8. Jared W.
About: Hi I'm Jared. I have 12+ years caring for animals and the last 2 years in a professional setting. If you want someone that loves animals taking care of your loved ones I'm your guy! I go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the morning, and am willing to work with most schedules! Unfortunately, my schedule changes a bit every semester because of school, but I can be flexible. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask :) I do drop in visits, pet sitting, and dog walking! I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small animals (hamsters, guinea pigs, etc), and fish. I know first hand that leaving your pets while traveling can be extremely stressful. I'm here to help you know your pets are being cared for.
9. Holly M.
“Holly is one of the most loving humans I know. She's very responsible and in tune with the emotional and physical needs of all living things.”
10. Maya T.
“Maya is fantastic!!! We are incredibly grateful for her help. We have a very nervous/anxious/shy little dog named Ambar. We decided to use Rover to help her get used to meeting new people. Initially, Ambar barked at Maya all the time. But Maya was very patient, and after more meetings and walks outside, they became best friends. We are so happy with Ambar progress!!”
11. Alex M.
“Very reliable, accomodating, nice guy. Both of my dogs took to him immediately. He showed up at the same time every day and gave them great walks. Will absolutely use again.”
12. Becca H.
“Becca was fantastic! She watched our cattle dog for 2 weeks 3 times a day. Becca went above and beyond to make sure our pup was comfortable and safe. You are in good hands with her.”
13. Casey G.
“As Casey's manager I can say she is a very dependable worker. She brings a lot of passion and intrigue to all of her pursuits. Casey is notorious in her jobs for bringing an additional level of fun and flare. She conducted many polls with our customers and staff at Speckled Ax. Making just another day at work very entertaining. Her communication is very good and she will excel at coordinating schedules with dog owners and the animals themselves! Additionally, she is an animal lover. And a responsible cat owner for many years. We never go a conversation without talking about the cats, they normally aren't far from her (: She once remarked a goal in life that she wanted to exclusively adopt old dogs and give them the best last years of their life and I really admire her for that ! She would be a great addition to Rover.”
14. Emily G.
About: All my life, I have had pets (dogs, cats, and gerbils). My pet sitting journey began in high school and continued on through college. Even during the time that I was a full-time college student and part-time grocery store worker, I continued to graciously take on pet care duties for the 3 same families, such as daily dog walking, overnight stays, and daily check-ins. The pets I have the most experiencing caring for over several years are cats and dogs. The services I am comfortable to provide and well versed in are daily dog walking, daily check-ins, and overnight stays. I do have experience with providing oral medication and eye drops. I am happy to learn and become efficient in any other medication administration. I now am a young adult seeking more fulfilling work that aligns with my values of helping others and the community. Taking care of animals has always been a passion of mine. I am extremely excited to begin working with animals again to bring more joy into my life while also helping support my fellow pet parents around Pittsburgh! I currently work part-time Monday-Friday. For Monday-Friday, my best availability for walks and check-ins are in the morning between 7am-12:30pm and in the evenings 6:30-8:30pm. Fridays, Saturday, and Sunday I have full availability for both walks and check ins. I do not have overnight stays publicized on Rover. However, if I become well acquainted with you and your pet(s), and feel comfortable to offer overnight stays, and vice versa, I will happily offer them! I will have yours and your pets best interest at heart when caring for them. I ensure that I will get to know your pet and treat them as my very own! My visits with your pet will never be brief! I like to take my time to get to know your pet(s) and bond with them to make them feel safe and comfortable around me. I would be more than happy to send text and photo updates to put your mind at ease while your pet is in my care. Just as I will love and care for your pet, I will treat your home the same. Any and all instructions will be followed to maintain the safety and security of your home when providing walks, daily check-ins an/or overnight stays!

16. David T.
“David is fantastic. Communication is prompt. Flexibility is great. Walking my Shelley (who pulls) is difficult, and David handled it with aplomb. Shelley loved him. Will use David again and again.”
17. Giulia G.
“Giulia took great care of my dog while I was on vacation. She was prompt and my dog took to her easily. She kept in great contact with me during my trip which made me feel more at ease. I would use Giulia again!”
18. Ann C.
“I can’t say enough about how great Ann has been walking Hank. She previously house sat for me so Hank already knew her and loved her. But this time I needed someone urgently to walk him because I had surgery and my usual dog walker wasn’t able to walk him. I reached out to Ann through Rover and she accepted and has been wonderful. Hank has been a little freaked out because his life is very different. Ann has been so patient and sweet with him. She is extremely reliable. I recommend Ann .”
19. Haley R.
“Over the years of her petsitting career, I have watched Haley build relationships of trust and compassion with her clients and their animals. She is attentive, communicative, and responsible. She intuitively understands the needs and boundaries of both animals and humans alike. I have trusted her many times with my dogs while I travel, and have several friends who have come to me with similarly glowing reviews after working with her.”
20. Neil B.
“I've known Neil for almost 2 years now and have seen first-hand how loving, caring, and playful Neil is with any animal in his presence. Whether his own cat, my cat Blaze, his parents' dogs - you name it, Neil will make them feel like a celebrity in his care. I would recommend Neil across the board for any pet care needs.”
