One cat has to take a pill and she reassured me that all was well at home. She also watered my indoor plants and took the used kitty litter to the curb on trash night. (So there was not an unliftable bag of litter to haul out upon return.). All interactions in person and text were great. My cats, including the shy one who gets the pill, really seemed to like her and interacted well with her.”
About: I have two dogs of my own and have plenty of experience caring for, walking, and giving them attention. I love walks and giving every dog lots of love! I also have experience walking and taking care of neighbors pets! I am currently a full time student at Duquesne University! I am available for drop ins and dog walks Tuesday/Thurs 12:30-2:30pm and 5-7pm. As well as M,W,F 3:30pm-7pm. I am a 21 year old and very active in order to walk any dog of any size and will take care of all dogs like they are my own!

Cauliflower, my childhood dog, was one of the joys of my life and now, I get to share that joy with my kids by taking care of your beloved pet. We are a flexible, homeschooled family willing to take jobs during the day and on weekends. We value slow living and try our best not to overschedule our lives, leaving room for opportunities like pet care. We have a loving home and can cater to your pet’s needs. About: What sets me apart is how much I genuinely care about making pets feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I grew up with dogs and have two Labradoodles back home with my mom, so I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I’m very attentive to each pet’s personality and routine—whether they’re super playful, a little shy, or a total Velcro pet who wants to be by my side 24/7. I’m also big on communication, so you can expect plenty of pictures and updates while you’re away. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is getting lots of attention, affection, and care! I work full-time in downtown Pittsburgh during the weekdays, with the flexibility to work remotely at least one day per week and occasionally additional days as needed. I have plenty of availability throughout the week for pet sitting, including early mornings, evenings, and overnight stays, with generally full availability on weekends! I’m always happy to coordinate around your pet’s normal routine to make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship! I want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away, so I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as I can! I’m happy to stick to specific feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications, or any other instructions you leave for me. I’ll give them plenty of attention and affection while also respecting their personality and space. I’m very respectful of clients’ homes and will always leave things just as I found them. And of course, you can expect lots of pictures and updates so you know your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for!

My dog is always very excited to see Akira! He’s taken the time to get to know my dog, who is not immediately in love with everyone, and I’ve been able to hire him for weekly check-ins. Communication is super easy. Akira has a calm and kind presence that is a great counterbalance for my dog with big feelings. At the same time, he can bring out my dog’s playful side which I believe helps reduce my dog’s stress of having someone other than his family come inside the house.
Polina did an amazing job taking care of my two cats! She is the first person I've hired through Rover and I could not be more happy with the attention and love she gave to my cats while I was away. I never had to worry that my cats were well and responsibility cared for while Polina was watching them. I would definitely work with her again for my pet care highly recommend her to others!
Lara did an excellent job caring for my diabetic cat while I was away for three days. She came twice a day to administer insulin injections right on time, every 12 hours. The cat seemed very happy and well treated when I got back. The cat likes to be brushed, and Lara took the time to keep him well brushed.
Divya is an excellent sitter, and on such short notice too. The write-ups she gave looking after my cat while I was out of town were quite detailed and the pictures she took were adorable. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing that someone so attentive was checking in on him and giving him bit of company each day.
Pulpo recieved the most purrrrrfect care from Brooke and her family. He was obviously looking forward to seeing them and had a lot of fun each time they came. We got the sweetest photos and updates each visit and came home to a very content creature. 100% recommend!
