“Ben communicates well and does well with CC. He even has taken his dog on walks with her which she loves. I’d recommend his as a dog walker if you are in need.”

“Linnea did an excellent job checking in on our young pup while away on vacation. She kept us updated with lots of photos, and even began some training. We will definitely use her again on future bookings and would strongly recommend her to other folks!”

About: I have had pets my whole life - from 3 big dogs that I cared for growing up to my 2 pet cats now, and even a snake! I love animals and will do whatever is needed to keep them healthy and happy while you are away! I can help with feeding, walking, medication, litter boxes, play. I unfortunately cannot board as I have 2 cats at home. I am highly responsive to animal signals and can interpret when an animal is feeling skiddish or aggressive and may need a different approach to maintain safety. I’m currently working part time with flexible hours, so I’m available to help out with relative ease flexible to your needs! Morning, afternoon, or night are all possible. I have experience with all necessary pet care from feeding, scooping litter, and walks to administering medication. I will put your pets care as first priority!
About: My house was known as "The Zoo" growing up, with a Goldendoodle, Great Dane, multiple cats, and a ferret. I've been the neighborhood pet sitter since I was 13, with experience caring for large dogs, elderly animals, and administering insulin to a diabetic Chihuahua. Now, I live in the city with my two cats, Gizzi and Lezly, who I’ve taught to sit and high-five. I’ll give your pets the care they deserve and maybe teach them a trick or two along the way! I currently work part-time with closing shifts and the occasional weekend. My schedule is flexible, and I can adjust to fit your pet care needs. My cat, Lezly, is special needs with digestive issues, so I'm experienced with soft food and administering medicine diets. I look forward to walking dogs that love the snow or wear those cute little booties on their feet. I have no problem taking care of crate-trained or free-roaming animals. For overnight stays, my home is pet-friendly, but it’s important that the dog gets along with cats, as I have two of my own. My house is located on a quiet street in Troy Hill and has a quaint yard.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood, whether my own, or for friends, family, and neighbors. I will treat your sweet dog or cat as my own. I can go on long or short walks, can administer medications, can play or provide sweet loving attention to your fur babies. I work part-time, so I’m happy to be at your home or taking care of your dog/cat before 9 and after 5 pm on Tuesdays-Thursdays. The other days of the week/weekend I can be there as often as you’d like, for as long as you’d like. I can walk dogs for as long as you need, we can work out a schedule that works best. My yard is partially fenced, so I fully intend to watch your dog during outdoor time if you are not one to use a lead. My house is 3-stories so perfect for any size animal. At the client’s home, I will follow your instructions as close as possible, and can provide a safe and loving presence. The only caveat is my house has 2 cats, so we must be sure the the visiting dog is safe with cats.
“Ashley has been walking Thor for a few months now and since she started Thor has had some medical issues requiring Ashley to give him a pill. In addition he’s become more difficult and picky with eating. Ashley has been extremely supportive through this making sure she does what she can to get Thor to eat and take his pill.”
“I cannot say enough about Gabriella. She is incredibly professional and has such amazing, positive energy. We have two beagles, and from the very first meet and great, they felt completely comfortable and excited around her. Which says a lot! It is truly clear that she knows how to connect with dogs. Every walk last week seems to have gone smooth, reliable, and based by the pictures I received, full of happy tail wags. I feel totally at ease knowing my pups are in such great hands. Highly recommended.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since high school, from walking neighbors’ dogs to volunteering at the local shelter to staying with pets for extended periods of time while their families are on vacation. I love all dogs, but as a former newfoundland-owner, have a special place in my heart for the big dog breeds! I love cats too and have extensive experience living with cats so am more than happy to play with your feline friend too! I am in law school so have a flexible schedule with plenty of time to walk/play with your pets on weekdays when you need an extra hand! I will treat your home with respect and follow all of the house rules set out for me! I understand it can be nerve-wracking letting a stranger in your home/with your furbaby, so I want to make that as easy as possible for you!
“Soephie is absolutely incredible. I trust our pup with her absolutely anytime. She is the BEST. She takes so much time to teach our pup tricks and help us out when she can.”

About: I've had more than half a dozen cats and dogs each throughout my life. I've helped feed them, give them water, walk them, and try to give them the happiest lives possible. These pets have been my best friends, even more so than most people that I've met. I absolutely love animals and always make them my priority! I'm a student at the University of Pittsburgh looking for a part time job when I am home on break, and weekend work when I am at school. I love pets and tend to have a lot of free time at home and on weekends! My pets are technically my parents', but I often walk them because I want to get them outside and it's fun for me. I also feed them and make sure they have water in their dishes. I usually take my dogs as far as they want to go, whether it's for just a block, or for a few miles. I love to snuggle up with my dogs more than anything!
About: I've been volunteering at my local animal shelter for almost 2 years now. I hang out with pets whenever I get the chance, so I've walked a friend's dog here and there. While I've fed medication meatballs to dogs, have observed vet techs handling many dogs for medication and triage, and know some canine body language basics, I'm still looking to expand my hands-on dog care experience, as I'm much more experienced with cats at the moment. I'd love to care for your well-behaved dog for an affordable price as part of my learning experience! I love hanging out with friendly dogs of all sizes but for walking I am only comfortable taking medium to small dogs to start. I'm off from university for the Christmas season and I'm looking to accumulate some experience before going back, so my schedule is very flexible! I can work with early mornings or last minute bookings as long as we iron out the details before you leave. As a shelter volunteer I follow Fear Free Shelter principles and focus on minimizing stress and fear while maximizing enrichment. I will also protect your babies with good hygiene, including hand washing and a change of clothes if I work with another household beforehand. While I've only administered medication by mixing with treats, I can work with detailed instructions if you've had success with other techniques before. I am not squeamish about chores and I do well with checklists, so let me know everything that your pet needs!
“Did such an amazing job with my puppy! She was very helpful and gave some great tips and knowledge about dogs ◡̈ looking forward to being able to have her watch my dog again!”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old as a consistent volunteer at the local humane society, while also walking the neighborhood pets. I am very good with dogs of all sizes and own a rescued tuxedo cat named Molly. I am very passionate for animals and love caring and tending to pets in need! I guarantee I will make your pet feel loved and secure while you handle life's tasks! I wear the medallion of Saint Francis of Assisi, as he was known for his love of animals. Wearing this medallion reminds me of the importance of caring/tending for all animals as humanly possible. I was recently laid off from the corporate world and am working part-time, so I have a lot of availability to tend to your pets! I will ensure to keep your pet secure and protected in their designated environment. I have a lot of experience with keeping both dogs and cats on leashes and in designated 'safe spaces'.
“I’m really happy that I found Shelly- she was super easy to schedule with, she’s great with my dog, and she can power through hot afternoon walks. My dog is so much happier now that he gets to walk with her each afternoon.”

“Iana was the perfect dog walker for my dog while I was out if town. She was very thoughtful and send me daily updates and pictures. I know Fiona is going to miss seeing her daily. I will definitely try to schedule with her again in the future and highly recommend her.”

East Allegheny dog parents share their Rover experiences
Heather does an amazing job with my 2 pups!! She makes sure they have on their coats or harnesses depending on the cold temps. My pups enjoy the long walks with her and being able to sniff at their own pace!! The pups get so excited to see her! Definitely would recommend Heather to take care of your pets!!

Richard walked our two dogs for the first time recently and the experience exceeded my expectations. Both are extra large dogs--80 and 130 pounds. Not easy customers (both react to deer, dogs, etc.), but he managed them very capably. He was very knowledgeable, timely, and attuned to the dogs needs, as well as agreeable to work with. Will definitely book him again.

Alexander did a great job taking care of our lab! Great communication, on time, followed all directions very well and provides pictures! He was considerate enough to bring in an Amazon package that he noticed on the front porch while we were out of town. Highly recommend!

Caroline and Will have been wonderful with Enzo. He’s almost 9, and this is the first time I’ve ever hired a dog walker, so I was nervous, but they’ve made the transition so easy. They’re patient, kind, and truly care about him, and he’s really warming up to them. I’m so grateful for the way they’ve taken him in and treated him like part of their little pack. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️

Anna is wonderful! She’s easy to communicate with and my elderly dog pepper feels at ease with her. It was easy to talk with her about peppers various needs and she did not hesitate to ask clarifying questions and make sure she was prepared. Would highly recommend! Thank you!
