About: I am a lifelong animal lover! I have had dogs my whole life, and currently have 2 senior dogs that I am trusted to take care of. In addition, I pet sit for neighbors when they are away, and have done so throughout high school and college. I also adopted a cat in 2021, doing the necessary research for cat ownership! And have had a gecko, so I am no stranger to reptiles. I am currently a student at Pitt, majoring in education. I am available Mondays (evenings), Tuesdays (morning/evening), Wednesday (evening), Thursdays (morning/evening), Fridays (evenings), Saturdays, and Sundays!! The longest I am away when petsitting is no more than 6 hours (Mondays and Wednesdays). I try to be as available as possible when taking care of pets. This means staying with them as much as possible, spending the night, etc. At the owners request! I also don’t mind doing work such as bathroom cleanup, brushing, certain foods, administering pills, etc. Whenever I take care of someone’s animals, I like to treat them as my own and prioritize their wellbeing!

I’m currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh, which actually gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I have breaks throughout the day between classes, so I’m able to stop by for walks, drop-ins, or check-ins without rushing. Evenings are usually wide open for longer visits or house-sitting, and weekends are very flexible as well. My schedule is consistent week to week, so you can count on reliable care and clear communication about my availability. Since I provide care in my clients’ homes, my priority is always to maintain a safe, calm, and familiar environment for your pets. I follow your routines exactly; feeding schedules, walk routes, crate rules, playtime, and any house guidelines you prefer so your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m very mindful of doors, gates, and leashes to prevent escapes, and I make sure your home stays tidy and respected throughout my stay. I communicate frequently with updates and photos so you always know how things are going, and I’m attentive to any changes in behavior or appetite. About: Hi my name is Julia, I am 25 years old living in Pittsburgh, PA. For all 25 years I have lived, I have been surrounded by animals. I grew up with three dogs, who I care for deeply. We also had a neighborhood cat who I really consider a part of the family! I have spent countless time caring for the pets of family members, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and even my hairdresser! About: I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I started taking care of pets for family friends about five years ago when I was living in Boston, and since then I’ve gained experience with dogs at different stages of their lives. I usually work best with calm dogs who are comfortable relaxing on their own. For boarding, dogs should be able to stay home alone for a few hours and should not have severe separation anxiety. I’m more experienced with smaller dogs (under 25 lbs) and enjoy spending time walking, playing, and making sure they feel at home. Initially, I would ask pet parent to answer a list of questions I found helpful to know. For example, what’s the daily walking/sleeping/exercise/wasting routine. I will also take pictures/videos through out the day, and send them daily to keep parents updated through the boarding period.

I have experience walking dogs of all sizes in urban and suburban areas as well as experience with puppies and potty training. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love getting to know each one’s personality. I grew up with a dachshund for nearly 14 years, which taught me the responsibility and consistency that great pet care requires. As I got older, my dad and I also hosted dogs through Rover in our home, so I’m very familiar with caring for dogs in a home environment, helping them adjust to new spaces, and keeping them comfortable while their owners are away. I also have hands-on experience working in a dog daycare, where I supervised playgroups of 20+ dogs at a time. I managed group dynamics, kept play safe and positive, handled feeding routines, cleaned up after dogs, and moved them between spaces. That experience made me very confident in reading dog body language and stepping in early to keep things fun and safe. I’m active and love walks, playtime, and just hanging out with dogs. I’m a CMU student who loves spending time with animals outside of class. My schedule allows me to be available throughout the week and on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. About: For more than 10 years, I have volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I care for dogs by feeding, walking, and supporting their daily needs. I have been a lifelong dog owner and have developed a strong understanding of their care and behavior. I currently have two dogs: a dachshund and a medium-sized Labrador/Pit Bull mix. Spending time with dogs is something I enjoy, and caring for them is rewarding. Their companionship brings me a great deal of happiness.
