About: I worked at the Ipswich Animal Shelter for 6 years and have extensive experience caring for animals of all ages. I’ve always owned cats, from kittens to seniors, and am very comfortable caring for cats of all ages and temperaments! I’ve also lived with dogs throughout my life and have cared for friends’ and relatives’ pets while they were away. My experience includes walking, feeding, bathing, and administering medications for both dogs and cats when needed. I’m a huge animal lover and treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently have open availability Monday through Friday, which gives me the flexibility to prioritize pet care throughout the week, including walks, visits, and in-home sitting. I’m also able to accommodate weekends when needed with advanced notice. I always care for pets as if they were my own and consistently follow their established routines as closely as possible! In a client’s home, I make sure feeding, walks, litter boxes, playtime, and any medications are handled on schedule, while also keeping their environment clean, calm, and comfortable. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means giving dogs plenty of exercise and enrichment or providing cats with patience, quiet time, and space to adjust at their own pace. I also prioritize communication with pet parents and provide updates so they feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

About: Experienced dog-owner, trainer of former AKC and Westminister champion, I have a unique background in caring for pets. Plus, my 13-year-old son and I are quite active. Places your pet will enjoy off or on leash may include: Crane's Beach, Wingarsheek Beach, Good Harbor Beach, Appleton Farms, Willowdale State Park, Plum Island, Maudsley State Park. Depending upon your dog's preference's and obedience/recall level, I can customize the time we spend together while you are out doing what you need to do. Mountain biking, hiking, swimming, a visit to Essex Coop for a treat, or, if time allows and you need someone to bring your dog to obility or agility classes, I can handle this with aplomb. And, there is plenty of cuddle time, down time we can work into the schedule too. Looking forward to working with you and your fur baby! About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I remember. I grew up with a Newfoundland and a Collie; meaning I have lots of experience with high energy pups as well as mellow ones. I’ve dog sat for neighbors on and off for 3+ years. Will shower your dog with love! I work part time at a restaurant, meaning I’ll definitely have time to fit your dogs needs into my schedule! With work hours, it may be difficult to fit into specific times, but I can accommodate the best that I can. Communication is key. My senior girl dog is not the friendliest with other dogs, so I would refrain from bringing any dogs back to my home. However, I will transport myself to your home and accommodate for your dogs needs/desires as best as I can!

About: I have been dog sitting since I was in middle school. Friends, family, friends of friend, and neighbors have trusted me with their furry family members. As someone who has a little pup myself, I know the care and consideration each individual animal needs and deserves. I've worked with a variety of breads, behaviors, and ages and feel equipped to ensure a safe walk, play time, or check in for your dog. Personally, I've adopted a puppy Cairn Terrier, Ruckus. I've loved training with him, creating a bond, and learning more about dog behavior. It's been a really fun journey. He's a sassy little guy. I have been off Rover for the past few years, moving around and attending Grad School. I am excited to be back to help the Essex community care for their pets. I currently work from home, full time. I have flexibility in my schedule to do walks and drop in visits for your dog. Where I can provide full and undivided attention. When I have a dog I'm looking after, I will ensure safety and fun - however that looks for your doggie. Going for a walk, playing catch in the yard, or even just laying on the couch getting some pets. Your pet will be my priority for the duration of my visit.

About: I have 5 years of professional dog experience varying from being doggy daycare assistant manager, a kennel attendant, and training apprentice. I have a lot of experience with working breeds and puppies. I have experience administering medications, dealing with reactivity and anxious dogs. I am also well versed in canine/feline nutrition! I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to care for your pup! I’m typically free all day Monday and Wednesday and most days after 2pm! I love taking dogs on trail walks and playing games like fetch with them or enrichment activities, I could also do a playdate with my dog if wanted!

About: I have cared for pets for almost 6 years, ranging from pet sitting to caring for dogs while working at my local grooming facility. I also frequently volunteer at Cape Ann Animal Aid in their cat wing caring for the shelter cats. I have fed, cleaned, and walked dogs. I am also experienced in veterinary care including administering medications and being certified in FearFree, Pet first aid, Pet CPR, and more. I fully dedicate my time to your pets, and I am able to take them to dog parks, beaches, anything that’ll allow them to socialize and get proper exercise! When you are gone I would do anything and everything to make your pet feel as comfortable as they can, as well as keeping up with their current routine. I am experienced in dogs/cats that are very anxious, whether that means shy towards humans/dogs, afraid of loud noises, reactivity, etc. Due to my veterinary background and personal experience, I am fully capable of administering medications including daily or preventatives. (Oral, topical, etc) I am currently working part-time, but I am fully free on days that I am not working. I am available after 11am and before 8pm. I am available on weekdays and weekends, as well as some holidays. I am a college student, so I am only available over the summer, winter, and spring when I am home for breaks. I am currently unable to care for pets in my own home at this time due to the temperament of my pets, however I can care for pets in clients homes. I am familiar with using crates, basic obedience training, and petsitting dogs and cats including feeding, cleaning, playing, and walking the dog.

About: Hi there! My name is Sam and I am a dog lover looking for more dogs to love on. My husband Eric and I have a very sleepy Pyrenees who we are always looking to introduce to more friends! I love getting to hang with all types of dogs whether it’s walking, playing, or having them stay with us. I’ve cared for elderly dogs, puppies, and everything in between for the last 10 years. Can’t wait to meet you soon! Since covid, I am work from home most of the day and would love an extra furry friend or two to get me out of the house. Because I am work from home, I’m very flexible on walks, day cares, and much more! I love going to the dog parks around town and would be more than happy to take your baby there as well. About: I am experienced in a wide range of animals ranging from cats and dogs to reptiles, fish and rodents. I live in a home with two huskies, two cats, two snakes and tend to multiple fish tanks in my home. I also have pet sit for a number of years in a home with 4 small dogs, one cat and two chinchillas! I also would like to note that one of the 4 dogs is handicapped and uses a wheelchair so i am familiar with handicapped pets and would be willing to learn and adapt my care however they may need. I am working part time but my hours are flexible so i am able to pet sit generally any time of the week and would be happy to discuss what times work best for you! My dogs at home have an electric fence and go out whenever they would like but also get walks in and i would be happy to take your pet on a walk. The other family i pet sit for has a fenced in yard so their dogs can also go out as they please.
