About: One of my passions in life is pets and caring for them. As a graduate from Carrington College in veterinary assisting I learned valuable skills such as understanding animal behavior, CPR, nail trims and administering medications. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, hampsters, lizards, fish, frogs and feel comfortable with nearly any type of pet. OUTSIDE REVIEWS Heather took care of my young and active miniature Australian Labradoodle Maggie for 3 nights. She stayed at my home and did an amazing job. I came home to a calm and happy dog and my house was just as I left it . Maggie loved her and she loved Maggie. I felt 100 % confident that she was in good hands. She has experience with animals, loves them and has even had vet tech training in the past. Previously, when I left Maggie with a sitter for 3 days she didn’t eat and lost a pound, but with Heather she was just as I left her. I was delighted. Heather gets 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 I am free just about any time and duration, and can go anywhere that Tri-Met can take me if it's an hour or less travel time. I will take your dog to a park if it's within walking distance, or walk around the neighborhood, or play/run around in the yard or house as well.

About: I’ve taken care of and owned many different kinds of dogs (and animals). I grew up on a farm and have lots of experience. I am honest and reliable. Being a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to give attention to our fur babies. Regularly walking, petting, scratching, feeding is like second nature. Fur babies become part of everyday routine. The health and happiness of our animals is dependent on our level of commitment. I pride myself on my 100% commitment to my pets and the pets I take care of. I live in an apartment, so regular walking and playing is absolutely necessary. I live very close to several dog parks/off leash areas. I frequent them with my own dog. I can easily crate your baby if needed. I set alerts to make sure any meds are administered and make them as comfortable as possible. Lots of cuddling if they want it!

About: I have spent lots of time taking care of and being with dogs since having my own dog in 3rd grade, as well as countless cats my family had grownup. I have had my own dog Bruce for the last 3 and a half years and am thrilled to use my extra time helping watch dogs who need it. I have a fenced back yard with lots of space to play and behind my yard is a large park in which to walk and play. My own doggo loves to play outside, lay in the sun, chase the squirrels on the fence, and talk with dogs that walk through the park.

About: I believe my 2 years in vet med has provided me exceptional knowledge in order to provide the best care for your pets. I practice everyday at work to notice even the smallest of changes in my patients. I, of course, am always making sure they’re comfortable and am always advocating for them! I also would be more than to happy to provide some play time, administer any meds or any other special routines! Similar to when I’m at work, I provide care for my own pets at home. Making sure they have food, water, clean bedding, and making sure they’re comfortable are extremely important to me! About: I grew up with dogs in the house, always loved spending time with my friends dogs and cuddling with my own. My childhood dog Lucy I helped take care of until she passed at 13. I currently help care for my 10-year-old family husky that has hip problems. I love hyper puppies and tiring them out with play. I'm good with stressful situations. Due to my past caregiving jobs I am used to sorting and administering medicine, and with my own husky i'm used to giving dogs medication. I am occasionally working for a family friend for caregiving, but its usually maybe 5 times a week, so pet sitting will be no problem. I like things clean so I will make sure to put toys where they go and tidy around the house while I'm there. I like grooming dogs, seeing as I have a husky I am no stranger to a lot of fur, as well as cleaning up after grooming.

About: Dogs, cats, fish, birds, rabbits, rodents, farm animals. Experienced taking care of a large number of animals. Ran a homestead for three years with small livestock and have assisted other farms with their animals. I started my pet care with fish when I was ten. I adopted my first couple of cat companions fifteen years ago. My grandmother's old dog joined our family after she passed away until she joined her a few years later. I have a lot of experience training cats although I've haven't yet paid for a certification. My cats learn to play hunt before meals, high five, sit, come when called, etc. Our family currently includes two older male cats. Phobos is our most recent addition. An approximately eight year old stray at deaths door step. Fleas, eye infection, malnutrition, teeth rotting (only two didn't have to be pulled), and hiding in a corner in his own pee. Within a few short months he became a healthy, vibrant, well trained partner always looking for loves. I'm a school bus driver which leaves me with some open time in the middle of the day on school days and addition time on non-school days. With time in the middle of the day when I work I can often service two separate areas. North Portland and out near Gresham. I look forward to giving your furry family lots of attention and care. I'll pay close attention to your care requirements as every animal has different needs and desires. You can count on pictures to set your mind at ease.

About: Aloha, My name is Miranda Kaleiopu. I love all animals (but mostly dogs). I’ve had my own pups over the years, and each one has held significance in my life. Currently I have 3 pets. A chiweenie, Siberian husky/german Shepard mix, & a Domestic Bust tabby kitten. They are all the sweetest bunch. My little dog can be more vocal, but he is all bark mostly (little man syndrome in my opinion) but also just protective. They all have never attacked other animals or harmed other animals. My pets are sweethearts & I’m not just being biased. I do have little ones (3 & 7 year old) as well. They love animals too & enjoy playing with them & helping sometimes. Besides experience from taking care of my own animals & my past rover clients, I’ve actually worked at a vet clinic for over a year. I do have more knowledge now (but ofc I am not a vet) but I do feel more confident now than I did previously. I do live in an apartment, but it has a dog park. I will be taking them there a couple times besides walking. Let me know if you want them to just go for walks. For boarding, I would like for you to provide a kennel (if you have one), bed, a toy, and enough food to supply your pet till pick up day. For walking, I can only do evening walks unless it is on Saturday or Sunday. I will have a more open schedule starting in Sept, but currently I’m open on the weekends and around work hours. I will make it work. I just do the normal day to day plus whatever the pet may need. I do prefer for owner to bring their pet, pet bed, bowls, & a toy or something for comfort.

About: While growing up I have always had a dog in the home. I’m a huge dog lover and don’t know what I would do if I did not have a dog in my life. I remember when my parents let me chose our next dog when I was young. I chose a sheltie and named him Arrow. The reason for the name Arrow was when I went to pick him up I noticed in his fur on the back of his head was an arrow. I loved taking care of Arrow and we had a special bond! I loved taking him on walks and he loved chasing me around the house. When I turned 15 I started to take care of one of my neighbors cats and fish when they went on vacations. After completing one summer, I started taking care of their cats and fish for the next eight years before I moved out. Once the rest of my neighbors found out I was known in the neighborhood for taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats when they were on vacations! I have also taken care of many of my coworkers cats and dogs as well. So rest assured your pet will be in good hands while you are on vacation. It will be one less stress to worry about. I currently work full time, however work three 12 hours shifts. I’m currently off Friday-Monday. So I’m available for the weekends, so perfect for anyone wanting to do a weekend getaway! I do work graveyard so I’m available anytime after 2pm on Fridays. However, if you need to drop of earlier just communicate so I can plan ahead. My girlfriend and I live in a townhouse. I don’t have a fenced backyard. However, have a small backyard that is used for potty breaks. It does have a small area of grass turf (fake grass). The good news we live in Fairview in the Fairview Terrace community. We have a very large area for dogs. So your dog will have lots of playtime in the grassy area. Also, the neighborhood is perfect for walking your dog as well. The community is fenced and a gated community as well. Our community is very dog friendly and many pet owners. We also have a micro mini Golden doodle. So your dog will have a playmate as well. We can also send photos of your pet to you while on vacation to help with the separation. I know when I go on vacation I have a hard time leaving my fur baby behind. For me, getting photos of my fur baby made the vacation a little easier!

About: I’ve worked in Veterinary medicine for 15+ years which includes Kennel/Veterinary Assistant in a general practice ,Emergency Veterinary Medicine for almost 5 years now. I am most recently since moving out west in the ER/ICU at a Veterinary Speciality. I moved from Maine in the summer of 2024 to explore more of the outdoors and meet new people. I’ve had on and off experience over many years of pet sitting mostly for my veterinary co workers pets in their homes (multiple cats, multiple dogs and sometimes a combination of both). I would love to have healthy fun experiences with your pets on their normal day and maybe learn something new from each of them. I work full time Thurs-Saturday I’m available for Walks, Daycare and Drop ins. I have no Daycare friends at this time so I am more available for drops in or walks. About: I live by a big park and go for walks there often. I often have my daughters dog here and he is fine around other dogs. We sometimes go with friends in a group to walk the dogs. I work from home and have plenty of time. I can bring the dogs to appointments if needed. My rear car seat can go down to make room for the dogs. I’ve cared for three dogs at a time in the past and it worked out great. I can also make sure the dogs stay on a special diet if needed. I have two cats that are usually upstairs asleep. I feed the cats twice a day in the upstairs bathroom with the door closed so no dog can get to their food. I’m home most mornings and all afternoons so I have plenty of time to take care of dogs. If I go somewhere for more than 3 hours I have my daughter come and watch them. I take them for walks and pay extra attention to them so they don’t get too homesick. I can do house visits if it’s not too far.
