“Left my 2 year old German Shepard puppy with this family for about a week while we went on a cruise. I am incredibly grateful to of found such a fun household to look after her. About: Belly rubs, couch cuddles, neighborhoods walking, backyard playing and toy playing. I love caring for animals, especially dogs. I have been around dogs for 18 years, caring for my own dogs and friends’ dogs. I prioritize your pet's safety and your peace of mind above all else. I follow your specific feeding, medication, and crate schedules perfectly. You can expect frequent photo updates, quick responses, and a highly structured, secure environment for your furry family member. I work from home every day. My schedule is very friendly for me to interact with and care for the furry friends. I don’t like to leave the dogs alone at home, even for my own dog. I have a large fence yard for your dog to go out and get outdoor play time. I also have a 2 years old miniature sheepadoodle who loves to run and play. Her name is Lulu, and she will keep your dog good company.

Galady gives clear instructions and makes pick up and drop off super easy and I never worry when luci is there. I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Chong was great! She took great care of my 3 y/o Goldendoodle Maggie. Maggie needs special supervision since she has a habit of getting into socks and other items. Chong was very diligent about keeping an eye on Maggie and keeps a very clean home, which gave me confidence that Maggie was set up for success. Chong’s dog Gus is a sweetheart and Maggie came back happy and tired. Thanks so much Chong! 🐾”

“Nina had a great time! This was her first time with Ann so I was a little bit nervous, but Ann and her husband were awesome! I got lots of videos seeing what Nina was up to and she got to do lots of enrichment activities while she was with them. It felt like they were clearly very passionate about dogs and now that Nina’s home, she’s super tired so I can tell she had a great time. Felt like we had plenty of communication throughout the visit.”

“Serena was so great with our dogs! She took amazing care of our high energy lab and our recently adopted rescue who is still warming up to new people. We appreciated having a meet and greet with her and Wes. We left our dogs overnight for a test run before we go on vacation. She took lots of pictures and was very communicative. We booked her for our future vacations and are confident our pups will be well taken care of and have a great time.”

“Mariah did a great job caring for our two cats, three ducks, and desert tortoise. She was very self sufficient, figured things out quickly, and the cats loved her. With so many different pets, there was quite a bit to do but she did everything with ease. She also took care of some indoor and outdoor plant watering! Thank you, Mariah!”

About: I grew up with animals on a farm and have always had a dog or cat in my home. We love our pets and treat them as family. I am home most of the day so providing one on one are won’t be a problem! I have a very flexible schedule! I am home everyday of the week and can make frequent trips if needed. I offer same day cancellation but do need a couple days notice to make sure I am not out of town. My dog is walked twice a day everyday and we have a fenced backyard. We also have cats that have free time of the house and outside and are very friendly with our dog. Our dog has a bed in just about every room and is allowed to get on one of our couches (however often tries sneaking onto the other one).

“Once again, Olesia took incredible care of our kitty, Basket! She and her husband gave him the “royal” treatment, grooming him, playing with him and even letting him sleep with them. I received many pictures and videos throughout his stay and updates on his eating and bathroom habits as well. Olesia has my highest recommendation and I know Basket is looking forward to the next time he gets to visit!”

“Johnna took such great care of Luna. I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands. We received pictures and updates that kept us feeling confident in her care. Thank you Johnna!”

“Ariana is very friendly and takes great care of my dog. I can tell that she is a "dog" person and that she knows what she is doing and really cares. It is a bonus that she does not over-charge for her services and offers the convenient pick up and drop off services. She takes several pictures and keeps me updated, which I appreciate.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Alexis and her family. Bonnie loved spending the day playing with the kids and other dogs. Communication with Alexis was also great - we’d happily book again!”

“We have hired multiple sitters in multiple cities using this app. This doggy daycare is by far the best that we have had the privilege of sending our puppy to. Our five month old puppy is going through a trying time, with a terrible habit of humping everything in sight when he gets excited. We are working on it, but he’s such a difficult puppy to deal with right now. This host was very strategic with working around our puppy’s shortcomings and very forgiving. And was even helpful with giving us pointers on how to work on this bad behaviour. We are so very grateful to have been able to relax during our family’s belated Thanksgiving dinner knowing our baby was in very professional hands.”

“This was my first time using rover and I was so nervous to leave my dog with someone I didn’t know. Kendra made me feel comfortable immediately. She obviously loves dogs and gave my Gracie all the love and attention that she requires. The walks during the day were definitely appreciated as well. I will absolutely be booking with Kendra in the future.”

“So grateful for Lucy taking on my pups so last minute. She asked lots for great questions before committing and we were able to set everything up very smoothly. The dogs did great under her care and communication was flawless throughoutthe day while they were with her. Will definitely book with Lucy again in the future and happy to find someone close by who is a safe and reliable choice for my babies.”

About: Hi! I am a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, studying nutrition, and I am focusing on pet care for this summer. For the past 10 years, I’ve cared for animals of all kinds-from dogs and cats to reptiles-getting experience almost every day. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies who need attention and basic training, to senior pets who require patience and close attention to their needs. Whether I’m out on a walk, providing overnight care, or just keeping a pet company, I focus on making sure each animal feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am attentive to the details of what each animal needs and I am great with routines as well. My number one value is bringing reassurance for both the owner and animal so you can feel confident that your pet is in good hands! I am very flexible and I am open to care on weekdays and weekends. I am usually available throughout the day, from mornings to late nights. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I pay close attention to their routines, behavior, and specific needs-especially during walks and daily care. With experience ranging from puppies to senior dogs, I adjust my approach to match each pet’s energy level and any special requirements. At home, I have a medium-sized senior dog named Amber who is very laid back and gets along well with other pets. When I care for animals in my home, I always do slow, careful introductions and prioritize safety and comfort. I make sure each pet has their own space and only allow interaction when both animals are fully comfortable.
About: Animals have been part of my life since I was an early adult, and caring and connecting with them comes naturally. As a wellness coach, husband and father of two, I’m big on structure, patience, and creating a calm, safe inviting environment for every dog I work with. I’m active outdoors, hiking, walking trails, and exploring around in the neighborhood, so your dog will get plenty of movement and attention. I will always adapt movement and attention needs to your liking. I’ve handled everything from high-energy pups to gentle senior dogs, and I’m confident with feeding routines, medication reminders, crate-training basics, and helping anxious dogs feel secure. I treat every pet like my own and keep owners updated with photos, check-ins, and clear communication so you always know your dog is in good hands. Whether your dog needs long walks, overnight care, or a dependable companion while you’re away, I bring consistency, kindness, and professional-level responsibility to every stay. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home and set my own schedule. I’m already outdoors often, walking, working on the yard, biking, or taking my own dog out around the neighborhood or on the trails, so adding your pup into my day is a seamless fit. I’m available for boarding service either at my home or yours for 2-4 days during the week and weekend boarding requests as well. Your dog will always get consistent attention, movement, and care, never rushed or squeezed into a busy schedule. I provide a calm, structured environment that helps dogs feel comfortable the moment they arrive. My home in Fair Oaks has a large, fenced yard with plenty of safe space to explore. Outdoor time is always supervised, gates stay secured, and I keep clear routines for feeding, play, and rest so dogs settle in smoothly. We have two friendly dogs of our own, a Papillon and a Min Pin/Jack Russell mix, who enjoy having new companions around. They’re social, well-behaved, and help create an easygoing atmosphere for visiting pups. If a dog prefers their own space, I can separate areas to make sure everyone feels relaxed. For boarding in my home, I do require that dogs are potty trained. If you’re still working on potty training, I’m more than happy to support that process in your home. I’m also comfortable with crate routines, senior care, medication reminders, and maintaining whatever structure your dog is used to. As a father and longtime pet owner, safety and communication are top priorities, I send photo updates and check-ins so you always feel connected while you’re away.
“Our dog Baxter hasn’t been to doggy day care for a couple of years, so he had extra anxiety on top of his normal separation anxiety. Cliff allowed us to meet up the day prior to ensure that Baxter would be comfortable in the environment, which included a cat. The visit was a success. Cliff had a room dedicated to the animals and a beautiful backyard with vibrant green grass, which Baxter loved. Cliff was very friendly and seemed like a natural with dogs. This made us feel good about leaving Baxter with him for doggy day care the next day. When we dropped Baxter off, he acted shy at first, hesitant to approach and sticking close to us, but he looked very happy at pick-up, wagging his tail and greeting us with excitement. Cliff sent a photo and update about Baxter's visit. Baxter usually needs several visits to trust new people. Cliff patiently gave him space as he introduced and welcomed him to the pack, making the experience feel calm and positive for Baxter. We highly recommend Cliff, and will be using his services in the future.”

“Olesia was wonderful. We dropped off our dog for around 6 hours and she was very communicative. She sent lots of photos and our dog was very happy to stay with her. Would definitely use Olesia again!”

About: I've had pet dogs my entire life, but as an adult I've personally adopted 2 dogs and a cat of my own. I have cared for pets at every stage of their life. I'm a freelance digital artist so my availability is open. I don't do artwork outside of my home, however. If I'm working for you that has my full attention. In my home I have a pool. My pug can swim but I'm still always outside when she is. Im very attentive when I take on responsibilities. My house is spacious and we are open to crating. Our pets sleep inside with us.

About: Every day spent in the company of dogs is a perfect day. I offer private, one-dog* boarding with loving & attentive care - a great fit for dogs who enjoy walks, outdoor time, and a quiet place to settle. I care for one dog at a time (*two dogs if from the same home), allowing for lots of attention and a rhythm that best suits them. More than simply a safe place to board your dog, days here are filled with play, fresh air, outdoor exploration & exercise - just as I've always done with my own dogs. Even sensitive or anxious dogs settle in as if they’re on their own little vacation, returning home relaxed, happy, and wonderfully tired. I work part-time from home so dogs always stay within eyesight and enjoy a balance of outdoor activity and quiet downtime, with their safety as my first priority. My days are structured around the dogs in my care. Our days are a combination of outdoor time at our 30-acre park and quiet time at home. Dogs are in my company throughout the day and rarely out of eyesight. Having fostered and rescued dogs for many years, my home is very dog centric. The property sits beside a quiet 15-acre park. It’s a peaceful place with lots of birds and squirrels to watch from the patio. I’m experienced reading dog behavior and adjusting to their comfort level so whether on-leash at the park, resting, playing with me or their enrichment toys, dogs continue to stay within eyesight throughout throughout their visit.

I respect your space, keep things clean, and make sure your pet stays in their normal routine where they feel most comfortable.

“McKenzi was the primary walker for my sweet girl, Olivia, for over a year and she was by far the most reliable walker that I had. She is amazing at communicating well in advance when she isn’t able to walk her so I can plan accordingly. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a walker, you won’t regret picking her!!!”

About: I’ve been a pet owner/carer since, well, birth. Growing up in a rural setting, I cared for dogs, cats, pigs, ducks, sheep, and even fostered a hawk! Friends and family have long called me the baby and dog whisperer, because not only do they gravitate to me, I’m a pro at getting them to rest and relax. I’m currently a dog mom to Bonny, the chillest 13-year old terrier/chihuahua mix that’s ever existed. 🐶 I’ve also owned highly reactive dogs and am skilled at keeping them safe and feeling secure. A former (human) first aid/CPR trainer, I’m currently enrolled to receive my pet first aid/CPR certification. **PLEASE NOTE: Bonny, will *always* be present during boarding and will need to accompany me for housesitting stays. She gets along well with (and mostly ignores) other dogs and cats, but we need to ensure it’s a good fit for all the fur kids! For this reason, I cannot book requests without a prior meet and greet. For drop-ins or walks, let’s chat about whether or not your pup or cat would enjoy her company.** Thanks for your ongoing support. We can’t wait to meet you and your fur kids! As a brand and marketing consultant, I work from home and can maintain a flexible schedule that meets your and your pet’s needs. I prefer walking dogs during cool morning or evening hours for their own health considerations. If walking during the heat of the day, I do require pet owners to provide their pet with safety shoes or have access to a non-concrete or asphalt walking route. When boarding or pet-sitting in your home, your pet will have the company of my 13-year old female dog, Bonny, who is non-reactive to dogs and cats. For daily walks, your pet will be alone with me, unless we’ve discussed and agreed that having Bonny walk with them is your preference.

I’ve clipped nails, given pills and even shots when needed. I love all cats and dogs. . I am retired so I can easily schedule your pet into my daily routine. I'm available Monday through Sunday, whenever you have a need for me.. I will come to your home and care for your pets needs while you're away. I will clean in and around litter boxes and walk your dog. I’ll feed, water and give all of your fur babies love.
About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember as I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. I currently have a Doberman who needs constant care for his heart so I’m used to giving medications if necessary. I have also volunteered at animal shelters and zoos, so I am familiar on how to interact with animals in a way that respects both me and the animal I am tending to. I am available after 5pm Tuesdays, after 2:30 Wednesday/Friday/Sundays, and all day Thursday/Saturdays. Fridays and weekends may vary if I’m out of town or busy, etc. I care for pets in my clients home the same way that I would my own pets, and that is however they require me to care for them.

“Left my 2 year old German Shepard puppy with this family for about a week while we went on a cruise. I am incredibly grateful to of found such a fun household to look after her. They sent us photos of her cuddling and taking walks, the updates were lovely. And when we picked her up she was exhausted, which was great for us. We can tell she had a lot of fun while we were on our trip and will definitely book them in the future!”

“Nancy took amazing care of my senior dog Abbey for a week while we were out of town. She took her on frequent walks, and gave her lots of attention. We got photo and video updates of how Abbey was doing. We felt like Abbey was in great hands while we were gone. Would definitely have Nancy take care of our dog again.”

“Johnna and her family were wonderful with my Kai. He seemed very happy and well taken care of during the week long boarding stay. She was great about providing photos and updates daily, and taking him on little adventures.”

“Darlene took great care of our pup while we were out of town. She did a good job of making our shy dog comfortable and got him to warm up to her super quickly! I received lots of pictures and updates during his stay and it was obvious that he was having a great time with Darlene.”

“Erin and Devin were great with our pups Rhea and Poe. They gave us daily video and pictures while they were there. Both dogs have been sleeping since we picked them up, they must have had such a great time! Erin and Devin's home is perfect for your dogs, the pool was amazing, my Labrador loved it! if we need a sitter again before we move, we will certainly use them again!”

“Basil had a wonderful time with Victoria and her family! We were sent lots of pictures while we were away for the weekend. We will definitely rebook with Victoria in the future.”

“Wow—what a fantastic sitter! Galady communicates beautifully, letting me know my pup is good, sends pictures of what she’s doing, and puts my mind at ease.

“Very pleased with ease of communication, Sarah was accommodating with my lack of transportation to get my dog to their place and back to mine. Would love to have her take care of my dog again if schedules allow.”

“Cliff was Awesome, very clear since the meet and greet, excellent communication, great with my dog, easy to work with, flexible and sent me pics for the activities he did with my boxer while with his care. Responsible and highly recommended, definitely I will trust my boy to Cliff again.”

“Juan did an amazing job of taking care of our pooch, he’s a very kind gentleman, and he took great care of our dog. He took her own long walks and provided photographs of her being her silly self. He also followed the schedule very well, so I recommend him highly to anybody looking to board their dog. He is a great guy and will take great care of your animals. Thank you.”

“Greg is a natural… he took great care of our 16 year old dog - lots of walks and extra attention. He was also super consistent about giving us updates with pictures and info. Glad we found him and won’t hesitate to call on him again. Thanks Greg!!!”

“Absolutely Wonderful Dog Sitter! We couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing care our dog Chewy received. From the start, it was clear that she genuinely cared about his well-being. Chewy was feeling down and wasn’t eating much, which had us worried. Not only did she keep us updated with regular photos and messages, but she also went the extra mile by asking if she could cook him some liver to mix with his food to help encourage him to eat. Thanks to her kindness and attentiveness, Chewy perked up by the third day—he was running around and playing again! It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was in such loving and capable hands. We felt like she treated Chewy as if he were her own dog. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who truly goes above and beyond!”

“We are SO happy we found Lydia for Jack, our 3.5 year old lab! She's the BEST! We were out of town for a week, and hated to leave him that long, but as soon as we met her, I knew we were in the right place. Our dog tends to be anxious when we are gone, and she understood that and even slept with him so he would be more comfortable! Her house and yard are very dog friendly, and she treated him like one of the family...we appreciated the updates and photos all week, and when our flight home was cancelled, she was so gracious to let him stay an extra night on very short notice. We are very grateful to her and hope shes available when we need to be out of town again, many thanks Lydia!”
