About: I have always had pets growing up. I currently have three cats and four dogs. I have experience watching both cats and dogs and would love to watch your pets too! I am currently available most days of the week. I work part time nights at a restaurant. On the days I work I am still available to watch/walk your pets before and after my shift. I can watch your cats or dogs whenever I am needed. I have done lots of dog walking in the past and am comfortable with any kind of dog. I would be happy to play with your dogs outside, take them for walks, and even just keep them company.
“Kristen helped walk my dog while I recovered from surgery and she is the best! She is very communicative and kind, and so good with dogs. I highly recommend her!”

“Jennifer is so wonderful with my boys. She is great with communicating. Plus it’s all the little extra added care that she gives, treats when she comes in, wipes them down when wet, evening going as far as covering the couch so they wouldn’t make a mess. Couldn’t recommend more”

“Chelsea did a great job in exigent circumstances — signing up at the last minute, meeting Coco for the first time, and gaining Coco’s confidence to run and play off leash to wear her out. Thanks, Chelsea!”

“This was our first time using Rover and Lindsay was great! She arrived on time, sent pictures during her visit and took great care of our puppy. We will definitely book again!”

“Great communication - messaged me when he was 5 minutes away, and again after he actually got my anxious pup to walk away from the house so I knew she was doing ok. Would definitely book again when my regular walker isn't available!”

“Grace was our first Rover experience and she was so great! I trusted her completely with our dog. She is kind, friendly, quick to respond, and so sweet with the pup. We will use her again when she is home from school!”

“I just started with Laura a week ago. So far Laura and my dog are creating a wonderful bond. Laura is terrific! She is trustworthy, she has a key to my home. I love all the footage I receive whilst she’s with my large dog. I’m very impressed with Laura’s depth of knowledge in dog care. Also she is very humble in her personal accomplishments relating to human and animal communication and skills. I highly recommend Laura.”

“Walter was great and Findlay took to him right away. He monitored his energy level, a concern because of the heat and took good care of my boy. I will definitely request him again.”

About: I have had dogs most of my life and have a lot of experience caring, raising, and training dogs. I lost my most recent dog, Buddy, a few years ago. I don't have a new dog yet but would like to help dog owners with their dogs and would enjoy the companionship. I am good with dogs at all ages and activity levels. I've had a lot of great experiences with people who have taken care of my dogs in the past so I am looking forward to paying that forward by helping to care for your dog. I'm recently retired and have some flexibility during the week so I will work with you on timing. I love dogs and understand the need for day-time dog care. I am happy to help with a one-time walk or check-in and would also consider caring for a dog on a regular basis. I live in Georgetown, MA and will consider jobs in the northeast part of Essex County and eastern Merrimack Valley. I can help you by visiting your home to walk, feed, or otherwise care for your dog during the day. I am patient and have a lot of experience raising and caring for dogs at all ages, from puppies to senior dogs. I am also experienced handling dogs at all activity levels. I am a dog lover and know how to read canine behavior and apply my manner and techniques to match the dog's needs.

About: Hey! I’m an elder millennial who’s had a pet of one kind or another since birth (I won’t count all that in my years of experience though!) My family currently consists of two dogs, both well-behaved, friendly rescues from the south. I currently volunteer with and foster dogs for a local animal rescue. I’m excited to meet your fur babies! While hosting at my home, I’m currently only accepting female, housebroken dogs who are good with small children and other dogs. I will be the sole caretaker for your pet, and should my children be with me, they will be properly supervised. Outside of my home, I’m happy to work with male and female dogs of all sizes and breeds. While I can’t cat sit in my home, I’m more than happy to check in on your little love in their own space. I mostly work from home, but there are a few sporadic days where I’m in the office. If your dog being alone concerns you, let’s make sure we talk specifics before we book! I work full time and have young children, so I’m often on the go. Dogs who love car rides are welcome to join us! I typically take lunch break walks during the day - I’d love to have your furry friend keeping me company! I have two friendly dogs to keep your baby company. I can easily crate if needed. I have a spare crate, but can also use yours if it’s preferred.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the age of 6. I have personally owned labs and a cockapoo. I cannot have pets in my current apartment so I am excited to spend time with your dog! I work full time Monday through Friday so I’m available for drop-ins or walks after 4:30pm. I am available all hours of the day on weekends! I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing indoors or out, bathroom breaks and crating all breeds and all size dogs. I am also comfortable with handicapped/special needs dogs.

“Robyn has been a wonderful regular dog walker. She is reliable, let’s us know in advance when she won’t be able to do our normal schedule and takes the best pictures of our pup. Anyone would be lucky to work with her!”

About: I’m Red Cross certified in Cat and Dog First Aid. I grew up with dogs and puppies. All my adult life I've had a dog and have helped friends, neighbors and family care for their dogs. I volunteer as a dog walker for homebound pet owners. I am available early on weekend mornings. Lots of people need the sleep, taking classes or doing something else and I can help out in the morning I can walk your dog and check in on your dog, too. Some dogs need more attention than others, and I am good at reading the extent and type of interaction a dog likes best!
“Angelia is so great with communication and always sends the best pictures after she walks my pup! She is extremely polite and lovely to deal with. I orginally had a consistent walker and Angelia stepped in last minute and I could not be more satisfied with her! Would love to continue to book with her in the future 😊”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
