About: I cared for my family dog for years, and other dogs in my home neighborhood until I moved out. I get so much joy from being around animals. I have never come across a stray cat that didn't want to be my friend. I don't currently live with any pets which is why I am eager to petsit so I can spend time with some wonderful dogs and cats. About: As someone who is always trying to live vicariously through dog owners, I have been a reliable and eager puppy and cat sitter since I was young - for friends, coworkers, neighbors, and extended family. I have experience and am comfortable feeding and exercising large and small dogs, puppies and seniors. I have always had cats, and have plenty of experience with administering oral medicines and asthma treatment. I am comfortable with cleaning messes, longterm stays, overnights, and honestly whatever else is needed during your time away. I would love to send pictures and updates of your pets as much as you would like them - your pets become main characters in my life within minutes of meeting them! I am your introverted, nurturing childless millennial that treats every animal with endless attention and love. As a speech-language pathologist, I also think that understanding animal communication and respecting boundaries are key. If your pet is showing me they need space, I will listen to them and make sure they are well fed, their needs are met and a soft presence is near. If they are showing me that they need more love and attention, I will stay and give them more love and attention! I can’t wait to meet your furry family. Right now, my schedule is wonderfully flexible. I’m a teacher on summer break and transitioning into a teletherapy position, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets throughout the day. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible, so I make it a priority to learn each pet’s normal schedule, preferences, personality, and needs before their owner leaves. In a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, refresh water, clean litter boxes and outdoor areas as needed, administer medications when required, and make sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they have when you’re home. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. I believe good pet care means respecting boundaries, recognizing needs, and responding appropriately to what an animal is communicating. I also love sending photos and updates, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is always to provide a safe, calm, loving environment and to care for your pets the same way I would hope someone would care for my own.

About: Hello there, I am a certified Veterinary technician, I have been in wildlife and small animal care for the past 14 years while dog sitting on the side. I am new to the Pittsburgh area and looking to find new clients! My previous experience includes zookeeping and wildlife rehabilitation in the Boston area for 7 years and then working for a professional dog sitting/hiking company in Medford MA for another 5 years. I moved to Pittsburgh to get my CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician license) in 2024, and now work at a lovely little small animal clinic. I am well versed in animals with complex medication/therapy needs, such as insulin administration and exacting medication timing requirements. I am also very experienced with exotics, particularly birds. I work full time Monday-Friday so I am primarily seeking weekend and holiday pet-sitting arrangements. I am also happy to work in drop in cat care around this type of schedule as well. I have been dog/cat/house sitting in clients homes for 14 years and am experienced with maintaining specific pet routines and training schedules. I have a leave no trace policy when it comes to other peoples homes. I am also very happy to water plants and manage aquarium care as needed. I also do not drink or party, I just need a sofa and a good book. Because I work with animals and want to keep everyone protected I will require that all animals I watch be on a flea preventative and be rabies vaccinated.

About: I have had dogs all of my life that were all gotten while they were puppies. Have taught so many fun tricks that I can pass to your best friend too. I’m currently available at all hours to take care of your best friend(s). Though I am active my trainings and games usually keep me busy for a maximum of two hours. About: Since I was born, I have had dogs and cats around me. I have delivered cats and dogs when living on a farm, and taken care of them my whole life. I have experience working with dogs and cats of all ages, as well as reactive and rescue animals. Although I do not currently have any pets of my own, I often am the friend who pet sits because of my love for animals. I would love to eventually get my own animal, but I am not currently in the financial situation to provide the life for an animal that it deserves, so this is a fun way for me to be around animals! I work remote, so I have very open flexibility. I am the go-to friend when going out of town and needing someone to care for your baby. I am easily able to work on the go, and can even work from your own home if needed. As well, I am a graduate student, but I only have classes in the evening. Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to visit your pet in their own home, and take them out regularly for walks and bathroom breaks. I am comfortable being in a client's home and taking their dogs around their neighborhoods. Because of my housing situation, I offer boarding services. I have lots of space for big dogs, and my backyard creates a safe space for reactive dogs to get some energy out without other people or dogs around.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 12. From pet sitting for families with cats and/or dogs, walking dogs for many summers, attending to animals when I babysat, and taking care of my own dog, Kurt, I have done it all! I take pride in taking care of animals, and love to spend time with them. Whether that is playing with them, walking them, or just caring for their basic needs. I currently also work a part time job, which gives me free time to take care of your pets most every weekend, and during the day Mondays between 12-5 and after 6, Thursdays after 4, and Fridays between 12-6 I will follow whatever schedule/routine you typically do for your pet in your home!
