About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood, whether my own, or for friends, family, and neighbors. I will treat your sweet dog or cat as my own. I can go on long or short walks, can administer medications, can play or provide sweet loving attention to your fur babies. I work part-time, so I’m happy to be at your home or taking care of your dog/cat before 9 and after 5 pm on Tuesdays-Thursdays. The other days of the week/weekend I can be there as often as you’d like, for as long as you’d like. I can walk dogs for as long as you need, we can work out a schedule that works best. My yard is partially fenced, so I fully intend to watch your dog during outdoor time if you are not one to use a lead. My house is 3-stories so perfect for any size animal. At the client’s home, I will follow your instructions as close as possible, and can provide a safe and loving presence. The only caveat is my house has 2 cats, so we must be sure the the visiting dog is safe with cats.
About: I have had a family dogs for years, I have watched my friends dogs for about 2 years now! I have watched a few cats in my time as well! I work from home so being around your pet and taking care of them is easy for me! Having pets near me makes my work day better! I have a fenced in yard and live near a dog park! I myself go on multiple walks a day and love to have a pet keeping me company!
“Danielle was easy to communicate with, got along great with the dogs, and went above and beyond to give them exercise on a stormy day by coming back by once the rain had stopped to let them out again. I will definitely hire her more and highly recommend her.”

About: For many years, I have offered in-home services to pet owners. I’ve boarded, walked, and slept over with dogs of all ages, sizes, and medical needs. I’m now bringing my services to Rover, rather than just friends and neighbors! I work full time for the Pennsylvania Courts! I’m available to walk downtown on both weekdays and weekends! Looking forward to making your sweet pet part of my routine. I look at pets’ body language to see if they need space, listen to their “words”… years of experience help to let me know the best way to care for your pet. 😃
“Linnea did an excellent job checking in on our young pup while away on vacation. She kept us updated with lots of photos, and even began some training. We will definitely use her again on future bookings and would strongly recommend her to other folks!”

“Ben communicates well and does well with CC. He even has taken his dog on walks with her which she loves. I’d recommend his as a dog walker if you are in need.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for over 10 years, and I’ve always been the “animal aunt” that friends, family, and neighbors rely on. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, small animals, and even some shy or nervous pets, and I love learning each pet’s personality and what makes them feel safe and happy. I’m gentle, calm, and patient, which helps animals warm up quickly. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, litter box and cage cleaning, enrichment activities, and giving plenty of affection (or respectful space if your pet prefers that!). I’m also experienced with senior pets and those who need a slower, more thoughtful pace of care. Whether you need someone to stick to a strict feeding schedule or just keep your dog company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained. Expect lots of updates, happy tails, and peace of mind while you’re gone! I currently work part-time, so I have a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m able to do drop-ins, walks, and house sitting during weekdays and weekends. I make sure to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for so they get consistent attention, routine, and playtime. Your pet won’t be rushed or squeezed in — I give each animal the time and presence they deserve. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my first priority. I take time to understand their routine, personality, and any special needs before starting care. I’m respectful of your home and very detail-oriented when it comes to feeding instructions, medications, or behavior notes. Whether your pet is shy, energetic, or somewhere in between, I always move at their pace and create a calm, reassuring environment. I stay in touch with updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing.
“Ashley is awesome! She’s super responsive to texts and flexible. She takes care of Shiloh like her own hound dogs, and he looks forward to her every time. Couldn’t recommend her enough!!”

About: Hi! My name is Colette, but my friends call me Mouse and I love pets! I've been taking care of friends and families pets for about two years now. I'm in college and looking to make some extra cash. I work around my class schedule, that is different day today. I'm able to watch or check in on pets throughout the day and night, and all weekends. I'm in school for theater so sometimes I do go through tech weeks that let me out very late at night, but when that happens, I'm still willing to check in on any pets! I believe in making sure your pets are fully safe and loved while you are away! I have no problem asking about what exactly is the regular routine of your pet to make sure they are the safest and most comfortable they can be without you.
“Richard walked our two dogs for the first time recently and the experience exceeded my expectations. Both are extra large dogs--80 and 130 pounds. Not easy customers (both react to deer, dogs, etc.), but he managed them very capably. He was very knowledgeable, timely, and attuned to the dogs needs, as well as agreeable to work with. Will definitely book him again.”

About: I’ve worked at a dog and cat boarding and daycare center for over three years, and have years of experience cat sitting for my neighbor. I’ve worked both in the kennel and daycare and have experience in different areas of animal care. As a recent graduate, I have more free time! I am a recent college graduate who works part time at a kennel. I am always able to make time to care for pets and adapt my schedule! I cater to the needs of the animal and owner. With having experience with different needs of an animal at my boarding and daycare job, I have an understanding of how to reach those needs.
“Iana was the perfect dog walker for my dog while I was out if town. She was very thoughtful and send me daily updates and pictures. I know Fiona is going to miss seeing her daily. I will definitely try to schedule with her again in the future and highly recommend her.”

“Shannon has been walking my pup for two weeks now and has been wonderful! The weather has been freezing and snowy and yet she has always showed up on time and has established a great relationship with my dog. She does a super job knowing when it’s too cold (or my dog just isn’t in the mood) to go for an extended walk and will just play with him inside a bit longer instead. Highly recommended!”

I often pet sit my friends and families dogs and cats and even guinea pigs and geckos. So while I don't have any trained professional experience in pet care, I do have an abundance of personal experience. I absolutely adore animals so I will do my best to treat yours with as much care as I have. This is my full time job so I will be available for all of my listed services every day of the week from 8 am - 10 pm preferably in day light hours. I am very flexible with my hours so I can prioritize your schedule. While walking your pet I will remain vigilant to ensure its safety. About: Hi there! I’m Jacqui and I absolutely love spending time with dogs :) I am originally from Texas where I grew up taking care of lots of animals, including at one point eight dogs! I am very comfortable and familiar with caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, and I would love to help care for your best friend. I’m currently a student in school however have some open time on my tuesdays and thursdays for walks, and i’m available on weekends for walks, boarding, house sitting, or drop ins. Message me and we can see if our schedules align. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex and do not have any limitations to where your pet can be in my own personal apartment. Your pet would be able to roam free in the safety of my apartment where I would consistently be near to watch over them. We have a small grassy potty area outside our building for breaks and we could definitely go for walks down to point state park for some extra space to play and roam if that sounds alright to you. I will also follow any regulations you may have for your pet.
North Shore dog parents share their Rover experiences
Michaela is very professional and great at communicating. She was in touch promptly and very accommodating. She took such good care of Crispy. She’s willing to do extra long walks which my puppy needs. She’s a natural with dogs as well and very gentle and affectionate. Crispy and I can’t wait to book her again!

Tiffany was such a wonderful walker! We especially appreciate her openness to taking a short notice booking. She was very communicative and wanted to understand our dog Julie’s routine. You can tell Tiffany gets along well with all dogs as the moment she came in, Julie was excited and ready to meet a new friend!

Great experience with Mario! He reliable, communicative, and compassionate about the care of animals. I always get great updates and photos, and it’s clear my dog is happy and comfortable with him. Mario had been a huge help with walks and letting my puppy out during the day while I’m at work. Highly recommend!

Sarah is amazing!! She genuinely cares about your dog’s well being and sends updates after each walk. Which as a helicopter dog mom, I absolutely love. I had only ever trusted family to watch my dog Nash, so handing him off to someone new was a big deal for me. Sarah made it easy by meeting Nash before his first walk, and I immediately felt comfortable with him in her care. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and communicative, I 1000% recommend Sarah!

Richard walked our two dogs for the first time recently and the experience exceeded my expectations. Both are extra large dogs--80 and 130 pounds. Not easy customers (both react to deer, dogs, etc.), but he managed them very capably. He was very knowledgeable, timely, and attuned to the dogs needs, as well as agreeable to work with. Will definitely book him again.
