About: Having been through some pretty big life changes recently, I’m reminded to slow down and focus on things that make me happy. One thing that makes me happy is dogs. I’ve also wanted to get out and take more walks, so what better way to enjoy both than dog walking. I’ve had pets of all types all my life, but dogs are hands down my favorite. I currently have two of my own and occasionally watch my friends’ dogs. A friend of mine uses Rover, and I’ve been a pet sitter since I was a teen, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have taken a few training classes when my dog was a puppy and I have some experience with special needs (seniors, blindness, low mobility, and seizures). I work full time, but telework three days a week. For midday visits and dog walks, someone close to home would be best to ensure availability. We can always discuss evening visits or walks as well. For boarding, unless discussed and scheduled prior, weekends would best to ensure I can be home with your fur babe. I treat visiting pups like my own. They’re allowed on my furniture and in my bed. I have multiple crates of various sizes if a crate is needed. My yard is fenced, but dogs aren’t typically left unattended in the yard. I have seven free range chickens in my yard, so their safety is also a concern for me. I’m also open to discussion if your dogs’ needs don’t align with my typical routine; I don’t mind changing things up if it’s something I can accommodate.

My pets have regular veterinary care and monthly treatments for fleas ticks heartworm as directed by veterinarian. We keep clean sheets covering furniture for pets. Out visiting pets must be current with vaccinations and flea/tick treatments.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life, mostly rescued all of my dogs. I have volunteered for dog and cat rescues including Rocket Dog Rescue in San Francisco. I volunteered for SPCA for over 10 years. I also have fostered many dogs and volunteered for dog shelters to be able to walk dogs. I started walking dogs in college over 20 years ago on the side. I have worked for Honeys Heart in San Francisco where I helped with boarding, training, cleaning and feeding dogs as well as taking care and walking dogs. Of course tons of belly rubs and play time! I have fostered puppies as well as adult seniors. Some dogs I fostered for weeks to months until I found a loving home. I absolutely love and care for animals and I’m always excited to be part of their lives. About: Hi! I have always loved animals, growing up with many cats, dogs, chickens, fish, birds, etc. Right now I have a cat, Luna, who we love dearly! We are not quite ready to fully pause travel and commit full time to a dog at home, so I am looking forward to enjoying some dog time via Rover! I am available all day on weekends, and after 5:15pm on week days. My Sat/Sun availability will vary based on my schedule, but I would love to take walks on my open weekends! I plan to ask pet preferences and communicate with the owner prior to our first walk. I am in tune with what a dog’s mood and what they may be communicating during our walk. “Natalie did a great job. We have a recent rescue who has a lot of trauma and no training yet, and of course we are working with him daily to try to get him sorted out. But it’s a lot, and it’s hard to find someone who can handle him — he’s 70 pounds! Literally other dog sitters have met him and felt overwhelmed or intimidated. Natalie was fantastic. She has a ton of dog experience because she works with dogs daily as her profession, and it really shows. She was the perfect combination of compassionate, patient and firm to handle our tornado pup.
