“Rebekah is the sweetest! Took care of our puppies very well! She is very responsive and very good response to feedback and requests! She is efficient when it comes to last minute changes and updated!”

“Thank you Fatima! You went above and beyond in caring for Winston in his home. It is so wonderful to see how happy and well cared for he is while we are away! Wonderful comfort.”

“Hannah was an absolute pleasure to work with. Weims are a very energetic breed and she fit right in. She came on time (even early) and was very courteous with my pup. My pup is very selective and loved her. I can’t thank her for all of the updates and kindness. Would 10/10 recommend !”

“Christina is awesome! She took great care of our babies and house while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She sent lots of pictures and left the house incredibly clean when we got back!”

“Alexis was the best! We would totally recommend and can’t wait to use her again. She was so communicative and really went above and beyond. She sent updates, followed the instructions we left, and even washed and remade the bed before leaving. Brisket loved the snuggles and daily walks.”

“Joseph was great, sent lots of pictures and videos while he dog sat during our week vacation. Took our dog for walks, brought in our delivered packages and even took out the garbage!”

“Tatjana was amazing with our bunny. She had great communication, sent frequent pics and updated me every day. I was so nervous to leave her since they are so skittish. But Tatjana took great care of her and followed the directions I left. Couldn't have left her in better hands. Always punctual and dependable. Highly recommend for your fur babies.”

“Shelby is great! We have had her check in on our pets and now house sit and stay with them. Both times she has been amazing with them and very flexible with their quirks and behaviors when their parents aren’t home. Would recommend her and will use her again in the future!”

“Collin & Ashely are always great company for our anxious, large, snuggle pup pit bull. They are tidy, thoughtful, and keep us posted with lots of photos and updates. All my other reviews will tell you the same. They are consistent and reliable. Thank you! See you soon.”
“We usually do drop ins for our kitties but did house sit this time and it worked out amazing! Jazmine is responsible, dependable, and communicative. We get a pretty detailed recap of the day and lots of videos and pictures. Of course the kitties loved it and housesit worked a lot better for my cat that picks at his food throughout the day. We didn’t have to worry at all. Ty Jazmine you are the best!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing experience with our pet sitter! Her communication was outstanding from start to finish. She always responded promptly, kept us updated with pictures, and checked in whenever she had a question or wanted to clarify something. We really appreciated her willingness to ask rather than make assumptions—it showed how much she cared about providing the best care possible. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, and it was clear that she genuinely loves animals. Our pets absolutely adored her, and we could tell from the photos and updates that they were happy, comfortable, and receiving lots of attention while we were away. Knowing our furry family members were in such caring and capable hands gave us tremendous peace of mind. We are so grateful for the excellent care she provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and compassionate pet sitter. We would happily book with her again! ❤️🐾”

“Alexa was amazing with our dogs. Our 4 month old puppy came with a big schedule and lots of care, time and attention needed. She tackled it all. We received photos and updates, multiple times a day. Our dogs were happy and well taken care of which made the vacation enjoyable knowing they were in great hands. Alexa will be our go to dog sitter in the future!”

“I can't say enough good things about our recent experience with Johnna pet/house sitting for us. Johnna took the time to meet us first to make sure it would be a good fit. Our dog is a senior and Johnna was so kind and considerate of all of his needs. Her little dog Bonnie is so adorable and I think having her here made Dexter feel even more comfortable. She sent us daily updates and pictures to let us know how he was doing. She left the house spotless and even watered our outdoor plants! It was by far the best experience I have had with a pet sitter. I have already reserved another pet sitting!”

“I highly recommend Dylan to watch your pet. He was amazing with our Bella. He took her to our local dog park daily and spent time playing with her and cuddling her. He put up with her crazy antics and loved on her. He provided multiple updates throughout the day and trip. 12/10 recommended.”

“Our pet crew loved Brandy! She sent updates with pictures everyday, and the dogs and cats looked happy and well cared for. We felt comfortable that they were good hands!”

“Melissa did a great job keeping my dog company and taking him for walks. She texted and sent pics 2 of the 3 days. Hudson liked her and I like to have consistent caretakers for him, so I will see if she’s available the next time we go out of town.”

“Erika was the best. It was my first time leaving Burton with a sitter. She sent me updates via text and was very kind and caring. I would request her again when I visit the area again.”

“Ben took excellent care of my spicy kitten who wanted nothing to do with him. He is a soft spoken gentleman who eventually got her to trust him enough to play with him, even though there were soft hisses of protest when he tried to pet her, she didn’t run away. So if she was truly upset she would have been gone. I’ll have him back for sure to keep an eye on her and her separation anxiety at bay.”

We could not have asked for a better person to care for Remi and our home while we were away. Nancy truly went above and beyond in every way. She didn’t just take care of Remi—she made sure Remi had a great time! She took her on walks and to the dog park, played endless games of ball, prepared her special meals of chicken and quinoa, and even took her to the store to buy new balls. She also brought some unique balls from her own home because she thought Remi would enjoy them—which, of course, she did! Nancy kept us updated every day with texts, photos, and videos. Being away from Remi is never easy, but those updates gave us such peace of mind. We could see that Remi was happy, comfortable, and genuinely enjoying herself, and we never had to worry about whether she was being well cared for. Nancy stayed in our home every night and treated our home with the same care she gave Remi. We came home to a clean house, dog hair picked up, and she had even gathered the linens and put them in the laundry. None of that was expected—it was simply Nancy going the extra mile. Most importantly, we came away knowing we can completely trust Nancy with two things that mean a great deal to us: Remi and our home. We were so pleased with her that we have already booked her for our next trip. We highly recommend Nancy and feel very fortunate to have found her. Remi may be the happiest of all—she gets to have Nancy come back! 🐾❤️

Morgan is beyond amazing. Our pets (three cats and a dog) all absolutely adored her, even our scaredy-cat started to make an appearance. Communication was consistent, clear and she was very responsive. She sent us multiple pictures and messages every day about how the pets were doing. The house was impeccable when we got back. We will definitely be using Morgan again!

Laura is amazing! She loves my pets as much as I do and leaves my home better than I left it! She is thoughtful and sends daily pictures. She also communicates when she has a question or concern and is always keeping me in the loop. I highly recommend Laura!

Christina was great with my pets. She did pet sitting in my house when I was on vacation for a week. She was reliable, great communicator and my pets were comfortable with her. She provided me with daily updates and photos and I felt relieved that my fur babies were doing great while I was away. When I came back, the house was in immaculate condition and the pets were happy. I would definitely recommend her and I will use her services again.

I am so happy we chose Kaiya to care for my babies while I was traveling. From the start her warm personality was apparent and I could see my pups would be comfortable having her care for them. She provided frequent communication and sent cute photos. Even my shy rescue pup was quickly at ease.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Antelope walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Antelope maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Antelope choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
