About: Check your dog into this historic 1857 Northside rowhouse DogBnB! Hi, I'm Damara! I have grown up with dogs my entire life. We recently said goodbye to our senior Boston Terrier in January of this year. We have owned multiple Boston Terriers for the past 20 years. I also recently fostered a Goberian (half Golden Retriever/half Husky) for 4 months so am comfortable with large dogs as well as small. I work a hybrid schedule that I manage myself so can be home most of the time with your pet. If I do need to be in the office I am only gone for 4-5 hours at a time. I have a fenced in, brick courtyard that's great for quick potty breaks and lounging in the sun. But I also really enjoy long walks so can accomodate whatever your pet prefers. Happy to discuss everything and will do whatever is best for your pet. We also own a Syrian Hamster named Cookie Dough that is completely secure in her enclosure. Your pet would have to be ok with children (extra play time for your pet) because I have a 9 year old daughter who is here most of the time. I will be the person providing care to your pet 100% of the time. At no time will my child be responsible for or left alone with your pet. Any additional questions, please ask. We are not yet ready for our own full time dog and we miss having one around so I figured we would give Rover a try. Look forward to meeting you and your pet. I’m a junior in college who absolutely adores dogs and also happens to want to make money for tuition😂 For the summer : *for house sitting, Im available every day but on weekdays I would need to leave from 4:30-7 to go to work. Mon-Thurs: any time up until 3:30pm or after 7pm Fri, Sat, Sun : free all day I am super flexible! During the summer I have a very open schedule - so we can work around it more. Once I start school again I’ll update my availability! I will treat your animals with the care, love, and respect they deserve. Everything I do, I put 110% into, and I’ll make sure your pups feel loved! I always make sure to check if there’s ever notes from the client, get the important things done (like meds, food, necessary walks/bathroom) and then be able to focus on playtime or whatever your pup wants!

About: I grew up in rural Louisiana and have been an animal whisperer and novice rescuer for as long as I can remember. I started helping neighbors with pet care and stray rehabilitation when I was a teenager. As a teen, I also worked on a farm and had exposure to many different types of animals. I have worked with other local professional pet care agencies here in Pittsburgh and I am a Certified Pet Saver (trained in pet care and basic first aid). I have experience working with challenging/reactive animals, senior pets and administering medications. My primary job for the past 10 years has been in-home social services, so I am very familiar with being in other homes and treating them with the same respect as my own. I am comfortable with all dogs and cats (and other critters), regardless of age or breed. I'm able to follow detailed instructions and I can also help with other house sitting needs: watering plants, taking the trash out, switching lights on and off, yard poop clean-up, bringing in mail and packages and other requests (within reason). I will make sure your pets and property are given the utmost respect and care while you are away and I will provide you with detailed updates per your preference. I do not have a fixed worked schedule. I do primarily care, some agency and some freelance, and no two weeks look the same. I try to keep my schedule here updated to reflect my weekly availability and if we schedule a visit, just know that is my commitment to you and your pet(s) at that time. I own my home and I have a fenced balcony that pups can relax on and enjoy the weather instead of being cooped up inside. I have an unfenced yard for potty breaks. I have two cats who are neutered, vaccinated, and very friendly. They are also okay around dogs, but I am able to keep them separated if needed. If your pet needs to be crated, you will need to provide that as I do not have a crate here. As far as visits in your home, I will follow whatever instructions you provide and treat your home and pet(s) as my own. I want them to feel as if nothing has changed in their routine while you are away.

About: I have owned my rescue dog Rita for five years, and grew up caring for cat and in dogs in my household. Rita is a high-energy dog who requires lots of exercise and has developed some special needs as she has gotten older. I will give any pet the care and attention that I give to Rita! I am generally available for walks and drop-in visits in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I have some flexibility to meet additional needs, as well. I keep my dog leashed and at my side whenever we are on a walk and closely monitor her when she is interacting with other dogs or people. I am happy to treat your pets with the same attentive care that I give to Rita!
