About: I’ve taken care of dogs, both drop in and overnight visits, for two years now. I’ve dealt with small and large dogs and know how to handle them. I’ve grown up with multiple dogs in one house and know the different needs each dog requires! I am currently on break for summer from college so I am available anytime throughout the week and weekends. If you are booking day of please be aware I may have other arrangements but for the most part I should be free. Any rules and information I need are required before I enter the home. And for non emergency appointments a meeting with the dog and you present is preferred.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for family and friends since I was young. Growing up with a dog, cats, and chickens, I have lots of pet experience! During the beginning of COVID, I got a puppy with my sister and was the main care taker and trainer for several years. I am excited to love your pets just as much as you do! I am a Pitt post-grad, currently working as a fitness instructor. I coach average 2-5 classes per day, so have a relatively flexible schedule throughout the day. My dog at home is a bit of a tricky walker, and wasn’t very good with other dogs when he was younger, so I have lots of experience and can adapt to a dogs walking style and needs.

“Krista was great. Zoe immediately loved her and Coby didn’t mind the wake up call from the couch to meet his new friend. Dogs were walked, fed, and given treats as requested. Proper leash, walking perimeter followed, house locked, and key promptly returned. We even received a picture of the walk. I am free on Tuesdays & Thursdays for drop ins/walks, and on weekends for housesitting. I’m happy to help with any household needs specified during housesitting! About: I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I started taking care of pets for family friends about five years ago when I was living in Boston, and since then I’ve gained experience with dogs at different stages of their lives. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while staying with me. I understand how important it is for pet parents to know their dog is in good hands, so I always do my best to provide attentive and thoughtful care. I usually work best with calm dogs who are comfortable relaxing on their own. For boarding, dogs should be able to stay home alone for a few hours and should not have severe separation anxiety. I’m more experienced with smaller dogs (under 25 lbs) and enjoy spending time walking, playing, and making sure they feel at home. To ensure I can continue providing the highest standard of care to my clients, I have made the decision to limit my service to take care of one dog at a time I make sure I understand the needs from pet parents. Initially, I would ask pet parent to answer a list of questions I found helpful to know. For example, what’s the daily walking/sleeping/exercise/wasting routine. I will also take pictures/videos through out the day, and send them daily to keep parents updated through the boarding period.

For drop in visits, I follow your instructions closely including feeding, fresh water, medications, potty breaks, litter boxes, and plenty of attention and play. I always double check doors, gates, and locks before I leave. For house sitting, I keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible in their own familiar space, keep your home secure and tidy, and treat it with the same care I give my own. Throughout every service, I send photos and updates so you always know your pet is safe and comfortable, and I reach out quickly if anything ever seems off.
