About: I have been dog sitting since I was in middle school. Friends, family, friends of friend, and neighbors have trusted me with their furry family members. As someone who has a little pup myself, I know the care and consideration each individual animal needs and deserves. About: I love being surrounded by animals and have been around pets my entire life. For a long time now, I’ve been rescuing lost dogs and helping them find safe, loving homes. Currently, I have three dogs and a cat at my country house, as well as a 10-year-old senior dog at home. When I care for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. - Walks & exercise: I match your dog’s pace and energy level whether that’s a quick potty break, a long walk playtime. - Drop-ins: I handle feeding, fresh water, litter or potty breaks and always make time for playtime and affection so your pet feels loved, not just “checked on.” - Sitting: I provide companionship, stick to your pet’s daily schedule and make sure your home is respected and cared for while you’re away. I completely understand how much trust it takes to let someone into your home. For extra peace of mind, I always encourage pet parents to use cameras if they’d like because that way you can see your pets happy and comfortable while you’re away. I also send regular updates, photos and videos so you can relax knowing your best friend is in loving hands. Just for extra reassurance, I don’t invite people into your home. The only time I ever have was for a family I’d been sitting for over many years, and I made sure to ask first—I only had my dad over for dinner because it was Thanksgiving during that stay. Aside from that, I would never invite friends or anyone else over, as I personally find that disrespectful.
About: My name is Meryn DeSimone, I am 22 and recently graduated from Elon University. I've taken care of a variety of different of animals and truly love spending time with pets! I currently have a chinchilla, Frank and a leopard gecko, Sally. My parents have two dogs also, Kip and Hammy and I have grown up with having dogs and cats around so they are second nature to me. About: I've taken care of puppies and dogs (mainly aussiedoodles) for the past few years. After I moved out, I now have an adult korat cat who I love! I work full time 9-5 monday through friday and unfortunately cannot housesit overnight on Tuesday nights. However, any other time you may need or any other day than Tuesday nights, I can do! I always try to let the animals have fun and feel like nothing has changed since. I can usually tell when an animal wants to go for a walk or play.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for most of my life - huskies, goldens, and many types of cats. I raised and house trained a wild kitten last year and love spending time out walking with my two current huskies. I’ve taken care of them through surgeries, injuries and medications. It can be difficult to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and communicative. It can be even more difficult to find someone who is all of those things AND is excellent with dogs. My family has hit the absolute jackpot with Karen’s services. Our older dog has separation anxiety, takes medication, and needs a consistent presence to be successful. We never had to doubt whether Karen could fill these needs for him, and she’s delivered every time. Our younger dog has a lot of energy and has to be let out frequently- Karen’s flexibility and home/yard are perfect to meet those needs. Karen sent us pictures and videos throughout each of my dogs’ stays and provided detailed updates as to how they are doing. We will absolutely be back again, we can’t recommend her enough! 6/5 stars!”
