“Dmitra is the best!!! She walks our goldendoodle Griffin twice a week and is really amazing with him! Because of our schedules I usually have to tell her only a day or two in advance which days we need her help each week and she’s always really flexible and great about it! We also have cats that like to try to sneak out of the house, and she’s great about keeping an eye on them to make sure they stay in while she takes Griffin out for his walks. So glad we found her!!!”

“Shannon has been walking my pup for two weeks now and has been wonderful! The weather has been freezing and snowy and yet she has always showed up on time and has established a great relationship with my dog. She does a super job knowing when it’s too cold (or my dog just isn’t in the mood) to go for an extended walk and will just play with him inside a bit longer instead. Highly recommended!”

“Jordan is an exemplary dog walker in every sense. She is trustworthy, compassionate, and an excellent communicator. Our dog, Gravy, always leaves their walks happy and well exercised. We feel extremely lucky to have Jordan as a weekly walker and would strongly recommend her to anyone!”

“Ashley has been walking Thor for a few months now and since she started Thor has had some medical issues requiring Ashley to give him a pill. In addition he’s become more difficult and picky with eating. Ashley has been extremely supportive through this making sure she does what she can to get Thor to eat and take his pill.”

“Zeus just loves his walks with Chelsea. He is soo excited when she comes to take him for his walk. When I need a dog walker I will contact Chelsea. Many thanks”

“Natalie made me feel like I could easily leave town & enjoy myself knowing Ozzy was being well cared for! Not only does she have a great vibe that I picked up on, but Ozzy did as well. She walked him, played with him, & fed him while I was away. I would 100% recommend her services!”

About: I've taken care of dogs (either my own or pet-sitting) for the past 15 years. I have had many friends and family members rely on me to keep their pets fed, walked, played with, and loved while they are out! I also have experience with senior dogs, giving medication etc. My work schedule is fairly flexible, so it's super easy for me to fit pet care into my daily/weekly routines! I keep my home clean and safe for pups to venture around. I will send lots of pictures so you know your pet is happy and well taken care of. I have a fairly flexible full time job where I am able to work from home as needed. Additionally, when I need to be in person it is usually only for a few hours maximum. So I have plenty of time to be playing with and caring for your pups! I live in a very walkable neighborhood with lots of great spots for fur babies to use the bathroom and get their exercise in! I spend a lot of time after initial drop off trying to make your pet as comfortable and relaxed as possible! I'll also send you lots of pictures to alleviate some of the stress of leaving your pup with someone else. I spend a lot of time giving the pets I care for the same love and attention they would receive at home.

About: I have done overnights and drop in visits for a wide variety of dog breeds in the Pittsburgh area. I grew up with a golden retriever and the family dog is currently a Labrador. I have two cats. I work a hybrid remote schedule so I feel like this is the perfect opportunity to set time aside to care for pets! I have two cats that are spoiled rotten. Open communication and comfortability are key. I'm not afraid to ask questions to ensure I am providing the best possible care for your pet. Safety first

“Nick stopped by to meet me and our dog and he demonstrated instant rapport and skill with Dublin, our doodle. He showed up on time, he took Dub for a healthy walk and took the time to check in ahead because it was raining that day. We will consider Nick fir our future needs.”

“J.M. was great with my dog Grits. They came on time, gave a thorough report, and sent some cute proof of life pictures that brightened up my day at work. Thank you J.M.!”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, ranging from dogs and cats to horses and pigs. I have trained two family puppies. I’ve done cat rescues for about 8 years, and I also have had my own cat, minerva :) Pet care fits into my daily routine as a cat owner, as I ensure she always has food and water. We also cuddle everyday, and have lots of playtime. Several times a week, I clean her litter box so that it’s never too dirty. In my own home and any others, I like to spend a lot of quality time with the pets present. When I’m home, my cat Minerva is glued to my side most of the time. When I visit my parents, I still get to see my dogs from home that I helped raise and train. I’m also working on harness training my cat.

About: The moment I became eligible, I applied to volunteer as a dog walker at a local rescue shelter in Syracuse, New York. This experience allowed me to care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, deepening my understanding of animal behavior and needs. Growing up with a paralyzed French Bulldog also gave me firsthand experience in providing compassionate, specialized care for animals with disabilities. I begin my full-time job in mid-August, so I’m currently not working and have wide open availability. I'm flexible and happy to work with your schedule to ensure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve! I provide attentive, well-rounded care tailored to each animal’s needs and comfort level. I prioritize reading a dog’s body language to ensure they feel safe. Whether it takes 15 minutes for a shy pup to warm up to me or I’m immediately on the floor playing with an energetic dog, I adapt my approach based on their temperament, size, and energy level. I aim to create a calm, positive environment so every pet feels secure.

“Just had our first walk with Connor last night and it went great! My dog came back happy and relaxed. You can tell Connor is a natural with dogs-kind, attentive, and reliable. Looking forward to more walks!”

“Hannah was amazing with Harper. Harper has extreme anxiety, and Hannah calmed her fears as well as mine. We were extremely satisfied with her dog walking services, and would use her again. We would also recommend her to any one that needs dog walking services. -Kim, Barb, & Harper”

About: I've primarily cared for friends' dogs, and my partner and I currently have a toy poodle puppy and a (hyperactive) Silky Terrier. Former corgi owner as well. Great with over-excited dogs and will baby the heck out of them during our time together. Reach out about large dogs as can certainly handle well-behaved ones. Based in Lawrenceville. I'm a freelance film worker and decided to take this on to fill in my down days. I'm obsessed with dogs and essentially treat them like my children. I can usually take on jobs with minimal notice because of this. As someone who is paranoid about his own dogs' safety, I take this very seriously. I'm extremely cautious about leash and harness checks, and am hyper-aware of your dog when I'm with them.

“Super sweet with the dogs and they love her!! Will only be booking with Martine in the future!”

“Really appreciated the walks for Daisy. She needs to burn off a lot of energy, so thanks to Emily she didn’t destroy our home. Lol”

“Linn is so sweet! This was my first experience with Rover and I’m so thankful that I booked with Linn. She went above and beyond and met with me/my dog a couple of days before walking her, just to ensure that my dog would recognize a friendly face coming to walk her. You can tell Linn is a total animal lover and is great w dogs. Wonderful communicator, can’t recommend highly enough!”

About: I've taken care and loved many different types of dogs and cats ever since I was a child. From Family to friends I would walk, bathe, and feed their pets. I am currently working part time and and would like to pick up some extra income now and when I have to go back to school. I have a one bedroom spacious appt that has a large living room and a nice sized kitchen. My appt complex has a fenced in yard that is for tenants that have pets.

About: I’ve had dogs as long as I can remember. Sam, my last dog, was a rescue from the streets of Greece. I learned how to accommodate his disabilities and he was very loved! I just moved to the strip and do not start my full-time job until the beginning of July. I spend a lot of time outdoors and would love to share my free time with some pet company! I have a smoke-free home, with no animals or children. I can easily crate if provided. There is a gated yard and plenty of trails for walking.
