About: I cared for my family dog for years, and other dogs in my home neighborhood until I moved out. I get so much joy from being around animals. I have never come across a stray cat that didn't want to be my friend. I don't currently live with any pets which is why I am eager to petsit so I can spend time with some wonderful dogs and cats. I have a lot of free time during the week for extended stays or multiple drop-ins in a day. I love animals and I will give your pet all of my attention, and be sure they are loved and cared for. I have a nice and safe apartment with easy access to outside and a quick walk to Point State Park will give them all the grass they could ever dream of.

About: Hello there, I am a certified Veterinary technician, I have been in wildlife and small animal care for the past 14 years while dog sitting on the side. I am new to the Pittsburgh area and looking to find new clients! My previous experience includes zookeeping and wildlife rehabilitation in the Boston area for 7 years and then working for a professional dog sitting/hiking company in Medford MA for another 5 years. I moved to Pittsburgh to get my CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician license) in 2024, and now work at a lovely little small animal clinic. I am well versed in animals with complex medication/therapy needs, such as insulin administration and exacting medication timing requirements. I am also very experienced with exotics, particularly birds. I work full time Monday-Friday so I am primarily seeking weekend and holiday pet-sitting arrangements. I am also happy to work in drop in cat care around this type of schedule as well. I cannot currently offer in my own home pet care due to landlord request, but I have been dog/cat/house sitting in clients homes for 14 years and am experienced with maintaining specific pet routines and training schedules. I have a leave no trace policy when it comes to other peoples homes. I am also very happy to water plants and manage aquarium care as needed. I also do not drink or party, I just need a sofa and a good book.

About: I've always enjoyed being around animals, and over the years I've had the chance to care for both dogs and cats for family. I've watched my girlfriend's family's three senior cats (now 15, 14, and 21 years old) several times while they've been out of town, making sure they're fed, have fresh water, and keeping their litter boxes clean. Caring for a 21-year-old cat has taught me how important patience and consistency are with senior pets. I've also cared for my brothers' dogs—a 5-year-old Siberian Husky and a 7-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix—sometimes for several days at a time. That includes feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and giving them plenty of attention. I'm comfortable with high-energy dogs as well as older cats and always treat every pet like they're my own. I'm currently a full-time student finishing my last semester of college while working part time as a digital forensics intern. During the summer, my internship is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and I'm available for pet care anytime after my internship each day. Once the fall semester begins, my internship is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:00 p.m. I'm also available most evenings and weekends, so I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work around you and your pet's needs. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or visiting them in theirs, I always focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and respected. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and boundaries, so I never force attention or affection if they are not comfortable. I believe pets should be able to approach and interact on their own terms. I make sure their needs are met through feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, litter box cleaning, and plenty of patience. When there was a big rain storm and they couldn't walk outside, Lindsey spent the time playing with our dog inside and gave him the attention and exercise that he needed.
