About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and got my own puppy 3 years ago. He’s a Bernese Mountain dog and I have learned to take care of him. About: I cared for my family’s dog for the better part of ten years. I have walked and cared for many families' and friends' dogs and am especially adept at handling high-energy pups. I can provide vigorous walks, if needed, or more relaxed jaunts for older dogs. I am very attuned to dogs' needs and will provide prompt and frequent bathroom breaks, play breaks, or training sessions, as requested and/or needed. I work part time and have flexible hours, so I can be available to take care of your pets at most times of the day if you book far enough in advance. I can pet-sit every night of the week. I am careful to provide a level of care that is curated to the individual needs of each pet. Every pet has different needs and preferences, and it is essential to build trust with a pet to ensure their well-being and safety. I am extremely patient with pets and capable of gently handling pets of all energy levels, sizes, and dispositions.
