About: I worked at the Ipswich Animal Shelter for 6 years and have extensive experience caring for animals of all ages. I’ve always owned cats, from kittens to seniors, and am very comfortable caring for cats of all ages and temperaments! I’ve also lived with dogs throughout my life and have cared for friends’ and relatives’ pets while they were away. My experience includes walking, feeding, bathing, and administering medications for both dogs and cats when needed. I’m a huge animal lover and treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. About: I have two cats, lily and Iris and they are my babies! I also spent a year dog sitting two sweet girl dogs in my neighborhood. I love spending time outside and getting my steps in, so taking dogs on walks is something I really enjoy! I’m a very caring person and understand that not every dog or cat is the same! They all have special quirks and things they enjoy and I love being able to cater to that and make sure they feel happy and safe. I am entering my final year of grad school and am looking to work this summer and sometimes during the year! I work at my internship during Monday’s and Wednesday’s. I am also taking a few online courses, but I am flexible! I can do drop ins a few times throughout the day :) When I’ve dog sat I enjoy mainly to spend the sunny days outside with a fenced yard so that they are free to get fresh air. I have taken a cat outside one time and he had been on a leash within a fenced yard. My own two cats are indoor, though when it’s nice I open a window or door that is screened for them to look outside. I do not believe in using spray to punish or train cats. I think electric collars can sometimes help with keeping a dog in the yard but not always necessary. I am very alert on walks and accommodating play time outside with the weather changes.

About: I have a lot of patience for animals and I love entertaining them, whether that’s playing with them or going on a long walk. For the younger ones, or ones that just have more energy, I would love to run them and keep them in shape. I am super flexible this summer, aside from a few weeks of travel, so whatever works for you works for me. My main priority is going to the gym, but other than that I’m all yours! Tyler was wonderful! Our 2 cats have pretty basic needs, but they do not like strangers and we had never left them alone with a non-family member, so we were apprehensive about taking a week-long international trip. When we met with Tyler we emphasized that it wasn’t unexpected for him not to see the cats at all when he came by to feed them, and that he didn’t need to try to find them or stay and spend time with them if they didn’t want to come out. Imagine our surprise when we got a video from him the very first night with our big orange scaredy-cat rubbing up against him! Even our suspicious little tabby girl, who’s often skittish even around US, felt comfortable enough to walk into the kitchen and eat her food while Tyler was still there. He sent us a video or a photo or 2 each visit along with a quick update on how the cats were doing, which was perfect; we got peace of mind without distraction from our trip. We agonized for literally months over how we would arrange cat care after moving further away from our families, but now we know that we will be booking with Tyler any time we take a trip! It’s an enormous relief to have someone we can trust and that the cats actually feel comfortable with. Tyler is a lifesaver and we can’t recommend him highly enough!
