“Thanks so much to Lara for filling in when my dog walker was out of town. It was so appreciated and I will certainly be contacting her again in the future for fill ins!”

“Denyal sent me updates and was very patient with my dogs. This was our first time using a dog-walking service and one of my dogs was a bit nervous to meet someone new, but Denyal got him to warm up to her and have fun on his walk! Highly recommend!”

“Sarah was a lifesaver when we had a small emergency and needed someone to walk our sweet pittie. They had a great walk and she left her at home tuckered out and ready for a rest!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs all my life. I’ve baby sat for mostly dogs. My cat takes insulin twice a day so can give your pet medication. I have a 2010 jeep compass so I can fit a small to large dog in my car if you want me to take your dog to a park. I work full time in downtown but I have control of my own schedule so I’m pretty much available for any shift. I work full time in downtown but I control my own work schedule. I’m available whenever. I already get up really early on a regular based. I have about 5 years experience, checking in on pets feeding, walking and giving medication. I am very respectful of other peoples property and would violate trust
About: I’ve always been a dog and cat lover. Growing up, I was only permitted to have a pets as long as I swore to take on all the responsibilities of having one. I’m familiar with the dynamic it takes for caring for and exercising younger dogs versus older dogs, as I had my dog since she was a puppy and cared for her well into her senior years until we had to say goodbye after nearly 15 incredible years together. I appreciate getting to know the personalities of all dogs and cats, and I really enjoy spending time with them. I am currently a medical student studying podiatry, so my schedule is rather flexible until my graduation in May 2026. I can adjust to your schedule and tend to your fur baby whenever is best for you! I have a dog savvy cat who I try to play with regularly as I recognize how important it is for all pets to have mental stimulation. I have a small yard for any dogs to relieve themselves under my supervision. I love going for walks and always enjoy to have a dog to keep me company on them!
“Ashley is absolutely incredible! She brings her own poop bags and treats and is very attentive to Finn’s needs. She sends me picture and video updates which soothes my separation anxiety! I am going to continue to use her services, as Finn already is attached to her.”

About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.
“Great experience with Mario! He reliable, communicative, and compassionate about the care of animals. I always get great updates and photos, and it’s clear my dog is happy and comfortable with him. Mario had been a huge help with walks and letting my puppy out during the day while I’m at work. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood, whether my own, or for friends, family, and neighbors. I will treat your sweet dog or cat as my own. I can go on long or short walks, can administer medications, can play or provide sweet loving attention to your fur babies. I work part-time, so I’m happy to be at your home or taking care of your dog/cat before 9 and after 5 pm on Tuesdays-Thursdays. The other days of the week/weekend I can be there as often as you’d like, for as long as you’d like. I can walk dogs for as long as you need, we can work out a schedule that works best. My yard is partially fenced, so I fully intend to watch your dog during outdoor time if you are not one to use a lead. My house is 3-stories so perfect for any size animal. At the client’s home, I will follow your instructions as close as possible, and can provide a safe and loving presence. The only caveat is my house has 2 cats, so we must be sure the the visiting dog is safe with cats.
About: I've been a trusted pet sitter, dog walker, and house sitter in my Massachusetts hometown for over five years, building lasting relationships with both pets and their people. This past summer alone, I spent nearly every week caring for dogs, cats, birds—even a couple of lizards! I treat every animal like they’re my own, taking the time to understand their routines, personalities, and quirks. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs long walks or a shy cat who just wants quiet company, I adjust to their needs with patience and love. What truly sets me apart is the genuine care I bring to every job. I’m not just doing this for extra money—I love animals, and it shows. I bring consistency, communication, and warmth, so you can feel totally confident your pets (and home!) are in great hands. I know how much trust it takes to leave your beloved companions with someone—and I never take that for granted. As a college student at the University of Pittsburgh, my weekday schedule can be a bit busy, but I make pet care a top priority! I’m typically available: Tuesdays after 2:15 PM Wednesdays after 1:00 PM Thursdays after 2:15 PM Fridays after 1:00 PM Weekends: Fully available all day Saturday and Sunday I’m based near the University of Pittsburgh campus and primarily looking to stay in that area, but I’m happy to travel a bit further for the right fit. I’m all about being dependable and working with your needs — just reach out and we can make it work! When I care for pets in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, loved, and completely comfortable in their routine. I treat your pets and your space with the utmost respect and care, just like I would with my own. I have experience with a wide range of animals—dogs of all sizes, from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle giants like Great Danes, as well as cats, birds, and even reptiles. I’m confident on walks and always in control, but I also know when patience and gentleness are key, especially with pets that may be shy, anxious, or energetic. I pride myself on adapting to each animal’s personality and needs. As a proud cat mom of three (including one who needs a little extra love and attention), I also understand the unique quirks and care routines cats often require. I’ll keep things tidy, stick to your pet’s routine, and send regular updates so you always know how things are going. I genuinely love what I do, and I work hard to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away.
“Wallis was very considerate to come and meet Murphy before our scheduled walk and visit. She was very dependable and came right on time to take Murphy out. I would definitely have her again”

About: Ive had dogs my entire life, and am now step mom to two cats! I have been taking care of my own animals and housesitting/taking care of others for as long as I can remember I work part time for an afterschool program around 2pm, so I have wide availability in the mornings and would be more than happy to walk or check in on your pets! I will always treat your pet with love and care as if they’re my own. Also very important that we have the conversation before hand as to what you prefer and I am happy to oblige.
“Valerie has been wonderful to work with! I feel so comfortable leaving Finn with her, and he seems to welcome her company. She’s also very responsive and gives detailed summaries. I definitely recommend her!!”

Arlington dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jordan has been FABULOUS!! She walks our amazing goldendoodle 3 times a week, and our pup couldn’t love it more if she tried. Jordan is incredibly kind and loving to our doodle, and we are so thankful to have found her. We love her kind and detailed updates after each visit, and love when she shares cute pictures taken throughout their walks! She is incredibly dedicated too - even walking our pup in this crazy winter weather we’re having! Highly recommend Jordan to anyone and everyone - she’s the best of the best!

Anna is wonderful! She’s easy to communicate with and my elderly dog pepper feels at ease with her. It was easy to talk with her about peppers various needs and she did not hesitate to ask clarifying questions and make sure she was prepared. Would highly recommend! Thank you!
