About: My family has had two cats since I was born. I love taking care of them, playing with them and snuggling with them. I owned a Guinea pig for many years and he was well taken care of. I have grown up around small and medium sized dogs and have been a dog sitter for friends and family. I have fed both cats and dogs, taken dogs on walks and taken care of whatever they might need. I will take care of your pet as if it is my own! I am a full-time college student, so I have a flexible schedule Monday- Sunday and most holidays. I am willing to work with you to find a time that works for you! If you are a new client I am more than willing to schedule a meet and greet so that I know how best to take care of your pet. I am more than capable of providing any service your pet might need and will ensure that your pet is happy and healthy when you return!

About: Since I was a small child, I have had numerous family dogs and otherwise, all of which have helped me develop a deep understanding of love, care, and joy. Each dog I meet leaves a mark on me, and I truly value that. Recently, I left my career in Civil Engineering to pursue my love for dogs and all animals - which has brought me to my most recent job and passion of working at a kennel. I only wish to continue this new journey by helping/assisting/caring for even more animals, which brings me to Rover! I am currently working part-time (25-35 hours per week) at a kennel. I have 3-4 spare days each week - in which I hope to incorporate extra care work into my schedule, which brings me to Rover. I am comfortable with both on leash and off leash care, and am comfortable with all sizes of dogs. In my home, my dog has always been the priority in my day to day. Ensuring good health, a positive atmosphere, and the ability to show them/allow them to live their life to the fullest. I value safety incredibly, and I am confident in my abilities to build trust with any and all dogs - given the necessary time and comfortability.

About: I have cared for pets for almost 6 years, ranging from pet sitting to caring for dogs while working at my local grooming facility. I also frequently volunteer at Cape Ann Animal Aid in their cat wing caring for the shelter cats. I have fed, cleaned, and walked dogs. I am also experienced in veterinary care including administering medications and being certified in FearFree, Pet first aid, Pet CPR, and more. I fully dedicate my time to your pets, and I am able to take them to dog parks, beaches, anything that’ll allow them to socialize and get proper exercise! When you are gone I would do anything and everything to make your pet feel as comfortable as they can, as well as keeping up with their current routine. I am experienced in dogs/cats that are very anxious, whether that means shy towards humans/dogs, afraid of loud noises, reactivity, etc. Due to my veterinary background and personal experience, I am fully capable of administering medications including daily or preventatives. (Oral, topical, etc) I am currently working part-time, but I am fully free on days that I am not working. I am available after 11am and before 8pm. I am available on weekdays and weekends, as well as some holidays. I am a college student, so I am only available over the summer, winter, and spring when I am home for breaks. I am currently unable to care for pets in my own home at this time due to the temperament of my pets, however I can care for pets in clients homes. I am familiar with using crates, basic obedience training, and petsitting dogs and cats including feeding, cleaning, playing, and walking the dog.

“We had a great experience with Josselyn! She watched our year and a half old husky while we were at work and kept us updated throughout the day. She was very attentive to his potty training needs, took him out often, and took him on a long walk to help get his energy out. She even brought him a special treat after checking with us about allergies, which we really appreciated. He was clearly well cared for, and she will definitely be our go-to sitter!”

I currently have a flexible schedule with significant time off through mid-late May, so I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, or just a reliable check-in, I’d love to help! I currently have a flexible schedule and am excited to dedicate time to pet care! From April 4–April 19, I’m on spring break with no commitments and have full availability. From April 20–May 6, I have daytime commitments (9am–5pm), but I’m still available for morning, evening, and weekend care—with full availability on May 1. I’m completely available again from May 7–May 13 and May 18–May 20 for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I live in a four-story home with a large porch and a fully fenced-in grass area, providing a secure space for fresh air and quick outdoor breaks. I’m within walking distance of several small parks for regular potty breaks, and Schenley Park is nearby for longer walks and more active outings. I tailor activity levels to each pet’s needs, whether that means energetic playtime or a slower, relaxed pace. In clients’ homes, I’m respectful, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s routine to ensure they feel comfortable and stress-free. I’m happy to follow specific instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, or crate training if needed. I also have a car and can transport pets if needed—for example, to parks, appointments, or other preferred locations.
