Animals have always been an active part of my life. From the urban cat and dog life to the rural farm life, I have seen and done it all. I have worked with and owned rats, pigs, cats, dogs, goats, chickens, ducks, sheep, and horses. From getting picky dogs to take their medicine to assisting in the delivery of a baby goat, I am definitely capable of handling your animals home medical needs. My own fur babies Winny, Sully and Bear mean the world to me and when I travel it gives me such a huge sense of relief to know they are being well taken care of. I am a pet owner with pet owner expectations and I hope you believe me when I say I will go above and beyond to make sure you feel the same sense of security when your pets are in my care.

I meet the pet on their turf and respect their boundaries. If you dog/cat is ready for love and play, I am ready to match that energy. If your dog/cat needs space and is slow to warm, I am comfortable taking things slow and letting them decide when they are ready. They least amount of stress on them is what is best for everyone.

Hire her! My cats are skittish and don't care for anyone, except for Katie. I trust Katie in my home and with my pets and never feel worried that I will come home to anything other than perfection.
I've known Katie for over 12 years, and she has always been an animal lover. Over the years she has watched our family dogs, and each time she has proven to be dependable, reliable, responsible and incredibly attentive to our pets. We had one dog who (when we were away) would not eat her food without someone sitting next to her. Katie specifically spent the time to sit next to her and comfort her so that she would feel comfortable to eat. I can't imagine someone more trustworthy and kind to care for other animals as well.

Schedule
I currently have a full time job at Sac State, so I can only spend mornings and evenings with your pets. But the time spent with them is quality and engaging, making sure they feel stimulated and loved while their family is away.
