About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I recently graduated from college and moved to the city, and I’m excited to continue spending time with animals through dog walking and pet sitting. Over the years, I’ve pet sat and walked dogs for neighbors, friends, and family members, giving me experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. My family has Dane Mastiffs, so I’m very comfortable handling large breeds, but I also adore small dogs like my aunt’s two mini dachshunds. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important routines, exercise, patience, and affection are for dogs, and I’ll always treat your pet like part of the family. I’m dependable, attentive, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your pup is in good hands! I work full-time, but my schedule is similar to shift work. I have open mornings and the occasional free weekend! Pet care is something I enjoy, gets me outside, and is a little bit of exercise all at once. I’m organized, dependable, and committed to making sure pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening feedings, I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and provide updates (and lots of pictures!) so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. My goal is for the pets to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. That means sticking to their routine, staying in familiar environments, and being aware of the surrounding stressors. I am great at following clear instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, litter box care, and any special routines their pets are used to. I also keep homes clean and tidy, provide regular updates and photos, and make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I can provide services at the client's home; I don't have boarding facilities.

About: I’ve been working with a variety of dogs of all different breeds for roughly 6 years via dog walking, dog sitting, etc! I love dogs of all kinds! I’m a doctoral student of occupational therapy, so most of my time is spent working via fieldwork and doing homework. I am free on Tuesdays & Thursdays for drop ins/walks, and on weekends for housesitting. I’m happy to help with any household needs specified during housesitting! Please leave me comprehensive instructions for caring for your pet(s), including meal details/times, walking schedule, etc.

About: I have had dogs in my household since I was a baby. I moved to pittsburgh in 2021, and before that was living with my parents who had four dogs! Right now, I have 3 cats. I love to dogsit and spend time with other people's babies! I have experience in dog sitting, and have spent some time working in dog daycare/boarding. I am currently not working a typical job so I am available 7 days a week most weeks and can spend all of my time with your pet if needed! About: Hi! I'm Tara. I'm a 44 year old dog/plant-lover originally from Pittsburgh. I live with a beautiful 10 year old 101lb. pup named Joe that I take care of everyday for the past 3 years. Maybe, you've seen us around! I have experience with dogs of all ages. I can follow an outline of your preferred routine for your loved one or create one, if you'd prefer. The dog is welcome to sleep with me on overnight stays, if you'd like. With me, your pet will be safe and well-cared for while you're away. Available for quick drop-ins, as well! I'm comfortable with giving Joe medicine, brushings, baths, nail-clippings, and tooth-brushings. I have great references from people that have left me in the care of their dog while away on vacation. Each dog was in my care for a week at my home and sent home happy. Prior to those sits, I lived with a roommate's dog for a couple of years. Currently I cannot host, but I am happy to come to you! We have a 10 year old 101lb Weimaraner/Pit mix named Joe Biden. He's patiently taken out several times throughout the day starting in the morning. He's fed 3 times per day with treats and snuggles in-between, of course. I WFH, so I'm with him all day. I'm more than happy to follow you and your pet's specific schedule. When pet-sitting, I take them out 4-5 times/day and try to give them a set of different routes to sniff in order to keep life exciting for them. However, a specific route will definitely be honored. I make sure that they are entertained and feel loved throughout the day.

During the fall, my daytime schedule may be more restricted, but I am usually at home at least a couple of days of the week! I have a household of a dog (cattle dog mix) and two kitties who are all very animal friendly! However, if your fur baby is not a fan of other animals, I am happy to stay at your home and follow your preferences as far as house conduct goes.

About: Hello! My name is Rachael, and I'm a graduate student who loves animals. My black cat, Zelda, has lived and traveled with me through six different countries and now lives with me here in Pittsburgh. I was raised in a household full of dog people and always lived with at least two dogs at any given time, so I have a lot of experience caring for and playing with dogs of various sizes and personalities. I also am experienced with caring for various other kinds of pets, from hedgehogs to lizards to fish to frogs. I'm a PhD student with a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I typically schedule walks and drop-ins for the morning or evening. I also have no classes on Fridays and a lot of flexibility on weekends! I like to fit walks and visits into my daily routine in a way that helps me to get some extra steps in. When petsitting in a client's home, I always review all the instructions carefully. It's helpful for me to know as much as possible about the pet, such as any health or behavioral concerns I should be aware of, likes and dislikes, etc. I always respect a pet's boundaries and prioritize their safety and wellbeing. I also make sure to check in with the client regularly and alert them immediately of any concerns that need to be brought to their attention.
