“Lindsay was great!! I didn’t worry about a thing all weekend and knew that our dogs were in great hands. She updated us after every visit and sent the cutest pictures! Highly recommended!”

“Jordyn was extremely easy to work with and understanding when circumstance changed. Wish we’d been able to complete our reservation with her as scheduled, but again, appreciate her humanity and understanding when we needed to cancel. Round recommend Jordyn to be others, wholeheartedly.”

About: I’m Sofie! New to Rover 🐾 I’ve been pet & house sitting (also babysitting) for a few years on my own and I’d love to meet your fur babies as well! Being around animals is a big part of my life. I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, chickens, horses, sheep, and more!! 😂🐾💕 I can work around your needs, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I work part time as a behavior technician and have a flexible schedule. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family member. I share my life with my cat, Diego, and my dachshund, Leo, who keep me laughing every day. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, respect your instructions, and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while they’re in my care.

About: I worked at the Ipswich Animal Shelter for 6 years and have extensive experience caring for animals of all ages. I’ve always owned cats, from kittens to seniors, and am very comfortable caring for cats of all ages and temperaments! I’ve also lived with dogs throughout my life and have cared for friends’ and relatives’ pets while they were away. My experience includes walking, feeding, bathing, and administering medications for both dogs and cats when needed. I’m a huge animal lover and treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently have open availability Monday through Friday, which gives me the flexibility to prioritize pet care throughout the week, including walks, visits, and in-home sitting. I’m also able to accommodate weekends when needed with advanced notice. I always care for pets as if they were my own and consistently follow their established routines as closely as possible! In a client’s home, I make sure feeding, walks, litter boxes, playtime, and any medications are handled on schedule, while also keeping their environment clean, calm, and comfortable. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means giving dogs plenty of exercise and enrichment or providing cats with patience, quiet time, and space to adjust at their own pace. I also prioritize communication with pet parents and provide updates so they feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

“Shawna is a genuinely caring person who really took the time to understand what my cat (and I) wanted from her. Communication was excellent. I would not hesitate to book with her again.”
“Sophia was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our cats — they were happy, relaxed, and clearly loved her. She was also incredibly thoughtful and respectful of our home, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our girls were in such good hands. 10/10 recommend! 🐾💛”

About: I've loved 3 dogs well into their old age over the last decade. I have always had a love for animals and have been blessed to be able to care for so many over the years. I understand how hard it is to leave them behind while on vacation, or worry about them while you're at work. I would feel better knowing someone like me was around to care for my friends when I'm not. Cash discount! I work from home Mondays and Fridays and am free on the weekends. I also only work until 3pm. This schedule leaves me plenty of time to care for my own fur friend, and yours! I have a modestly sized apartment that is very welcoming to furry pets. There's lots of grassy space for sniffing around outside and long walks.
“Henry is so amazing! My dog is fearful and tends to growl and look scary and he was confident, calm, and able to help get my dog to go outside. I appreciate him jumping in in short notice to take care of my two dogs. He did a great job. I plan to use him anytime in the future that I need a dog sitter.”

About: I have cared for pets for almost 6 years, ranging from pet sitting to caring for dogs while working at my local grooming facility. I also frequently volunteer at Cape Ann Animal Aid in their cat wing caring for the shelter cats. I have fed, cleaned, and walked dogs. I am also experienced in veterinary care including administering medications and being certified in FearFree, Pet first aid, Pet CPR, and more. I fully dedicate my time to your pets, and I am able to take them to dog parks, beaches, anything that’ll allow them to socialize and get proper exercise! When you are gone I would do anything and everything to make your pet feel as comfortable as they can, as well as keeping up with their current routine. I am experienced in dogs/cats that are very anxious, whether that means shy towards humans/dogs, afraid of loud noises, reactivity, etc. Due to my veterinary background and personal experience, I am fully capable of administering medications including daily or preventatives. (Oral, topical, etc) I am currently working part-time, but I am fully free on days that I am not working. I am available after 11am and before 8pm. I am available on weekdays and weekends, as well as some holidays. I am a college student, so I am only available over the summer, winter, and spring when I am home for breaks. I am currently unable to care for pets in my own home at this time due to the temperament of my pets, however I can care for pets in clients homes. I am familiar with using crates, basic obedience training, and petsitting dogs and cats including feeding, cleaning, playing, and walking the dog.
“Kerry is a star! Our first time using Rover, and we were a little nervous to leave our kitties for a whole week. She was a great communicator, sent lots of pics and gave our cats lots of love. Highly recommend!”

About: I can take your dog on a short walk or can take your dog on longer walks such as hiking or going to the beach where they will get lots of exercise and/or socialization if needed. You won’t have to worry if your furry companion is lonely or bored when they are in my care! I love getting to know each individual dog and will cater to their specific needs. I have previous experience house sitting, dog walking, and making drop-in visits from my own business I started. I have a B.S. in Equine Studies, which has given me knowledge of basic small and large animal health, nutrition, diseases, and care. I have my own 2 year old Lab mix named Rory so dealing with puppies or energetic dogs is no problem for me! I can also provide longer visits at the home for those families who are away long periods of time during the day and want their furry friends to have a few hours of socialization. I offer this at a specialized rate, for about 2-3 hours at a time.
About: Hi there! My name is Sam and I am a dog lover looking for more dogs to love on. My husband Eric and I have a very sleepy Pyrenees who we are always looking to introduce to more friends! I love getting to hang with all types of dogs whether it’s walking, playing, or having them stay with us. I’ve cared for elderly dogs, puppies, and everything in between for the last 10 years. Can’t wait to meet you soon! Since covid, I am work from home most of the day and would love an extra furry friend or two to get me out of the house. Because I am work from home, I’m very flexible on walks, day cares, and much more! I love going to the dog parks around town and would be more than happy to take your baby there as well. We have a large fenced in yard to keep your fur baby busy. Not the athletic type? Great! We have a big couch and lots of comfy spots for them to laze around in.
“Collette is the best. She responds quickly to requests and is always willing to help. She has taken such great care of our french bulldog and we would never hesitate to hire her again! She leaves great notes and pictures, especially when she thinks our pup is having an “off” day. You can tell she really enjoys working with pets.”

“Beth cared for our kitties while we were away and did everything we asked. Our shy cat even warmed up to her. You can tell she is an animal lover! Looking forward to having her cat-sit in the future.”

“We’re always a but worried leaving our furry friends behind when we travel. But Jessica kept our worries at bay, and did an excellent job looking after our kitties! She provided updates each day and was even able to get our shy kitties to open up to her! We’ll definitely book again and are so grateful for all of her help!”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 18, and I’ve grown up with dogs all of my life. I am also working as a vet technician!
