“I've known Dakota my whole life to be a kind and compassionate person, especially with animals. She has always had pets growing up, learning not only the work and responsibilities of an animal but also the love they need. (Her childhood dog, Butters, lived over 16years!!) She is attentive to the needs of others making her accountable, responsible and reliable. Dakota is very open minded, accepting, and non judgemental, therefore I could never see her treat ANY dog poorly based on any basis of breed or personality of the specific dog. Most importantly she is an honest and trustworthy person which makes people feel secure leaving their pet in her care. With all these qualities being said, I truly feel Dakota would excel as a responsible loving dog caregiver. -Erica S.”

About: Both of us have had family pets throughout our lives and participated in training and caring for them from a young age. We are comfortable caring for animals of all types. We have always lived in a multi-pet household, and have housesat for people with up to 10 animals and cared for pets of all ages and needs. We are available to spend lots of time with your pets. One of us can sleep at your home to keep them company and will ensure to never leave them alone for too long. Between the two of us, we will have more flexibility and availability to stop in more frequently and stay longer. We are happy to take dogs on walks and also put them in our car for fun outings. We are only able to care for pets in the client's home due to the fact that we are living in an apartment with two of our own young dogs. We both work part-time and have flexible schedules. Between the 2 of us, we can stop in multiple times a day and spend evenings and nights with your pets. We like to spend as much time as possible with the pets we care for. We understand that they can get anxious while their owners are away. We are very flexible and happy to follow whatever regimen we are given, and respect owner’s rules and expectations.
“Christy was wonderful during her visit with my pup. She walked her, played with her, and sent me a number of pictures of during the visit. I also had some special instructions because my pup is recovering from her spay, and Christy was great about asking for directions and following them!”
“Maya is fantastic!!! We are incredibly grateful for her help. We have a very nervous/anxious/shy little dog named Ambar. We decided to use Rover to help her get used to meeting new people. Initially, Ambar barked at Maya all the time. But Maya was very patient, and after more meetings and walks outside, they became best friends. We are so happy with Ambar progress!!”
“Helen has watched Luna several times and has been a wonderful caretaker. She is responsible, timely, and Luna loves her - she runs upto Helen and lays on her lap immediately when she comes over! Helen is a pediatrician and a very reliable person. I trust her with all of my pets!”
“Drew is hands down the best house and pet sitter. She takes excellent care of my 5 animals (2 cats, 2 dogs and 1 turtle) and they all love her. One of my dogs is an extremely skittish, traumatized rescue and Drew has gone above and beyond to befriend her. Now I get photos of them snuggling on the couch together, which speaks volumes about Drew's gentle nature and patience. I always feel so comfortable leaving everyone in Drew's care. She follows directions, administers medication, and she leaves my house super clean and tidy too, which is always nice to come home to.”
“Becca was awesome taking care of my puppy and cat in my home!! She was extremely reliable, flexible, communicative, and most importantly, took excellent, loving care of my pets!! I will absolutely be using her services again and I highlighted recommend her!”
“Jesse is fantastic, courteous, and timely. My dog Bark ‘Wally’ Wahlberg absolutely loves her and his walks. Wally recommends his best friend Jesse! Wally sleeps like a puppy after his walks. Highly recommended.”
About: I have been caring for animals for over 15 years and have experience with cats, dogs, rats, chinchillas, sugar gliders, horses, and chickens, at varying life stages. I am an animal lover and rights activist and my number one priority is to keep your furry loved ones safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, as well as ensure you feel secure! I know how stressful leaving your animals can be and I want to alleviate that stress as much as possible so you can enjoy your time away. Although I have/have had my own animals, a lot of my experience with animals has been through rescuing, fostering, volunteering, boarding, sitting, and walking. You can see some of my fosters and in my profile below! I'm currently out of school for the summer (I am in a graduate program for psychology) so I am home more often than not! I have two of my own and their daily care includes feeding, grooming (teeth brushing, etc), and play so pet care is already part of my routine. If youre not comfortable with your baby around other animals, I have a way to separate the back of the house from the front! I care for animals in my home as if they were my own. I have an unfenced yard and a dog park across the street from me. I can crate if need be as well.
“Ashley is really sweet and took good care of our pup during drop in / walking visits! Scheduling is easy and she’s punctual and trustworthy. We recommend Ashley for your doggy needs!”
“Kristen is truly the best! Treats my dog like one of her own. Let’s me know if there are any issues, what her mood is like and gives her lots of love. Would recommend her to anyone.”
“Kate gave me a lot of peace of mind taking care of Millie and providing a full report each time. I will definitely be asking for her help again!”
“I set up a walk with Lacey so Rufus could meet her before I dropped him off for a week to board with her. He has never stayed with anyone other than family before and gets anxious around new people. Lacey was flexible in changing our meeting time when Rufus got sick and was calm and supportive when meeting him. I was confident dropping him off this morning for the week.”
“Ela has been great with our dog! She is very flexible and communicates very well. We needed someone to walk our energetic Weimaraner and she’s exceeded our expectations! Blue warmed up to her right away and I felt instantly that she was in great hands!”
