“Raymond has been my dog walker for a while now. I have a big boy, who can sometimes be a lot but Raymond always treated him with care. My dog comes back happily tired after his walks. Even with last minute requests, Raymond has made it available to walk my dog. Thank you! Definitely recommend him to anyone!!”

About: Hi! We're Meg, Marty, & Ol' Jed! We're expecting our first human baby soon and have decided to take on dog walking to not only keep mom in shape but earn some extra cash. When you hire us, you'll get all three of us to walk your dog(s). Ol' Jed is a 1.5 yr old blue heeler who has earned all his obedience milestones at Zoom Room. He's very social with dogs and people, often winning over the love of dogs who don't love dogs. He's like a dog whisper! We've owned dogs most of our lives. Even Meg's first job as a teenager was a dog caretaker at a local dog hotel. We understand what it takes to handle dogs safely and since we always walk together, we can handle your dog! We have experience administering medication to dogs, training puppies, and following safety protocols when meeting other dogs while out for walks. Our work schedules offer great flexibility to which we are available for walks most week days in the morning, midday, or afternoon. Please check the calendar to see specifically what's available. If you don't see a time that's available please reach out to see if we can make time. We only offer walking services and do not offer boarding services. During walks we will not be taking your dogs to our home. We are happy to pick up and drop off your dog at your home, with or without contact. When we do a pick up, one of us stays at least 20ft away from the front door with Ol' Jed while the other comes to your home to retrieve your dog. We will walk your dog up to Ol' Jed once both dogs show readiness and calmness. If at any point we determine that your dog and our dog are not a good match for co-walking, one of us will take our dog in the opposite direction for the remainder of the walk and your dog will walk alone with the other.

“Karen was wonderful! It gave me such peace of mind to have such a caring person walk my dog while I was gone. I love that she took the time to make sure that he was comfortable with her prior to the walk dates. The updates and pictures after each walk was wonderful”

About: I have years of experience caring for children of all ages, have owned dogs my whole life, and even care for my grandmother. I am a responsible young woman who graduated from USC with a Masters in Public Health who is looking to help other people out with their busy lives. I currently work remote full time and am able to help walk pups in the early morning before work, afternoons, and on the weekends whenever dog owners need me! Our dog, Mac, currently uses a doggy door to access our backyard where he will sunbathe and enjoy the grass. I am flexible with any kind of care your dog needs.

About: First off i absolutely love dogs. the gentlest souls. i’ve had dogs as pets for most of my life and ow i have one that’s my own. i want to branch out and give care for other pets too though. i walk my dog nearly every day so walks are not a problem for me. i work a full time job during the week that is a mid shift schedule (2pm - 10:15). so i can for sure do morning walks on weekdays. weekends i’m fully open though when it comes to walking or any other form of pet care. My dog is mostly an inside dog but there’s a backyard for him. it’s not very big cause of a pool so walking/hiking are his main ways of cardio. he’s also got plenty of toys and i always well fed with water as well. this will carry over into the care i can give your pets.

About: I just graduated from CSULB so I’m used to walking long distances around the college campus! Now that I’m graduated, I also have a lot of free time to help out where I can and to earn extra income while I look for my career job. I’m always looking to get a workout in and walk around my neighborhood and beach area. Currently I am employed part time only working 5-10 hours per week, so I am free most of the time to walk dogs! Little Background on me: I once professionally babysat for a neighbor’s husky-pomeranian puppy when I was 16. When I was around 11-12 though, I would always walk my friends small dog whenever she wasn’t home and needed me to help out. This made me feel more comfortable walking or taking care of dogs in general. Around age 20, I moved in with my first roommates and one had a bigger dog (husky/golden retriever mix). I used to walk her up and down this big hill since she was a younger active breed. The dog really helped me become stronger in learning how to walk bigger dogs, how to get them to respect me as a walker and to know which routes are best for them. Now I’m 24, I’ve watched my friends sweet older poodle overnight a few times. I currently live with a sweet older pitbull (my roommates dog). I’ve walked her many times and she’s also really strong like the husky-golden mix, so it’s helped me learn how to be more comfortable walking multiple different sized dogs- and ultimately comfortable with watching and walking dogs (: I have a part time job that offers no more than 10 hours weekly, so I am very flexible when it comes to booking. I am available most of the time to accept bookings. I have a big open living room to pet sit other dogs or a patio as well. Currently the other dog in my home can free roam anywhere she wants but can be put in her room should there be any conflict.

Hi there! I just graduated from cosmetology school and am currently in the process of finding the perfect salon to call home. In the meantime, I’m dedicating my flexible schedule to something I’ve always loved—caring for animals! I’ve grown up around pets of all kinds and have years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and more. Whether your pet needs a relaxing stay, a dependable drop-in, or a fun walk by the beach, I’m here to give them the love, attention, and care they deserve. While we don’t have a backyard, we’re just a short walk from the beach and nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood that’s perfect for daily strolls and outdoor enrichment. Your pet will be welcomed into a calm, loving home with plenty of affection, attention, and companionship.

East Side dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alan is the first dog walker our dog Cooper has ever had, and he did an amazing job helping us and Cooper feel like we were in good hands from day one. Our dog is very shy but took to Alan right away. We love all the photos Alan takes on their walks and seeing how happy Cooper is when he comes back. Couldn't recommend Alan more!

Tyler is an amazing dog walker/pet sitter. My golden retriever 1 year old puppy is high energy and even had a broken toe for 8 weeks and Tyler was super attentive and responsive. He wrote amazing notes about the walks and Sully is always happy to see him. Tyler is always able to step in, even for my last minute requests and you can tell he really cares about the dogs he walks. I HIGHLY recommend Tyler for you pet walking/sitting needs!

Molly is amazing and my wife and I highly recommend her services. She’s professional, flexible, kind and accountable, and has been an incredible help through our unpredictable schedules. Our pup feels safe with her and we have been repeat clients for a while with no regrets!
