About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and can’t remember a time when there wasn’t a four‑legged best friend in the house. Growing up with dogs taught me the foundations of great pet care: patience, consistency, and plenty of affection. Today, I’m a proud dog dad to my pup, Ghost. He’s energetic, loyal, and always ready for an adventure. Caring for him has deepened my understanding of canine behavior and reinforced the importance of meeting each dog’s unique needs—whether that’s long walks, playtime, structure, or just a calm presence. I’m also a big cat lover! I’ve always had a soft spot for cats and genuinely enjoy their personalities—from the playful and curious to the calm and cuddly. Whether your pet is a dog, a cat, or both, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own. I have a full time job in Higher Ed I work from 8:30 am to 4:30 PM Mon-Fri. I can work around those hours. I also have an hour for lunch which I can use for additional walks I live by a lake so if your dog loves the water they will get plenty of that! I also have lots of walking trails nearby.

About: My name is Meryn DeSimone, I am 22 and recently graduated from Elon University. I've taken care of a variety of different of animals and truly love spending time with pets! I currently have a chinchilla, Frank and a leopard gecko, Sally. My parents have two dogs also, Kip and Hammy and I have grown up with having dogs and cats around so they are second nature to me. I consider myself to be an organized and dedicated person with a big heart for animals. I would be more than happy to assist with any local pet care needs. I have plenty of time in the afternoon after my classes and I would love to spend that time going on a walk or taking care of pets! I can walk the dogs for long enough to make sure they are tired, feed them, clean up after them and even give medications or special requests that the animals would need!

About: I am experienced in a wide range of animals ranging from cats and dogs to reptiles, fish and rodents. I live in a home with two huskies, two cats, two snakes and tend to multiple fish tanks in my home. I also have pet sit for a number of years in a home with 4 small dogs, one cat and two chinchillas! I also would like to note that one of the 4 dogs is handicapped and uses a wheelchair so i am familiar with handicapped pets and would be willing to learn and adapt my care however they may need. I am working part time but my hours are flexible so i am able to pet sit generally any time of the week and would be happy to discuss what times work best for you! My dogs at home have an electric fence and go out whenever they would like but also get walks in and i would be happy to take your pet on a walk. The other family i pet sit for has a fenced in yard so their dogs can also go out as they please.

About: I had a small dog growing up from the ages of 12-22. I miss having a companion for my walks so this seems like a win for all! I have dog sat for several friends and family members over the years and am comfortable with all of the things that come with it. I’m self employed with a very flexible schedule so your pups won’t be left alone for more than a couple of hours, if at all! Lots of snuggles guaranteed! (Or awkward stares from the other side of the couch exchanged if your pup is more that speed) I’ve stayed in houses with cats as well so I can do the basics with them but would definitely consider myself more experienced with dogs! Self employed working tuesday-thursday in the summer so I have lots of flexibility especially when planning ahead! Im an early riser so morning visits are no problem for me! Weekends will be a little harder but depending one need I can probably make it work! I will respect all the rules you have and not take any liberties (i.e. if they cant have a small bite of sandwich, I wont secretly give them a bite) My dog was crate trained so I’m very comfortable with that. I will prioritize your dog’s safety and comfort and am pretty good at taking signals from them. The two dogs I typically dogsit for are both large dogs that are scaredy cats and can only walk certain routes (they aren’t brothers, just an incredible coincidence lol.) I’m very comfortable advocating for your pups if they need space/can’t be around people and will remove them from stressful situations. I’ll give them plenty of attention and love if that’s what they want, but if they just want someone nearby I’ll give them their space. Pretty much every dog in my life has been a diva so I understand the fine lines they have sometimes!

About: My name is Kristen and I am a huge animal lover. I have owned two Pugs, an Australian Shepherd, a chihuahua mix, many hamsters and two cats. I have been taking care of dogs for almost ten years because my parents have been dog sitting on Rover so I am very experienced. I can administer medicine if need be such as pills and drops. I have a lot of experience taking care of elderly dogs as my childhood Pugs grew old and needed a lot of care. I am great at communicating and will send you tons of pictures and updates. I love all of the animals as if they were my own. I am currently working part time and am able to give your dog the play time they need. I am available most weekdays and all weekend. I am not afraid of a mess if one needs to be cleaned. I will make sure your dog has all the necessities needed for them to be a happy pup.

About: I have been both a dog and cat owner for the past 20+ years. I currently do not have any pets and I am looking to help out other pet owners as they enjoy their summer travels. I find that letting the pet remain in their own home provides a higher level of ease and rest to the animal. I am timely and clean. I am flexible and able to meet any scheduling needs whether it be walks or meal times, just let me know and I am happy to accomdate. I enjoy caring for pets in their own home because it is less of a disruption their environment and routine. I can keep up any expectations and care you provide for your animal.

About: Ive taken care of my best friends dog Tucker , he is a very adorable golden retriever , and ive taken care of him by walking him, feeding him , and sleeping with him. I love giving him lots of belly rubs , cuddles , and of course kisses. Secondly Ive taken care of my boyfriends two dogs named Mabel and pebbles, they are both small dogs, and ive taken care of them by walking them , feeding them , and sleeping with them as well. Lastly I love dogs so much , I would do anything for them. Dogs love the safe calm energy that I always bring to them , which always makes me very happy because I will always give dogs the love , and tender care that they always deserve because dogs are very important , they are family! Im currently working part time right now , so I will have plenty of time to play with lots of dogs , and of course puppies!! Which im very very excited about. Near my complex I live around the corner from a park where I would take my old dog. I can take your dog to a park so that your dog can socialize with other dogs , puppies , etc (if requested). Lastly I will make sure that your dog will be on a leash the whole time , and to make sure that your loving dog will have plenty of water no matter where we are.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs in the house from little Poodles to Great Danes. While in college my roommate got a dog for the house and we all pitched in. I also took time to foster dogs in the area will they found their forever homes! I am currently in nursing school part time, so I have a lot of time on my hands to care for your doggy’s. About: 10 years of hands-on animal care experience I provide reliable compassionate care for dogs all breeds and sizes. Creating a loving environment while you’re away. I currently work driving a doggy daycare bus, which leaves me plenty of time in between to take care of any furry friends. I am available early morning, between the hours of 11 and 130 and then available for late afternoon after 3:30 for evening walks, feedings, etc.. I will come to your home and if you’re comfortable, I can spend the night. Making sure everybody gets fed. I have no problem with giving medication. I was a vet tech at one point so very adapt with all animals no matter what their situation is or their dietary restrictions. i’ll even water your plants if necessary.
