About: Lucky me to have grown up with my ever-attentive dog, Shirley, an Australian Shepherd mix from the time I was born until I was 14. Then, Cindy - part Chow - came into our family. She was fiery and at grew to become very territorial and protective of our family. I learned how to work with a pup who was loving and sweet to us but dangerous to others. As a young adult, I adopted my perfect grey and white feline with a perfectly pink nose, Merzbow. She was my best friend for 15 years and moved with me from PA to NYC to LA. When I lost her, I was devastated. She was the joy of my life. I am a free-lance artist and performer, so I have lots of flexibility on a weekly basis! I go out of town for work from time to time, but I am usually in Pittsburgh and able to visit pets during all hours. I live in a 3 story home with access to a back patio on the first floor. Pets can either stay on the first floor, where I am usually working in my music studio and have a bed where I can sleep near them, or they can enjoy the rest of the house if they're able to climb stairs or are easily carried! I live in the city and near a park and can take dogs for walks whenever they need one.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. My family has had 3 dogs at a time since then and I have always been responsible for watching them, letting them out, and feeding them. About: Hello there, I am a certified Veterinary technician, I have been in wildlife and small animal care for the past 14 years while dog sitting on the side. I am new to the Pittsburgh area and looking to find new clients! My previous experience includes zookeeping and wildlife rehabilitation in the Boston area for 7 years and then working for a professional dog sitting/hiking company in Medford MA for another 5 years. I moved to Pittsburgh to get my CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician license) in 2024, and now work at a lovely little small animal clinic. I am well versed in animals with complex medication/therapy needs, such as insulin administration and exacting medication timing requirements. I am also very experienced with exotics, particularly birds. I work full time Monday-Friday so I am primarily seeking weekend and holiday pet-sitting arrangements. I am also happy to work in drop in cat care around this type of schedule as well. I cannot currently offer in my own home pet care due to landlord request, but I have been dog/cat/house sitting in clients homes for 14 years and am experienced with maintaining specific pet routines and training schedules. “Sara was perfect. I booked her last minute for the first time and she did an amazing job caring for my dogs, one of which is a senior dog that needs special care. I was very anxious to leave her but Sara was very reassuring and communicated very well. She didn’t miss a beat giving my dog her medications and sent plenty of updates. When I picked my dogs up, I could just tell they were comfortable and had a great stay. Absolutely plan to use Sara again.”

“Raeann was great with my dog! My dog is very anxious so I was hesitant about leaving him. We set up a meet and great prior to my trip and all my hesitations were gone. She kept me updated constantly and sent pics during the course of my trip to keep me updated. She took him for walks, played with him and made a comfortable environment for him. I will definitely use raeann again.”
