are best and I can work around your schedule. Tuesdays during the day I am not available. Attention and love is most important. This can be ensured through long walks and listening to what you need of me. and the pets of course. I love having a healthy lifestyle so there would be no problem with walking a ton!

About: Hi, I’m Sophia! I made Oakland my home almost four years ago! Since my apartment does not allow pets, the time I get to spend with pets is extra special to me. I’ve been around animals my whole life and feel passionate about pet care and wellbeing. Walking and interacting with the dogs I’ve had has always been incredibly rewarding for me, and I want to bring my enthusiasm for dog care to others! While I had my special needs rabbit, I realized how hard it was to find an experienced bunny baby-sitter, especially one that was able to administer medications and care. Now that my little bun has passed away, I thought I could offer this much-needed service to other bunny parents out there. I work from home and between having been previously employed at House Rabbit Society Headquarters, and also at an animal hospital for just over 7 years, I have had both actual training and years of experience to bring to the table...well over 20 years! You can trust that I will care for your little one as if they were my own. I have experience with special needs (medications, injections, fluid therapy, food prep, etc.), as well as a valuable understanding of bunny, cat, and dog behaviors and body language. I treat animals like family members and your fur-baby will be no different! I very much look forward to meeting you and your furry loved one! :) I work from home, so I generally have a fairly flexible schedule and am present quite a bit, making it easier to maintain your baby's schedule and care routines and give lots of attention. I offer Bunny Boarding in my home for a single or bonded pair (or trio depending on their space needs). They stay in my office in my condo, which means I will be around them a lot throughout the day, and away from hub-bub of other animals (like you might expect at other boarding locations) so it's easy to keep things quite and low-stress. For drop-in visits for cats/dogs/bunnies, I tend to spend a moment with treats and greetings before going into play or for walks, showing them I am trust worthy. If they enjoy it, I love giving brushies, and using their favorite toys to play. Always happy to do a little focus work for treats, so if you want me to reinforce any training commands, I would be happy to. Cuddles and petties are an essential and core part of the menu (and personally my favorite part), but I always read body language and energy cues as to how much affection they are interested in at the moment.

I’m well experienced with caring for large senior dogs and know that a pet’s diet may vary with age. About: Hi, I've worked with many different animals from meerkats and monkeys to cheetahs and bears. The wide variety of animals I've worked with has allowed me to understand animal care in a unique way. No matter the animal, I think it is important to stay calm and pay attention to their emotions and get to know them. When I take care of your pet they can expect plenty of walks, potty breaks and cuddles, while you can expect plenty of updates and photos! Since I do not have any pets of my own I get excited having animals over. I am able to keep to a routine, administer medications and alter my schedule to fit your pets needs. You will be leaving your furry (or not) friend in capable and caring hands. I cannot wait to hang with your pet! I'm currently on summer break, which means I am available for full time fun with your pet! My vacations are updated on the calendar, feel free to check it out. I love to get out of the house and go for walks in the neighborhood or in a park! When I watch your dog we will go on at least two long walks a day, stopping to sniff for as long as they'd like. If it’s your cat I am watching we will play with their favorite toy and get some pets in!
