“Jordan has been wonderful to work with! I feel so comfortable leaving Finn with her, and he seems to welcome her company. She’s also very responsive and gives detailed summaries. I definitely recommend her!!”

About: My love for dogs is unmatched! I’m a junior in college who absolutely adores dogs and also happens to want to make money for tuition😂 For the summer : *for house sitting, Im available every day but on weekdays I would need to leave from 4:30-7 to go to work. Mon-Thurs: any time up until 3:30pm or after 7pm Fri, Sat, Sun : free all day I am super flexible! During the summer I have a very open schedule - so we can work around it more. Once I start school again I’ll update my availability! I will treat your animals with the care, love, and respect they deserve. Everything I do, I put 110% into, and I’ll make sure your pups feel loved! I always make sure to check if there’s ever notes from the client, get the important things done (like meds, food, necessary walks/bathroom) and then be able to focus on playtime or whatever your pup wants!
“Great communication, punctual, sweet with my dog, productive walks (poop & pee everytime!) and provides good updates ! And helps with last minute bookings when she can. Big fan of Abigayle!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 16 and have years of hands-on experience with pets of all ages and personalities. I have a 1-year-old cat of my own, help care for my boyfriend’s two pitbulls, and my family has two shih tzus, so I’m very comfortable with both small and large breeds. I also regularly pet sit for neighborhood furry friends, and even while attending boarding school in Boston, I cared for local pets there as well. I am committed to your furry family members’ happiness, comfort, and well-being. I provide personalized care tailored to each pet’s unique needs, whether they’re an energetic puppy or a senior pet who needs extra patience and attention. My genuine love for animals and strong attention to detail show in everything I do—from keeping routines consistent to sending regular updates and photos—so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I’m a recent graduate currently working part-time (4-6 hour shifts) while studying for my personal training certification, so I have a flexible schedule with lots of free time. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I can consistently handle feeding, walks, playtime, and cleaning tasks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I take care of feeding, fresh water, walks or litter box cleaning, and playtime based on the owner’s instructions. I also keep the home clean and provide updates so clients know their pet is safe and well cared for.
“Jagger had a nice first walk/stroll with Lara. She communicated well and followed the tips we discussed at the meet and greet. He looks forward to their next walk. Thanks!”

“Thanks so much for walking Turtle! Even in cold weather, Tiffany made sure Turtle got his exercise and bathroom break! Very grateful and will reach out again!”

“Ashley was so thoughtful in making sure we all--Clark included!--felt comfortable with her from the get-go, which I hugely appreciated. She was professional and kind, and when they went on a walk together, Clark came home happy and tired. I couldn't be more thrilled to have found Ashley!”

About: I have grown up caring big and small dogs of neighbors, friends, and family and will always let your dog take the lead when getting to know me. I am a very active person and love being able to give your furry friends their exercise with long walks, playing outside, or even runs! I will diligently follow any instructions/guidelines you set for me and will be sure to send thorough feedback and pictures for each visit. I’m currently working part-time, so my schedule varies a bit throughout the week. I will always be communicative about times I’m available to ensure your pets receive the best care. I consider myself an extremely thorough and reliable person and will follow all guidelines and instructions concerning your pets diligently. Important aspects of care, like diet, medication, and more will be followed accurately to ensure the health and safety of your pet.
About: I have taken care of animals in my hometown area since I was 10 and am very happy when interacting with pets. I started by walking dogs and eventually started taking care of pets overnight. I am taking college classes, so I have free time when I am not in class. Every day I have a break big enough between classes that would allow me to care for a pet. I am happy to learn how to care for a pet in its own home and to hear about the pet's preferences and needs in their home.

About: I’ve cared for animals for years, including my own pets and those of friends and family. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I understand how important routine and consistency are, and I always aim to provide dependable, attentive care. I’m available for the weekends and some week nights! I’m available for boarding and walks to make sure your dog is very comfortable! I live in a clean, spacious apartment with easy access to outdoor areas for walks and bathroom breaks. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I prioritize regular walks and supervised outdoor time to keep pets active and comfortable. I maintain a calm, safe environment and always follow each pet’s routine and any specific instructions closely!
“Kassandra did a wonderful job taking care of my dog for the weekend. She sent multiple updates and pictures over the time spent with him. She shows a lot of care and attention!”

About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.
About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! I do work full-time, but a lot of my job can be done from home depending on the amount of notice I have before discussing that with my boss. That being said my weekends are pretty open as well as the occasional monday. I typically work from home every other monday! I love all animals! Growing up I had 2 dogs and then foster failed 2 cats! Those 2 cats currently live with my parents, but I'm bringing them up here when I move into my own place. Both of my roommates also have cats!
About: I have had the pleasure of working as a pet care attendant for two separate boarding facilities over the course of 6 years! I also have a few years of experience working as a vet tech assistant! I have lots of experience with animals with different medical needs and have had dogs all my life! I currently am working short part time shifts only a few times a week. Other than that I am available to walk, feed, and play with any pets that need it! I have no other animals in my home, and live near plenty of green space as well as some dog parks for walks and play time!
“Denyal sent me updates and was very patient with my dogs. This was our first time using a dog-walking service and one of my dogs was a bit nervous to meet someone new, but Denyal got him to warm up to her and have fun on his walk! Highly recommend!”

Arlington Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Claire was great with our shy dog, Mimi. She has a really warm, friendly energy, which helped Mimi feel more comfortable and confident with her. Claire showed up right on time, followed our instructions closely, and was especially attentive to the notes we left about bunnies in the neighborhood since Mimi loves to chase. We really appreciated how prepared and careful she was. We were so happy she could help us with Mimi’s walks for two days, and we’d absolutely book with her again. All the stars! Highly recommend!

Michaela is very professional and great at communicating. She was in touch promptly and very accommodating. She took such good care of Crispy. She’s willing to do extra long walks which my puppy needs. She’s a natural with dogs as well and very gentle and affectionate. Crispy and I can’t wait to book her again!
