“Laura was great. She sent pictures of our fur babies often and took great care of them while we were gone even though they can be a bit crazy. She was flexible with our changing schedule which was great. Thankful we were able to find her for this trip.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Maddison was incredibly responsive and respectful of my home. She took such great care of my dog, and I could tell my pup was happy and well looked after. On top of that, she was super kind. Highly recommend!”

“Kate took fantastic care of our pets. She had great communication and kept us updated on any issues while we were away. She met all their needs and then some. Would 100% book again.”

“Danika was an incredible sitter! She took amazing care of our five pets (three dogs and two cats) while we were traveling internationally. Two of our dogs are very shy rescues, and she was able to win them over with patience and kindness, which is no easy feat. We came home to all of the animals looking relaxed and clearly well cared for. Danika kept in touch throughout our trip with updates that gave us peace of mind. She even washed and changed our bedding so we could come home to fresh sheets after a 20-hour travel day. So thoughtful! We would absolutely book with Danika again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate sitter on Rover.”

“Cheyenne was great! She was really on top of communicating and sent many cute pictures of Bambi while we were away to reassure us that Bambi was being well taken care of. She really went above and beyond. I would definitely book her again!”

“Mariah took great care of our pets and was great when our AC froze up on one of the hottest days of the year. Thank you for taking such great care of the boys in difficult circumstances.”

“Jahaila is a dog owner’s dream sitter! We love her and so do all three of our large dogs. She communicates with us better than most “people” babysitters! I highly recommend Jahaila and look forward to her next stay with Olaf, Willow, and Goose.”

About: I used to work at two different vet clinics, as well as I've done basic dog training. Most of my training involves special cat handling, and administering medications. I have also always had pets, my entire life, cats and dogs Bunny's, chickens, goats, ducks fish birds you name it. I've had it. I've been around the block with almost every sickness you can think of when it comes to animals including cat cancer. I am well equipped handle the medical needs of animals. I am pretty much always home so I can almost always at least have One pet at a time unless it's two pets from the same owner In my home the cats have their own fairly large play crate, they have free roam as well . the dogs they have free roam are allowed on the couch unless the owner doesn't like that, in which case I will make sure they are not allowed on the couch. They can go into our back porch area and they can go into the front yard or the side yard. There's potty bags for me to pick up their poop and everything and if any of them have medical needs. I have been trained and know how to handle most medical needs

“So thankful for Haile coming to our rescue last minute. Incredibly sweet and thoughtful and I definitely felt like she had Battys best interest at heart. Looking forward to booking again! 🤍”

“Claudia has been dependable and flexible for daily drop-ins and walks with my precious furbaby. My pup took to her from day 1! She has a great ability to make her anxiety melt away enough to get much needed rest yet excited enough to run. Claudia is super attentive and provides excellent communication. You are so appreciated Claudia!”

“Oh, where do I even begin? Raina sitter showered Benji with so much love and attention! They made sure to follow all of Benji's special needs. They even took the time to learn about his quirks and preferences to make him feel comfortable. It was clear that they genuinely cared for Benji like their own furry family member. They truly went above and beyond to ensure his happiness and well-being. Benji couldn't have asked for a better caregiver! ?❤️?”

“Julia did a phenomenal job house sitting and watching our cattle dog mix Phoebe for 4 days. She was very professional, attentive, checked in with us and sent pictures, and left us a tidy home and happy healthy pup to come home to. Would certainly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter.”

About: I have 15 years of pet care experience. Growing up my grandmother always needed help with her cat and dog, whether it was feeding them or walking Spuds! I have experience in bathing both cats and dogs and I personally give my cats a quarterly wash-down. I am comfortable with administering topical ointments or giving shots if needed. I assisted many times with my local TNR program and have great experience with cats specifically. I am currently a part-time student and working an internship that is based on the EST time zone. So I am up early and ready to go at all hours. I am work from home and my classes are also online so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I will always animal proof homes regardless if it’s mine or not. Pets having access to fresh water is always a must. Caring for pets is a case by case as all of them have their own personalities! If they need quiet, that’s cool or if they’re more rowdy I can get down with that too!
“Angela did a great job house sitting and taking care of my special needs dog (blind and diabetic). She administered daily insulin shots and eye drops and cleaned up after him and my two cats while I was on vacation. I would highly recommend Angela for anyone needing a dog/house sitting.”
About: I have 3 years of training and experience in animal behavior, safety protocal, first aid, rescuing, & fostering with both Sammie's Friends (Nevada City) and Bradshaw (Sacramento) dog shelters. I've rescued and/or fostered 8 dogs from ages 10-weeks to 9-years. With love, positive reinforcement, consistency, and small achievable goals each of my beloved dogs overcame issues ranging from lack of socialization, leash agression, food aggression, fear aggression, and abandonment. For me, every day spent in the company of dogs is the best day. I'm self-employed working about 20 hours per week from home. My house is small so I always have one eye on what my pups are up to. They go out every 2-5 hours for a total of 2-hours/day, preferably to local wilderness areas or a private dog park. We flourish together with structure: early morning exercise & consistent meal times. They are all welcome on the furniture. I don't have a private yard but I live to be in the outdoors with my pups, rain or shine. My last foster, Dexter, was adopted in October so I am currently dogless. (sad face)
About: Not only am I an animal lover, I have been a dog trainer for the last 18 years and a Pet First Aid & CPR instructor since earlier this year. I have worked with all kinds of animals and am familiar with a large range of behaviors. I also volunteered at different shelters for over 8 years. You can trust me with your pet. I am currently a professional dog trainer with availability for pet care throughout the week. I can be flexible for mornings, evenings and weekends, working around my training schedule. In clients homes I follow the guidelines provided by the pet owner. We discuss any clarifications before the job begins ensuring we have a mutual understanding on what is needed.
About: My entire life, I’ve been surrounded by furry friends 🐾♥️ I grew up with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, and fostered for years before I adopted my German Shepherd mix, Georgie, who is now my outdoor adventure buddy 🏕️ I’m walking/running/hiking every day, and I’d love to have your fur baby join me! They will be my sole focus, unless you want my pup to join for socialization. It’s up to you! ✨ I’m happy to answer any questions you may have, so please don’t hesitate to reach out! I know my pup is my life, and I want to show yours the same love, respect, and attention. I look forward to hearing from you! I work remote and have flexible hours. I’m also in school for Radiology, but my current classes are online, so my schedule is very flexible. This makes it so I can always find time to get outside for some exercise and adventure. At a client’s home, I can pop in and out as often as you’d like, and stay for several hours to give your pup all the exercise, love, and mental stimulation you’d like. I’m happy to do walks around your neighborhood, or if you’d want your pup to join me on a nearby hike we can do that too. I also have experience crate-training, and overnight dog-sitting is possible thanks to my flexible work schedule. With overnights, your pup is also welcome to get cozy at my apartment beside the American River, which has plenty of hiking trails and bike paths nearby to explore. My 65 pound dog is used to foster siblings, so he’d be content to have a furry guest. He’s fully vaccinated and has never been aggressive.
“Mario was absolutely fantastic! Not only did he follow all instructions to the letter, but he also went above and beyond to ensure our dogs felt loved and comfortable in our absence. Communication was top-notch, with regular updates and videos that put our minds at ease. I cannot recommend Mario highly enough for anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter. Our dogs will definitely be looking forward to our next trip!”

Brooklyn was wonderful! She is so kind, compassionate, and truly loves dog sitting. She sent detailed updates with lots of photos daily, making us feel completely at ease while I was away. It was so obvious our dog Remy loved his time with Brooklyn. In addition the house was clean and organized when we returned home. Thank you Brooklyn- Remy wound love playtime soon again!

We had another great home sitting experience with Ashlin. She continues to show excellent attention to detail and dependable communication. Our dog really enjoys spending time with her, and she always takes good care of our home as well. We will definitely continue to use Ashlin for future bookings!
Kendra was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind and loving with my dogs, took great care of my senior dog and his medication schedule, and left my home just as she found it. She spent lots of time with my pups and was always in communication with updates and photos. I highly recommend her and will be happy to have her take care of my dogs in the future.

Johnna was a wonderful and attentive caretaker for our little fur family! We got lots of updates and pics which we loved. She was able to come by a couple times before we left so our doggo could get to know her and her super sweet pup, Bonnie. We will definitely use her again and highly recommend her!

There are not enough superlatives for our experience with Levi’s pet sitting/house sitting. Within two days, he had my grumpy old man dog accepting hugs! Our packages and mail were brought in promptly, the dogs were fed and walked as we asked, and the house was neat as a pin when we returned. Levi even stripped the bed and washed the sheets! Levi has great manners, is very personable, and will absolutely be invited back - IF we can get shoehorned into his packed calendar 😉.

Alora is a very responsible and communicative pet sitter! She visited us twice before we left in order to get to know our pup a bit and learn her routine. She was proactive, asked questions, scheduled pay dates. She sent frequent photos and kept us informed of her scheduled time away from the house, when necessary. We would definitely recommend!

Nadiia is my furbabies' new best friend. As a repeat client, there is nothing negative to report about Nadiia. Follows directions, communicates often and with pictures, and truly cares for my pups. Thank you Nadiia for being such a committed and caring sitter❣️🐾✨️

Cheyenne was prompt, alert, attentive and compassionate to and with Abby. She sent me verbal updates and photos every day. I was never concerned about her care and safety with Cheyenne. I would recommend her to anyone who wants their pets well cared for at any time. I will hire her again when I need a house/pet sitter.
