About: I grew up with pets (both cats and dogs) and have always loved being around and caring for animals. I worked as an animal care associate at the Humane Society of Chittenden County in Burlington, VT, where I learned safe handling techniques, gained medical knowledge, and cared for a wide variety of breeds and behavioral cases. I have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and smallies of all shapes and sizes and would love to help care for yours. I have a flexible schedule which leaves me plenty of time to walk and play with fur babies. I do have a part time job so I will need to leave occasionally when I am housesitting. I also don't mind commuting to care for an animal. I live in a lovely neighborhood for walking and am also able to drive dogs to nearby parks and hiking trails to play and exercise. I have a cat at home who dislikes other animals so I would only be able to provide care at a client's home.

“Abby, was so great with our Sailor. She has a friendly, confident and warm way with dogs! Sailor loved her right away when they met. I could tell how excellent her caregiving was as he did all his routines great with her-- a walk, bedtime routine, ate his meals, was calm and great when we got home. He is used to us being around and I hadn't left him for an overnight for some years, so it is all the more impressive that he adjusted so quickly to Abby. Also, we loved getting the detailed updates and pictures! We are so happy we were able to have Abby help us for these couple of days and know Sailor will want to have her back! About: I have had a family dogs for years, I have watched my friends dogs for about 2 years now! I have watched a few cats in my time as well! I work from home so being around your pet and taking care of them is easy for me! Having pets near me makes my work day better! I have a fenced in yard and live near a dog park! I myself go on multiple walks a day and love to have a pet keeping me company!
