“Lindsay is very welcoming and kind. She is experienced caring for dogs and even fosters dogs who need temporary homes. She sent updates and pictures, and our dog returned home happy and healthy after a week in her care.”

“Ari was very caring and communicative while caring for our pup for the first time. She was attune to Hazel’s needs and went above and beyond playing and caring for her. We will definitely be booking with Ari again!”

“I looked many hours for the right family to leave our Westie, Piper, with during a trip to Europe. When I met Donna and Roland at their home in Newbury, I felt so good about their experienced background with dogs. They advertised that they would allow a small dog to sleep in their bed which is what Piper is use to so this was another perk for Piper. Their home is very dog friendly and I loved the way they decorated it, inside and outside. Piper needed some extra meds while we were away and they followed all the instructions for her. When we picked her up, she was very relaxed and we knew she had a good vacation away from home. (Previously, we had people stay with her at our home.) She got to visit with another dog and a cat that lives with Donna and Roland, walked places that she had never walked before with Roland and was lovingly cared for by them. It was so good to see her so happy and content when we arrived to take her home. We will continue to book with Donna from now on and are so grateful for people like them who love her as we do. A+ to a wonderful care-free experience !!!”
“Rebecca and her daughter did a phenomenal job with Mac! We loved getting photos while they were watching him. We will definitely reach out again if we need a dog sitter when coming into town visiting family! Thanks again!”

“As usual, Lori was a gem. Alex found a new girlfriend while at Lori's this time, and met up with new and old friends. Getting updates and pictures while we were away gave us the comfort of knowing that Alex was happy and was being well cared for. Lori is the only person we leave Alex with on Rover. I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone. Thanks again Lori.... and Alex thanks you. Ester & Larry Butler”

“Bean, our 13 year old pug, had a great stay with Gienna! We got lots of updates/photos and all communication was excellent. We appreciated how much extra patience and love she gave our little old pug.”

“Phydeau stayed for two nights. He’s old and had much medical care involved in his stay including pills and ear care which was all attended to so well. He came home happy and well cared for. He loves going to Michael’s!”
“David and his family were fantastic hosts to our pup - we cannot recommend them highly enough! They were responsive during the booking process and continued with consistent communication throughout Vega's stay. The level of care and attention being paid to Vega was immediately obvious due to the updates and observations we received each night. Our dog has a bit of anxiety, especially during longer stays away, and David was on-point about noticing changes in her behavior and asking questions when necessary. Barring a scheduling conflict there's no other family we'd even consider having Vega stay with.”

“Andre was great with Luna ! Kept great contact with videos. She was walked for hours a day. When I picked her up she ate and crashed out. She was clearly tired. I will definitely use Andre again!!!🐆”

“Samantha was great with both me and my dog. This was my first Rover booking and she and her husband were super accommodating and took great care of Della: taking her on walks, making sure the cats stayed away and giving her cuddle time (with kids❤️). Would book again if i was in the area.”

“Jennifer was a wonderful care taker for our dog. She was patient and kind. Kept us updated on a longer stay. We will definitely use her services again. Thank you.”

“Bob was so friendly to us humans, but more importantly he was very sweet with our puppy dachshund. Since she is a puppy, she's can be quite demanding of attention, and Bob took really good care of her. She went for several walks, napped at his side, and was very well-entertained. I felt very happy, knowing my pup was in such loving and attentive care.”
“This was our first long term boarding with Julie S. and it could not have gone better. Julie and her family were so attentive and loving towards Benji. The daily reports and pictures were very reassuring. There’s nothing more welcome than feeling like your pet is in good hands while you’re away.”

“Mike was really kind and communicative, he made sure to check in with us throughout our trip. It was nice knowing that ruckus was being cared for as if he was one of theirs!”

“Otis had a great time with Jade! He came home happy and exhausted which was awesome. Jade was very responsive and you can tell she cares for all her doggie guests like they are her own.”

“Paul and Megan were absolutely wonderful with my dog Gus. As an anxious rescue dog, he can be hesitant in new situations and around new people, but they showed so much patience, kindness, and understanding that he quickly seemed to feel at ease with them. I’m incredibly grateful for the love and attention they gave him and would highly recommend them to anyone!”

“Natali was great! She watched my pooch for me last minute and ensured he was comfortable and well taken care of after being neutered a few days prior. Would definitely recommend and book her again!”

“Kathy was really great with my two dogs who really have never stayed anywhere other than families homes..... She kept in touch regularly and I picked up two very happy dogs! Highly recommend”

“Collette took excellent care of my two cats, one of whom requires medication (in pill form) twice daily. She watched them for a full week making two visits a day and keeping me informed of how they were doing and was up front with any issues that arose.”

“Wiktoria did a great job with Bentley. He loved having her hanging out with him for an hour. We are so glad to have found her. We will definitely use Wiktoria again!”

About: I’ve owned cats my whole life, from young kittens to geriatric cats, and I’m very comfortable with all aspects of their daily care. I also have experience administering medications and providing special care when needed. I understand that every cat has a different personality, and I’m always happy to take the time to build trust at their own pace while giving them the patience and attention they need to feel safe and comfortable. As a huge cat lover, my top priority is always making sure every pet feels happy, safe, and comfortable in my care.

About: I have cared for cats for almost 6 years through short-term petsitting and extended periods. I have cared for cats of neighbors, family members, as well as those in my community. These cats include kittens ranging to seniors, as well as different behaviors. I also have veterinary knowledge and I am trained in FearFree, Pet First aid, and Pet CPR. My background in the veterinary field and personal experience means that I am also capable of administering any medications including daily medications or preventatives. (Oral, topical, etc)
“Kerry is a star! Our first time using Rover, and we were a little nervous to leave our kitties for a whole week. She was a great communicator, sent lots of pics and gave our cats lots of love. Highly recommend!”

About: I have worked at a cat boarding facility for the better part of five years. I have many pets and experience with the following; medicine administration, injecting insulin, monitoring the cats’ health and appetite, cleaning, and making sure each and every cat got the adequate attention they needed. In addition to this I have also pet sat for dogs and cats for years. Most of customers were regulars and I got to get to know each animal very well. I have also had both a dog and a cat my whole life, so I know what it is like to not only constantly care for a pet, but also love and worry about them, which is why I take such pride in ensuring my customers have complete peace knowing I will care for their pets! I am a college student and am available most afternoons, but have more freedoms Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the weekends. My schedule can be very flexible though. My main concern in caring for pets is their health and safety. I will always make sure they are doing well and have all the care they need in that aspect. I also will make sure they are happy and receiving the attention from me they need. I will always follow any and all instructions left on caring for pets.

“Vanessa was amazing from the start -- she was communicative, send some excellent photos of Momo and is clearly his new best friend. During a very busy weekend, I wasn't worried about Momo at all and so will absolutely be booking with Vanessa for anything in the future.”

“Elizabeth provided great care for our cat. She was thoughtful and efficient with communication. Would recommend her and plan on utilizing her again in the future.”

“Booked Mirellys again and once again she was great. Chowder was thrilled to see her and came home tired and happy. Consistent, reliable, and clearly a favorite of his. Wouldn't book anyone else.”

“Crystal did a wonderful job taking care of our two Australian shepherds, Aspen and Mordi. The boys were pooped by the time they got back and seemed like they had an absolute blast. Our one boy has epilepsy and needed to be pilled during their stay which occured flawlessly. We come to the area yearly and will be using Crystal again!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for approximately 4 years; most recently having gained experience with energetic, adorable puppies having welcomed Prince into our home. He has brought so much joy to me and my three boys! I currently work from home and am awake by 6 AM with my puppy. I have an office set up with toys, beds and crates. We take frequent potty, play breaks and walks. I have a fenced in back yard where the dogs can play if desired. I have a fenced in yard and downstairs area of my home that have been dog proofed. I have crates for smaller and larger sized dogs and have crate trained my own fur baby who loves to have company.

“Jade watched my two pups with very different needs (one is small, 15 years old; the other is 1.5 yo husky mix) for the day as we were going through town on a road trip. We needed somewhere for the pups to be while we did a non-dog friendly day. Jade was super responsive and accommodating. The dogs happily walked off with her without any hesitation (I trust them to read the situation). She asked good questions about their care, entertained the pup during the day by introducing her to a doggy walking pad inside since it was extremely hot out. She also quickly and easily accommodated an earlier pick up when we finished up early. While we aren’t local to use her again, I would do it if the need arises. Much better than a kennel! Pups were happy when we picked up.”

“Diaralyz and her family took such good care of our puppy! He got to interact and socialize properly and the best part was receiving pictures and videos of him playing and living his best life. We highly recommend Diaralyz and we will be coming again with our little dog.”

About: I treat every animal exactly as if they were my own. With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses, my background is deeply rooted in animal welfare. Growing up in Maryland, I volunteered at a local animal rescue, interned with an equine veterinary clinic, and served as a volunteer and instructor in equine therapy. I am still an avid equestrian today, and this lifelong dedication to animals has shaped my approach to pet care: I am incredibly detail-oriented, highly observant, and bring infinite patience to every animal's unique needs. I grew up surrounded by large dogs—including three wonderful Labradors—as well as multiple cats. Recently, my husband, Johnny, and I moved to Marblehead, where we share our home with our two sweet cats, Ozzy and Willis. “Millie had the best time at Fae and Joseph's! Great dogs to play with and a set up with the safety and happiness of dogs in mind. Couldn't ask for anything more.”

“Natali took such great care of our 11 month old puppy during his first overnight stay away from home. She was patient, communicative, and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Even though he was a little nervous from being in a new environment, she was incredibly understanding and attentive to his needs. We could tell he was well cared for and had a great time with Natali and Rocko. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

I love seeing pictures from their outings and walks! Luca is always excited to see them when I drop him off! As a new puppy mom I was nervous to leave him with anyone but Julie and her family made me feel so at ease. Would 10/10 recommend their services!”

“Jessica was great! This was Luna's first time with a dog walker and I wasn't sure how it'd go. It was also cold and rainy out which usually means Luna is hesitant to walk. But Jessica was able to get her to poop and pee and everything went smoothly.”

“Freddi was a fantastic sitter for my dog, Edie! She sent great photos and updates during her stay. We definitely would recommend Freddi and hope to have Edie stay again in the future!”

“Our dog Eevee had such a good time staying here and playing with Igo. Wonderful to get updates on how she was doing and to see that she had a great time and lots of fresh air in the fenced backyard! Thank you for following her feeding schedule, for grooming her and brushing her teeth and taking such good care of our girl 🤗”

“Caty and her family are great. They treated Sagan like one of their own and developed a good bond with him. This was our first time leaving him with a sitter so he experienced a bit of separation anxiety but Caty and her family were very patient and helped him through it. Thank you for taking good care of our buddy.”

“Fantastic sitter! Very responsible and straightforward. Communication was smooth and clear throughout the stay, and I appreciated getting daily photo updates. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Zwany is absolutely amazing! She’s incredibly accommodating and understands what a pet parent needs to feel comfortable leaving their baby with her and her family. I did a one night trial before a longer sit later this year to make sure both Tilly and Zwany would be comfortable with each other. Tilly had a great time and fit right in. Zwany asked all the right questions before the stay to make sure it would be successful and demonstrated that she was ready for any of tillys quirks that may pop up during her visit. I got a detailed review at pick up and I could tell Tilly was happy to be there! Zwany was so knowledgeable and caring. Can’t wait for Tilly to go back!”
