About: Hello! My name is Rachael, and I'm a graduate student who loves animals. My black cat, Zelda, has lived and traveled with me through six different countries and now lives with me here in Pittsburgh. I was raised in a household full of dog people and always lived with at least two dogs at any given time, so I have a lot of experience caring for and playing with dogs of various sizes and personalities. I also am experienced with caring for various other kinds of pets, from hedgehogs to lizards to fish to frogs. I'm a PhD student with a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I typically schedule walks and drop-ins for the morning or evening. I also have no classes on Fridays and a lot of flexibility on weekends! I like to fit walks and visits into my daily routine in a way that helps me to get some extra steps in. When petsitting in a client's home, I always review all the instructions carefully. It's helpful for me to know as much as possible about the pet, such as any health or behavioral concerns I should be aware of, likes and dislikes, etc. I always respect a pet's boundaries and prioritize their safety and wellbeing. I also make sure to check in with the client regularly and alert them immediately of any concerns that need to be brought to their attention.

About: I had numerous dogs growing up and currently have one of my own, Finley, a Goldendoodle; I adore looking after pets and others. Dogs of all energy levels are welcome as I have a large yard, great for playtime, and plenty of space to accommodate others. Plenty of experience with medicines and special needs animals, too. Routine is key with time management to make sure there’s adequate time for play and adventure. Every morning starts with a walk, and I typically take my own pet to the park twice a day. My home has an enclosed backyard with ample space to run around. When house/petsitting, I’ll always ensure pets are on a leash before exiting to run errands or go for a walk.

About: I'm a dog mom myself & I treat every dog with the exact same love, patience, and care that I give my own. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care requires total peace of mind, which is why I prioritize strict attention to routine, safety, and proactive communication. I currently work from 7am - 3pm on weekdays. I am fully available on weekends and overnights. After 3pm on weekdays I am fully available for drop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard, and a Golden Retriever who is very friendly and well trained. I make sure there is always a water in my dogs bowl and I am on schedule with her feeding times.

About: There hasn’t been a time where there wasn’t a cat or dog running around my house! All of my animals have lived past the age of 15, so they are well taken care of. I love all animals and really would save them all if I could. My Rover promise to you is to treat your pets like I treat my own with nothing but love, kindness, and definitely some treats ;)! I set my own schedule by working with special needs adults, so I can usually be flexible if given at least a few hours notice. I have a senior dog that is 15 years old and her name is Reese. I also have a very hyper 4 year old Great Pyrenees/Anolian shepherd who absolutely loves everyone! I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and also dogs with disabilities. I have been in the medical field for over 20 years, so it feels like Christmas morning every day when I get back to my fur babies. I’m at a point in my life where my daughter is an adult, so I have finally have extra time again. I would treat your pet like I treat my own babies!

About: I’ve looked after multiple dogs of different breeds and sizes so I have experience looking after nearly all kinds of dogs. I am capable of also looking after multiples dogs at once, truly caring for them, and playing with them. My wife and I will spend our time and efforts to make your dog feel at home. As I have dogs of my own, it will fit like a glove as I will be caring for your dog alongside my own. I will treat your dog like my own. About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! I do work full-time, but a lot of my job can be done from home depending on the amount of notice I have before discussing that with my boss. That being said my weekends are pretty open as well as the occasional monday. I typically work from home every other monday! I love all animals! Growing up I had 2 dogs and then foster failed 2 cats! Those 2 cats currently live with my parents, but I'm bringing them up here when I move into my own place. Both of my roommates also have cats!

About: I have experience with all dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior, with experience giving daily medications in the form of pills, ointments/creams, and injections. I love hanging out with dogs and always follow feeding/walking schedules as requested. I am a PhD student so I work outside the house and won’t be home all day when house sitting so I prefer sitting for dogs that can be left alone for 6-8 hours at a time, but I have a flexible schedule and can sometimes work my schedule around to fit the care of dogs and cats etc with enough notice. I enjoy spending time with animals so I’m always willing to adjust my schedule. I have taken care of pets in their home for extended periods, most commonly over holidays. I’m always respectful of the home and animals, ensuring that I don’t overstep on their territory and I like to leave the home as clean as I found it.

“I don’t think there are enough words to do justice for the amount of appreciation I have for Erin. Erin not only took this booking the day before I needed her due to a last minute cancel by another rover user, she also extended the time we needed her for due to medical emergencies. She went over and beyond for our dogs, especially considering she had to keep them separate the entire time and one of the dogs is not potty trained yet. She even washed the rags we provided her to be able to clean the puppies cage when she went to the bathroom! I think it goes without saying that Erin is an extremely reliable dog sitter, our dogs were very happy when we got home and appear to be kept for very well. She sent us a lot of photos and videos which our son looked forward to seeing everyday, and she kept us up to date on how the dogs were doing! I would highly recommend Erin as a dog sitter, you can tell she really loves animals!”
