About: I take care of all of my families’s pets when they go on vacation. I have experience with puppies and older dogs. I am a huge animal lover! I am currently flexible during the day. About: I've had cats for over 20 years, all of my adult life. I'm an expert at giving medications. I've also owned small and medium sized dogs. I subscribe to positive reinforcement training. I am independently bonded and insured. Please request more info if needed. I live in the heart of Dormont. Have experience with cats and small/medium dogs. I drive so no issues with transportation. My availability is open! I prefer to watch your pet(s) in your home. If you leave me a schedule, including food, treats, play, and walk times, I will stick to that precisely. I feel that pets not only need a routine, but they do much better in their own environment. If there's an emergency, I will be able to bring them to my home. Obviously communication will be key, and this is only for extenuating circumstances (if I feel they are unsafe due to unforeseen situations). My goal is to continue their established routine, so when you come home, there will be a smooth transition.

About: I have had 5 dogs of various breeds that have had unique care needs. These needs have included allergy injections, oral medications, dietary restrictions, and food modifications. I am comfortable with basic grooming, like brushing and ear cleaning. I am an avid walker and would love to take your pup on a nice walk. Also, I have had experience with cat sitting for friends and neighbors. I currently am pet free but will love and care for your pet like my own. I have plenty of time during the weekends to care for your pets. This is when I would love to take your dog on a walk or drop in for some play time and caring. Whether you’re running errands, out for an event, or away for a weekend, you can trust that that any duration will fit into my schedule. I am diligent about following rules already set for your home and happy to learn about them at the meet & greet. This includes crating your pup as directed by your instructions, being mindful during walks, and keeping an eye on your pet while they’re in my care.

About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I am a lifelong pet person, and professional sitter. I am relatively new to Rover specifically, but am in my 40's and have cared for other people's pets for over 15 years, both here in Pittsburgh and in Seattle where I am originally from. I am fully privately insured for pet sitting and dog walking and carry broadened property damage coverage, animal bailee coverage and veterinary reimbursement coverage. I do two check ins a day with lots of pictures, and am a quick responder to messages (my average response time is 6 min). My most consistent feedback is that i am very communicative and professional, and that owners feel secure and never worry about their pets well-being when they are with me! My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing many animals, and continued that tradition into adulthood, so I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area from about 7am-3pm mon-thursday, so will not be available in the home or for potty breaks during those hours. The absolute longest I would leave a pet during a house-sitting is 8 hours on those days, but quite often it's only 4-6 hours that i am working. All other outings/errands would be less than four hours, tops, but usually only about an hour. I am comfortable with more or less any pet, from rodents to lizards and I am not squirmish about even the creepy crawlies and slithery noodles. I can and have given almost every kind of medication there is, including subcutaneous injections, and am comfortable doing so with care and compassion and confidence. I am clean, responsible, and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, and you can get a feel for my vibe and professionalism at that time, but I am sure you will like me and feel comfortable having me in your home. As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings. I also am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible, and will clean litter boxes daily and change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I work as a housekeeper from 7am-3pm mon-thursday around the greater Pittsburgh area. If you have multiple dogs who need round the clock supervision and you book me at least three weeks before the sitting start date, than we could work that out and I could block out my housekeeping schedule for that time and just be available for the sitting job (my rates will be increased in this situation as I am priced for my current availability, not constant care and being unable to make my normal wages during the sit). In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I will spend lots of time loving and socializing your pets, and I set alarms and try to keep potty breaks frequent to avoid accidents and less stress.

About: I’ve loved dogs and been surrounded for as long as I can remember: taking them on walks, teaching them tricks, and tending to their needs 🐾 So, I’d love to step in and help with yours whenever/whatever needed. My schedule is very flexible which means I have plenty of time to spare on making sure your pets are okay and taken care of. I do work mostly in the evenings, only about 2-3 days a week but am never there past 8pm. I am essentially open from morning until evening nearly all day every day. My backyard is fenced off and has two levels ensuring that your pets have plenty of room to run and play! I also have a dog of my own to make sure your pet has someone to play with. My house is very secure and has lots of friendly neighbors with their own pets who would love to play and meet yours. I also live with 3 other people, which means your dog is never left unsupervised for too long.

About: What sets me apart is how comfortable and patient I am with all kinds of pet personalities. I know every dog and cat is different, some are energetic and playful, while others may be shy or need a little extra time to warm up. I’m attentive to each pet’s routine and individual needs, whether that means walks and playtime, lots of attention, or simply giving them a comfortable and calm environment. I’m also comfortable caring for pets of different ages and adjusting to the specific instructions their owners provide. My full-time job offers a lot of flexibility since I build my own schedule and have the ability to work remotely rather than being in the office every day. This makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my routine and adjust my availability day-to-day. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or spending a little extra time with your pet, I’m able to plan my schedule around their needs and make sure they’re getting plenty of attention and care! I’m most comfortable with the everyday care that keeps pets happy, healthy, and comfortable while their owners are away. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, exercise, and of course plenty of attention and company! I’m also happy to follow any specific routines or instructions you have for your pet. My experience is primarily with general pet care rather than grooming, so I like to focus on making sure pets feel safe, cared for, and stick as closely to their normal routine as possible.

About: HI! I am Athena! I am a super active dog lover! I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I recently adopted a cockapoo puppy and raised him for the past 6 months. Sadly I had to leave him at home with my parents so I would love to bond with another dogs. Before my cockapoo, I had a bischon frise my entire life. Besides caring for my own dogs, I dog sat for people in my neighborhood as well as walked dogs. I dog sat for the same dog for 5 years.
