“I’m a person who has a lot of difficulty trusting someone with my dogs- I’m very close with them. I’m positive many of the folks reading this review can say the same. It can be difficult to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and communicative. It can be even more difficult to find someone who is all of those things AND is excellent with dogs. My family has hit the absolute jackpot with Karen’s services. Our older dog has separation anxiety, takes medication, and needs a consistent presence to be successful. We never had to doubt whether Karen could fill these needs for him, and she’s delivered every time. Our younger dog has a lot of energy and has to be let out frequently- Karen’s flexibility and home/yard are perfect to meet those needs. Karen sent us pictures and videos throughout each of my dogs’ stays and provided detailed updates as to how they are doing. We will absolutely be back again, we can’t recommend her enough! 6/5 stars!”

About: I have a lot of patience for animals and I love entertaining them, whether that’s playing with them or going on a long walk. For the younger ones, or ones that just have more energy, I would love to run them and keep them in shape. I am super flexible this summer, aside from a few weeks of travel, so whatever works for you works for me. My main priority is going to the gym, but other than that I’m all yours! Whether it’s feeding, walking, brushing, playing, or simply snuggling, I’m always giving my full attention and affection. Also, I think mental stimulation is often overlooked in animal care so I try to incorporate fun games and activities.

About: I've taken care of puppies and dogs (mainly aussiedoodles) for the past few years. After I moved out, I now have an adult korat cat who I love! I work full time 9-5 monday through friday and unfortunately cannot housesit overnight on Tuesday nights. However, any other time you may need or any other day than Tuesday nights, I can do! I always try to let the animals have fun and feel like nothing has changed since. I can usually tell when an animal wants to go for a walk or play.

About: I have a weiner dog named Benny whom I raised and trained since he was a puppy. I’ve cared for puppies post-neuter/spay surgery as well as walking and caring for injured dogs. I have experience administering medication to dogs and cats. I’ve housesat for friends to care for their cats and have lived with and cared for a cat for over 3 years. I love animals and I’m passionate about their well-being and quality of life. I know every animal is unique, and needs to be approached with that in mind. I’m currently working part time in the evenings for a couple hours so I have early morning to late afternoon available. I also have availability on weekends. I’ve spent time with many different kinds of pets and I feel confident that after spending a little time with yours, I’ll understand how they want to be approached and cared for. I raised my dog since he was a puppy and took part in his training so I feel confident with dogs of any age. I’ve spent many years around cats and know their mannerisms and the quiet language that they use to communicate. I’m meticulous and careful when walking dogs since I raised mine in NYC; I understand how to keep their attention and be firm when necessary to keep them safe and attentive on their walks. About: I have taken care and grown up with dogs my whole life. I have experience with all types of dogs and behaviors! I work from home during the week so I have lots of attention to give your furry friends! I work from home Monday - Friday and waitress part time on Thursday - Saturday nights. I have plenty of free time for long walks or playing in my fenced in yard! I have one very energetic and playful dog at home. We go for long walks in the neighborhood or trail in the woods across my street and play fetch or tug of war all the time!
About: Hey! I’m an elder millennial who’s had a pet of one kind or another since birth (I won’t count all that in my years of experience though!) My family currently consists of two dogs, both well-behaved, friendly rescues from the south. I currently volunteer with and foster dogs for a local animal rescue. I’m excited to meet your fur babies! While hosting at my home, I’m currently only accepting female, housebroken dogs who are good with small children and other dogs. I will be the sole caretaker for your pet, and should my children be with me, they will be properly supervised. Outside of my home, I’m happy to work with male and female dogs of all sizes and breeds. While I can’t cat sit in my home, I’m more than happy to check in on your little love in their own space. I mostly work from home, but there are a few sporadic days where I’m in the office. If your dog being alone concerns you, let’s make sure we talk specifics before we book! I work full time and have young children, so I’m often on the go. Dogs who love car rides are welcome to join us! I typically take lunch break walks during the day - I’d love to have your furry friend keeping me company! I have two friendly dogs to keep your baby company. I can easily crate if needed. I have a spare crate, but can also use yours if it’s preferred.

“I’m a person who has a lot of difficulty trusting someone with my dogs- I’m very close with them. I’m positive many of the folks reading this review can say the same. It can be difficult to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and communicative. It can be even more difficult to find someone who is all of those things AND is excellent with dogs. My family has hit the absolute jackpot with Karen’s services. Our older dog has separation anxiety, takes medication, and needs a consistent presence to be successful. We never had to doubt whether Karen could fill these needs for him, and she’s delivered every time. Our younger dog has a lot of energy and has to be let out frequently- Karen’s flexibility and home/yard are perfect to meet those needs. Karen sent us pictures and videos throughout each of my dogs’ stays and provided detailed updates as to how they are doing. We will absolutely be back again, we can’t recommend her enough! 6/5 stars!”
