“Highly recommend! Michael, his wife, and their pup Kirby are warm and welcoming. Little Bear struggles with separation anxiety and fortunately, he adjusted quickly to their home. Likely because of the good vibes, chill environment, sweet pet parents and a level of understanding and flexibility that is much appreciated. Huge yard and conveniently located. Great sitter!!”

“Our dog came home happy and (most importantly) tuckered out after having a fun day playing with Carlo and his other cute little canine clients for that day. Loved that we had open and clear communication, shared pics, and Carlo provided service that exceeded our expectations. Would definitely love to book with Carlo again!”

“Julie took great care of our puppy! We really appreciated that she offered a meet and greet, asked good questions to get to know what our puppy needed, and kept us updated throughout the visit.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and they’ve always been a huge part of my heart and home. Being a dog mom to my sweet Australian Shepherd, is one of the greatest joys of my life—she means the world to me! Whether it’s for a few hours or several days, I will care for your dog as if they were my own! You can have total peace of mind knowing your furry baby is not only in responsible hands, but also in a home where they will be truly loved and appreciated for the special soul they are ❤️ Pet care is my priority and passion, and I’ll be home 24/7 to care for your pup with all the love and attention they deserve. Your dog will never be alone and will be cared for like family, every moment of the day! All pet care takes place in my home, where your dog will be treated like part of the family from the moment they arrive. I provide a loving, and safe environment where their comfort and happiness come first. We have a spacious, fully fenced backyard that dogs absolutely love—it's perfect for safe playtime, sunshine, and tail-wagging fun throughout the day. Your pup will never be left alone and will always be surrounded by love, care, and attention. Their safety and well-being are always my top priority.

“I feel so lucky to have found Ash. My dog is fearful reactive and Ash has been willing to take her on, slowly building a relationship with my dog with repeated short visits with the goal of boarding. It’s a slow process, but Ash has been so patient and supportive.”

“Felix was amazing with my Bernedoodle, Tux. Tux felt immediately at home and got to do his favorite things all day: play with other dogs, go for walks, and nap all over the joint. Can't wait for Tux to go back!”

“Katharine was a last minute lifesaver on our vacation! We had plans to go horseback riding & leave our boy at the hotel but the night before, he was barking & whining when we’d leave him just to go to the lobby. First time Rover users, we found Katharine & instantly heard back from her. Any helicopter mom anxiety I had dissipated the moment Katharine came out to meet us at the car. Katharine has an amazing, warm energy that let me know our son & his anxiety would be well taken care of & managed. I didn’t feel like I had to worry about him the whole time we were gone - what an unexpected relief! Thank you so much for being there at a moment’s notice. You & the feeling of security you left us with ended up being the best part of our trip! Highly recommend!”

“Very friendly and punctual. Yvonne gave us an hour to meet and greet before the dog sitting day, and that gave me confidence that my pet would remember her and not be too stressed out on the day of the event. She was great at communicating through text and updating us with great pictures. She also gave my high energy dog lots of exercises and play time!”

“Anna was great with my dog for daycare when my dog had a cough and couldn't attend a large group daycare. My dog enjoyed playtime in the fully fenced yard and Anna sent picture and video updates throughout the day.”

“It was my first time using Howard & Linda for day care, and it was an excellent experience. Howard and their dog Truman met us for the meet and greet before the scheduled stay, and the dogs got along, as Truman is very easy going. My dog is not friendly with large dogs and requires a special diet, as well as, a regular feeding and walking schedule. Howard accommodated all of my dog’s needs during his stays. Howard & Linda are very friendly and personable people, and I highly recommend them!”

“Craig is a thoughtful, caring, trustworthy, and responsible sitter, who is gentle and kind to my nervous pup. He takes her on sniff walks to work out her anxiety, he asks what kind of toys she likes, and what kind of treats she prefers. I don’t hesitate to reach out when I need someone to stay with her.”

About: Animals have been at the heart of our family for decades. My wife and I currently share our home with two beloved dogs, and over the years we've welcomed countless furry companions into our lives—from young puppies to gentle senior dogs who deserve extra love and patience. I've had the joy of caring for dogs of every size and personality, from energetic german shorthaired pointers to laid-back bulldogs, and I understand that each dog has unique needs and quirks that make them special. With decades of hands-on experience, I know how to keep your dog comfortable, entertained, and loved whether you're at the office for the day or halfway around the world on vacation. Your peace of mind is just as important to me as your dog's happiness. I work remotely and have the flexibility to work from anywhere and arrange my schedule to meet the needs of my clients. I am available in the local area (Half Moon Bay, El Granada, Moss Beach, Montara) for daily walks or anywhere in San Mateo County and northern parts of Santa Clara County for housesitting/petsitting. Your dog's safety and happiness are my absolute priorities. I follow your established routines to the letter—from feeding schedules and medication times to favorite walking routes and those special bedtime rituals—because I understand that consistency is what helps dogs feel secure when their favorite humans are away. You'll receive regular photo and video updates throughout the day so you can see your furry family member thriving, and I'm always just a call or text away if you want to check in or have questions. I pay close attention to the little things that matter—subtle changes in appetite, energy levels, or behavior—because I treat every dog in my care with the same love and attentiveness I'd want for my own. As a homeowner myself, I understand how stressful it can be to leave both your beloved pet and your home in someone else's hands. That's why I take equal care of both, ensuring your house stays secure and well-maintained while your dog receives all the attention and exercise they need. My goal is simple: for you to return home to a happy, content dog and a well-cared-for house, knowing you can truly relax and focus on your vacation or business trip without a single worry.

About: I love dogs and want to help with yours! I've cared for pups on Trusted Housesitters, for friends and have fostered many dogs. I'm still in the process of figuring out what type of dog would work best for me one day. Until I get my own pet, I want to help you take care of your furry friend! Part of my earnings will also go to local rescues. If you're interested in fostering, please let me know and I'll connect you with my favorite local rescues! I work from home and need to go on walks and take breaks. So would love to go on walks with your pet or have a furry friend to visit when I'm off duty. For housesitting, I can work from home at your place. Housesitting includes a 30 minute daily walk and potty breaks. If you need a longer walk for your pet, I will modify the pricing. For doggy day care, if you have a non-shedding dog who is potty trained, I'm happy to have a co-working buddy while I work from home if your dog doesn't like being alone. Plus, I'll have a reason to take a break and go outside! For boarding services, I will care for your dog if you can meet my same criteria above for doggy day care.

About: It's my pleasure to look after your furry family member. I'm an outdoorsy person and taking your pup for walks is my main thing. If your pet just likes hanging around the house, I'm good with that, too! I give individualized care because each furry family member has different needs. I will listen to your needs and make plans accordingly and will also make suggestions if needed. With healthy doses of excellent care, you and your pets needs are my concern. Clear instructions and communication is important for ensuring a happy pet.

Stephen B.

“My dog had a great time. The best part of leaving my dog with Stephen for the first time was receiving videos and pics while in his care. Thank you!”

Venora H.
“Highly recommend Venora! She dogsat our reactive and extremely anxious 1 yo German Shepherd for a weekend and did so great. We came home to happy dog who had gotten plenty of exercise, love, and attention. She followed our instructions (like "cross the street when approaching another dog" or "no dogs on the couch even though he'll try to convince you otherwise") and left our place very tidy so I can definitely vouch for the fact that she's a responsible person. And if she can handle our 75-pound, high prey drive fireball on a walk, she can handle any pup.”

Shelley M.

“We have booked with Shelley before because she is reliable and good with dogs. Shelley made Paco feel at ease during his stay.”

Carrie P.
“If I were a pet I would want Carrie to take care of me. Even before she asked for a testimonial, I had asked her if she would pet sit for me. I’ve known her for over a decade. She was hired by the group I worked for at Stanford. Most people I have worked with over the decades don’t become dear friends, but she did. We always put the work relationship first. She honors her commitments. She is highly empathetic and responsible. You can trust her with your loved one.”

Ashley R.
“Ashley was a great dog sitter. She was available with very short notice and was willing to stay up late to accommodate our schedule. Thanks Ashley!”
