About: I have had three dogs in my life and now miss hanging out with them since they have passed away. I am currently a cat dad to two cats, Phoebe and Gomez. I like to walk and get outside and dogs just make it better! I work from home so I can be available during working hours if needed and I'm a new human dad and need to stay active for him. I know the neighborhood very well and would love to share that with your pups! I currently work from home in Pittsburgh and can be available to most times, except the early mornings or late nights since i also have a human baby. I have walked all sizes of dogs and can make sure they don't get into trouble and will have lots of safe fun! I know my way around other pet interactions and where to avoid in the city.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood, whether my own, or for friends, family, and neighbors. I will treat your sweet dog or cat as my own. I can go on long or short walks, can administer medications, can play or provide sweet loving attention to your fur babies. I work part-time, so I’m happy to be at your home or taking care of your dog/cat before 9 and after 5 pm on Tuesdays-Thursdays. The other days of the week/weekend I can be there as often as you’d like, for as long as you’d like. I can walk dogs for as long as you need, we can work out a schedule that works best. My yard is partially fenced, so I fully intend to watch your dog during outdoor time if you are not one to use a lead. My house is 3-stories so perfect for any size animal. At the client’s home, I will follow your instructions as close as possible, and can provide a safe and loving presence. The only caveat is my house has 2 cats, so we must be sure the the visiting dog is safe with cats.

About: Hi! I’m currently focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits, and I’m not offering boarding at the moment. I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I started taking care of pets for family friends about five years ago when I was living in Boston, and since then I’ve gained experience with dogs at different stages of their lives. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while staying with me. I understand how important it is for pet parents to know their dog is in good hands, so I always do my best to provide attentive and thoughtful care. I usually work best with calm dogs who are comfortable relaxing on their own. For boarding, dogs should be able to stay home alone for a few hours and should not have severe separation anxiety. I’m more experienced with smaller dogs (under 25 lbs) and enjoy spending time walking, playing, and making sure they feel at home. Initially, I would ask pet parent to answer a list of questions I found helpful to know. For example, what’s the daily walking/sleeping/exercise/wasting routine. I will also take pictures/videos through out the day, and send them daily to keep parents updated through the boarding period.

About: I've cared for various kinds of pets over my whole life and at one point was able to become an AKC trained dog trainer! I've since changed jobs to a patient sitter at a nearby hospital and miss the new animals being in my life. I'd love to get a chance to meet your pets and help care for them! I work 3 inconsistent days from either 630am-pm or 630pm-am throughout the week but can make changes as needed to work up to 3 days a week for a client outside of that! I feel that all pets have a wide range of personalities and needs but the important thing is to work with them to achieve their physical and emotional needs! I have 2 cats with vastly different attitudes and I make sure to tailor my care for them in specific ways like being a safety person for my cat while she's eating or training my partners cat to ask for attention and treats more politely. When it comes to dogs I have a training in positive reinforcement and dog behaviors and will try to engage with breed specific enrichment on top of whatever schedule the pet parents have for their dog.

About: My name is Aleah and I’m finishing my last semester of nursing school! I have previously fostered a dog and 2 cats (one of which became my foster fail!). While in school I have 2 cats of my own who are the loves of my life. Any pet under my care will feel as though they are one of my own. I cannot wait to get started!! I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of time to look after your pets! I am available every day, just not Tuesday-Thursday between 4pm and 8pm! I care for clients pets by walking the dogs and making sure they get enough cuddles and food/ treats. I also make sure the dogs get plenty of exercise because it can be hrs on them when their owners are away. Sometimes, I even spend the night at clients houses to ensure the Pets don’t have to be alone, but I wouldn’t do this if you weren’t comfortable with it.

About: i grew up with dogs and recently had a large German Shepherd i had in my care in her golden years. i have experience administering medication, lifting to accommodate physical disabilities, and basic training. i'm a proponent of being a consistent presence in your pet's life to build trust—but i will be in Pittsburgh until the end of July. with that being said, i am great at practicing consistency, patience, and compassionate care. i am an artist, and i am usually painting and working on projects every day 10am - 2pm, and other than that i am available :) i do not have any pets of my own, so i am happy to spend as much time with them as possible since my work is flexible. i follow exact feeding/exercise schedule, ensure the house is secure, notice subtle changes in behavior and health. to provide a peace of mind, i update clients often.

About: I LOVE playing and running around with dogs and am happy to take your dog on long walks or on a romp in the dog park. I'm currently on sabbatical, so I have lots of free time to spend with your pets... and I will because I miss my pet time! My husband is allergic, so Rover is how I get to spend time with furry friends. For dogs, I keep an eye out for dangerous situations when on walks with dogs and ensure that we give a wide berth to any possible threats. For cats, I make sure that I respect their boundaries and don't stress them out as we're getting to know each other. I am also very careful when entering and leaving to ensure they don't escape.

About: I have been around my friends', neighbors', relatives', roommates' dogs for the majority of my life. Whenever they needed walked, we did that. When someone was out of town and their dog needed companionship and care, I would oblige. I've even taken dogs camping! - side note - I've got experience with larger animals like horses and cows, through work and camping. And as a conservationist, I've been blessed to immerse myself in the habitats of a variety of different animals, the world over. I have the flexibility with my primary work and my home-life to be available at flexible times for pet care. As long as things are communicated well, I predict smooth sailing. Pets are animals; sentient beings. As it is in my home, so will it be in yours. A pet deserves respect and love, and probably a good chunk of your immediate attention. In general, I place courtesy and respect high on the importance-scale, which means that I will treat your home with care. I have no problems following house rules that ensure the pet's comfort and your peace-of-mind.
