“We have an older dog, and we’ve always been able to call on family and friends to care for Sully while we are away. But we found ourselves in a pinch, and Gienna (thankfully!!) had an opening in her schedule to care for Sully for a long weekend. She and her dog Maggie were so welcoming, and made Sully feel right at home. He was so comfy and was soon prancing in Gienna’s yard. We received many pictures of Sully as he was settling into their home. Gienna communicated well and administered Sully’s meds as we needed. What a find for us and Sully! Gienna enjoyed caring for our little man and we are so happy that he had a great experience.”

We also did one test day before the longer stay and after that one day I knew Natasha and Jonathan were a great fit. Both times when I’ve picked her up she’s been happy and calm and very tired out from all the walks and playing. About: I have two cats, lily and Iris and they are my babies! I also spent a year dog sitting two sweet girl dogs in my neighborhood. I love spending time outside and getting my steps in, so taking dogs on walks is something I really enjoy! I’m a very caring person and understand that not every dog or cat is the same! They all have special quirks and things they enjoy and I love being able to cater to that and make sure they feel happy and safe. I am entering my final year of grad school and am looking to work this summer and sometimes during the year! I work at my internship during Monday’s and Wednesday’s. I can do drop ins a few times throughout the day :) When I’ve dog sat I enjoy mainly to spend the sunny days outside with a fenced yard so that they are free to get fresh air. When inside I like the pet to be in my site range in case they need to go to the bathroom or are about to either eat or get into something they aren’t supposed to. I have taken a cat outside one time and he had been on a leash within a fenced yard. My own two cats are indoor, though when it’s nice I open a window or door that is screened for them to look outside. I do not believe in using spray to punish or train cats. I think electric collars can sometimes help with keeping a dog in the yard but not always necessary. I am very alert on walks and accommodating play time outside with the weather changes.

I’m currently in college with large breaks between classes, giving me plenty of flexible time to spend caring for and hanging out with your dog. My neighbors have very friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. But in the clients home, I am able to crate the dog if needed.
About: I had 9 wonderful years as a Dog Mom, and currently work at a doggy daycare, where I get to spend my days grooming and giving lots of love to lots of pups! My home is located right next to a beach, as well as many walking paths and great places to take your pup on an adventure! If your pooch is a lounge lizard and prefers to sit on the couch and watch reruns of Friends, I’m your gal! I also have experience administering medications to dogs that require it. I could tell Luna was having the absolute best time and I was able to have a good vacation because I knew Luna was being well taken care of. We also did one test day before the longer stay and after that one day I knew Natasha and Jonathan were a great fit.
