About: I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors since I was 10. Big dogs, tiny dogs, shy pups, or total goofballs—I love them all! Recently, I lost my beloved dog Donna, and I’m looking to fill that space in my heart by spending time with other pets. I’m here to make sure your furry friend gets plenty of walks, belly rubs, and love while you’re away. I’m home full-time, so your pup will get lots of attention, walks, and care throughout the day. I can also be flexible with drop-offs, pick-ups, and last-minute bookings. I live in a cozy one-bedroom NYC apartment that’s perfect for dogs who enjoy a calm, safe space. I follow your care instructions closely, keep things clean, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and loved. I’m home full-time, so your pup will get plenty of love, walks, and attention all day. “Emily is the best! She is always very prompt and Dorothy comes back so happy and tired! Dori is always so excited to see Emily. I’m coordinating a cross country move with a broken foot, so having someone I can depend on to care for Dori has been so great.”

About: Hi! I'm Roxanne, your ~hopeful~ future dog (or cat!) sitter. I grew up with dogs and cats, and for the past 14 years I was a mom to the best dog in the world, Marge. My promise to you is to make your pet feel loved, happy, and exercised (if that's their preference, of course). Do they love couch snuggles instead? That's ok, too. For drop-in services, I will make sure your pet gets plenty of love, a brisk walk, and a treat. I'll also ensure that your place is clean and orderly before I leave - just in case your pet made a mess while you were out. :) Is your pet on meds? That's fine! I'm comfortable with administering oral meds. I work from home full time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I prefer 1-day notice, but am also open to last minute bookings if my schedule can accommodate. Safety and trust are of utmost importance. I will leave your space as I found it and will clean up any potential messes your pup has made. I am adamant about keeping a short lead on walks to ensure they are safe at all times.

About: Genuine love, attention to detail, and the personal care I give every dog as if they were my own. I go beyond just feeding and walking — I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, preferences, and routine to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m also highly dependable, communicative, and committed to keeping you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I am currently able to work remotely so i spend most days of the week working from home in NYC. I get to work on my own schedule so i am always available for a dog walk to visit to say hi. Your best friend will get all the attention and love they deserve when visiting my home thanks to a lucky work life balance I prioritize safety and comfort for pets. When in my home pets will have space to run around but i will always be able to keep an eye on them. When visiting your home i am very respectful and cleanly. I have been raised to leave things better than you found them. When dog walking I am very patient and attentive, making sure your pet is safe as well as enjoying their fresh air time

About: I have been a parent, caregiver and sitter to dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles and fish for nearly all my life. Growing up and living with all kinds of animals in rural Missouri gives me a unique perspective and innate kindness to all animals. As a current pet parent and Rover-user, I understand the patience and reliability that each pet and pet parent needs to feel safe and assured. You can trust that while you’re away that not only will your family member will be treated like my own, but that I will also be hyper communicative, flexible and reachable. I live in the East Village in Lower Manhattan, central to much of the city. I primarily work from home and have control of my own schedule, allowing maximum flexibility. Further, I am commonly in town for major holidays. I practice the utmost safety, organization, cleanliness and communication when caring for all pets, including my own. As a pet owner and Rover-user in the city myself, I understand the importance of these requirements for professional pet care.

“Cheryl walks Slash every week - she’s been a great help to us as we are in the office more often. She’s very communicative and adjusts what she does with Slash depending on weather or how energetic he is that day. Would definitely recommend Cheryl to anyone who needs a reliable dog walker!”

About: Taking care of animals is my passion. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have loved taking care of them. I also took care of my neighbors pets starting at age 12 and have always been a reliable pet carer as I know from experience with my own pets how to make sure they feel loved, relaxed, and safe. I would love to meet and care for your pet! I work remote with flexible hours three days a week and so have plenty of time for drop in visits and walks with your pet! I’ve grown up walking a BIG dog (100+ pounds) and therefore know how to keep a dog safe on a walk/keep the leash tight around my hand.

About: Your fur baby will receive private, personalized care for less than the cost of a local kennel service. My positive reviews speak for themselves. I’ve been a professional dog walker and pet sitter for over ten years! I’m from Texas and I grew up around dogs, cats, horses, fish and other animals throughout my life. Their care was an important part of my day. I enjoy being around animals. I am comfortable feeding, bathing and walking dogs, cats, fish, turtles, rabbits and teacup pigs. HOUSE SITTING INFO: Note: I do not board large dogs in my home. Dogs in my care are walked 10 minutes, 3 times a day. You can add longer walks for an additional price. The Pet parent must provide: all food, water/food bowls, leash, harness or collar, treats and medication. If your pet has any recent history of accidents indoors you must also provide a sleeping crate & pee pads. I am not able to house sit for dogs over 20 lbs with behavioral issues, particularly aggression. Regarding house stays, the home must be safe and secure; doors can lock. I do my best to be flexible. Dogs are walked morning, evening and night— On weekends I may take them to the dog park for social play time. I will regularly send pictures. I am very communicative with pet owners and will answer any of your questions. Look forward to caring for your pet. New clients should schedule a call so we are on the same page.

“My dog Moz loves his time with Roxanne. She is one of the few people I can trust to love and care for my dog as much as I do. I love when I receive pictures of their walks and facetime calls when she's with him overnight. She's so careful in following his strict diet and didn't hesitate when he needed ear drops during one of his extended stays with her. She even taught my stubborn puggle how to give paw. 10/10 would recommend.”
