I excercise my pets frequently and daily. I can cover a lot of ground, so high energy dogs aren’t a problem for me. When my dog or cats are want to relax after a play session/walk; we most definitely will cuddle on the couch.

A typical day
I have a passion for being around animals and really feel connected when we go on walks, play fetch or tug-of-war. When I have more time, I like to take a longer walk/hike in the woods on a trail. Spending quality time is really key (work on other training and positive reinforcement). In off season, I love to take my dog and other dogs to the beach, when possible.

Big or small, I can guarantee I’ll love your pet! Growing up I’ve always lived in a pet-oriented family, leading me later in life to get pets of my own (two cats, and more recently a dog). Family members, friends, and co-workers have depended on me to care for their pet in their absence. Getting to know your beloved pet is a priority while I take care of them.

Tyler was wonderful! Our 2 cats have pretty basic needs, but they do not like strangers and we had never left them alone with a non-family member, so we were apprehensive about taking a week-long international trip. When we met with Tyler we emphasized that it wasn’t unexpected for him not to see the cats at all when he came by to feed them, and that he didn’t need to try to find them or stay and spend time with them if they didn’t want to come out. Imagine our surprise when we got a video from him the very first night with our big orange scaredy-cat rubbing up against him! Even our suspicious little tabby girl, who’s often skittish even around US, felt comfortable enough to walk into the kitchen and eat her food while Tyler was still there. He sent us a video or a photo or 2 each visit along with a quick update on how the cats were doing, which was perfect; we got peace of mind without distraction from our trip. We agonized for literally months over how we would arrange cat care after moving further away from our families, but now we know that we will be booking with Tyler any time we take a trip! It’s an enormous relief to have someone we can trust and that the cats actually feel comfortable with. Tyler is a lifesaver and we can’t recommend him highly enough!

Our puppy has so much fun with Tyler. We are fortunate to have found such a great sitter!
