Everything was as it should be on our return (litter scooped, water bowls filled, mail brought in) and the cats didn't have any tales of woe to report. (This happened once, one of the cats repeatedly told me a story for several days on our return, not sure what he was telling me, but it was not typical.)”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and they have always been cherished and treated as members of my family. Also have experience looking after my neighbors’ pets while they have been away. I just love dogs so much so it’s not even a chore for me! I work from home 5 days a week, so my schedule is very flexible for afternoon walks or drop ins! Weekend afternoons are also usually good. At my parents home we would always have a fenced in yard and usually keep the dogs on a leash of some sort outside (we have a long one for the yard so they can still run around) For younger dogs we always crate when we’re not around until they are trained!

About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. I am very attuned to dogs' needs and will provide prompt and frequent bathroom breaks, play breaks, or training sessions, as requested and/or needed. I work part time and have flexible hours, so I can be available to take care of your pets at most times of the day if you book far enough in advance. I can pet-sit every night of the week. I am careful to provide a level of care that is curated to the individual needs of each pet. Every pet has different needs and preferences, and it is essential to build trust with a pet to ensure their well-being and safety. I am extremely patient with pets and capable of gently handling pets of all energy levels, sizes, and dispositions.

About: I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember and have been caring for cats and dogs since I was a little girl. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding that every animal has their own unique personality and needs. Over the years, I've cared for and babysat pets for friends, family, and neighbors, earning their trust through dependable, compassionate care. My experience includes caring for cats and dogs of all ages, breeds, sizes, energy levels, and temperaments—from playful puppies and energetic dogs to senior pets who need a little extra patience and attention, as well as independent cats and affectionate lap cats alike. I understand that some pets warm up quickly while others need time to build trust, and I always let them set the pace. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, cleaning litter boxes, or simply providing companionship and comfort while you're away, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and well cared for, while giving you peace of mind knowing they're in reliable hands. I work full time out of the home, but can be available to board animals overnight on weekdays for (1) night with a pick up by 7:30 AM the following day and can board or house-visit over the weekend (Drop off Friday after 4PM thru Sundays-pick up by 5 pm Sunday). I can do house visits any week day after 4 PM. I have a fenced in backyard and a very walkable, safe neighborhood. My home is a pet's paradise with lots of comfy couches and plenty of space to run and play, and windows for clocking in for Neighborhood Watch :) I don't mind animals sleeping with me, if they want to! Otherwise, plenty of places for furry ones to nap and snooze whenever they choose.
