Although I can’t host pets at my place, I’m more than happy to care for your furry friend in the comfort of your home. I always make it a priority to follow your specific instructions to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. With plenty of experience sitting for both dogs and cats in the area – including overnight stays – I’m dedicated to making your pet feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Since I’m currently working remotely, I have the flexibility to stay for longer periods at your place, as long as there’s WIFI access and a comfortable spot to use my laptop. When sitting for dogs, I usually take them for three walks a day – morning, afternoon, and evening – but I’m happy to adjust to your dog's specific routine to make sure they feel comfortable and content.

When walking your dog, I like to stay in familiar areas. This sometimes means I mimic the same route you take with your dog. A new person in a new place can be overwhelming, and I want to keep the stress levels down until your dog and I get to know each other better. Once we're better acquainted, the walks can branch out to local trails and different neighborhoods. I love taking dogs out for walks, letting them explore all the new smells and the hustle and bustle of the streets. It’s always a joy to see their curiosity in action! At home, I make sure to keep them entertained by playing their favorite games – whether it’s a game of fetch with their preferred toy or a bit of playful chasing around the living room.

I was able to enjoy an extended vacation knowing that my cats and home were in good hands with Akira. The cats were immediately drawn to him when he came for a pre-visit and I could tell they were content when I returrned home. I appreciate that Akira provided regular updates and also took care of watering plants, bringing in mail, taking out the trash, etc. i will hire Akira again if he's available the next time I travel.
