About: I've been trusted to take care of others' pets and children since I was 12 years old. As a reliable, positive, and calm pet sitter, I will ensure your pet gets the love, care, and attention they deserve! I'm new to the area, but prior to moving, I was regularly asked to pet/house sit via word of mouth recommendations and repeat clients. Between my own dogs and cats and those I've sat for, I have experience with a variety of ages, from 8 weeks old to elderly, as well as a variety of breeds, needs, and social levels. I especially love working with puppies despite the amount of work they are; a simple repetitive routine of potty, eat, potty, play/train, potty, crate, makes a world of difference (trust me - I've learned the hard way). If you're a new puppy parent, I'd be thrilled to be a part of your pup's development! Growing up, I experienced the amazing love of three dogs and two cats (plus one hamster and countless fish) in my household. Now, as an adult, I'm a very proud dog mom to our almost-3-year-old Australian Shepherd named Ekko (short for Ekko-location Sly Rover Fantastic Bruce). We adopted him at 12 weeks old from an accidental litter, and he's added such joy and fulfillment to our lives. He might be my biggest pet resume boost. He is a wicked smart, high energy dude who requires a lot of structure and attention to thrive, and I wouldn't have it any other way. He gets daily training, puzzles, walks, crate time, scratches, and snuggles. As a full-time grad student with extra time on my hands, I would love to put that same amount of energy towards your furry friends - and if Ekko gets to benefit too by making a new friend, well that'd be the cherry on top! I'm a full-time grad student with a few evening classes a week. Outside of that, my schedule is flexible, and I'm available to care for your pet any time. I want your pet to feel calm and confident no matter where I'm caring for them. I'm always respectful of your pets routines and personality. Some pets are nonstop goofballs and some are shy and sleepy, so I give them as much space or play time as they'd like! With every service I provide, I would never make assumptions about your pet without your approval, from foods they can eat to places they can go. Trusting someone else with your pet is a big deal, and it can be nerve-wracking for your pet too! To ensure I'm a good fit for you and your pet, and in order to provide the best care possible, I will request a Meet and Greet before beginning service. About: Hi my name is Julia, I am 25 years old living in Pittsburgh, PA. For all 25 years I have lived, I have been surrounded by animals. I grew up with three dogs, who I care for deeply. We also had a neighborhood cat who I really consider a part of the family! I have spent countless time caring for the pets of family members, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and even my hairdresser! About: I am a non profit professional with a fully remote work form home job who is passionate about animals. I have been caring for pets professionally for over 5 years (mainly dogs and cats). My profession requires working with children in schools so I maintain state certifications and background checks. So rest assured your home and animals will be safe with me, in addition to having quality time together. I have my own dog, Richard and he’s my best friend. He’s a 10 year old golden retriever lab rescue mix who loves to sleep, go on walks and play with other dogs. If you’re interested in pet sitting with me, he’s always down to meet other dog friends (with a meet and greet visit prior to make sure it’s a good fit, of course). The care and wellbeing of your pets is my number one priority, which my reviews and testimonials can attest to! I live in close proximity to many dog parks and walking paths. I understand how stressful being away from your pets can be, so I ensure to provide a photo and text update every time I see your animal. About: I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who truly enjoys spending time with dogs. I started taking care of pets for family friends about five years ago when I was living in Boston, and since then I’ve gained experience with dogs at different stages of their lives. My goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while staying with me. I understand how important it is for pet parents to know their dog is in good hands, so I always do my best to provide attentive and thoughtful care. I usually work best with calm dogs who are comfortable relaxing on their own. For boarding, dogs should be able to stay home alone for a few hours and should not have severe separation anxiety. I will also take pictures/videos through out the day, and send them daily to keep parents updated through the boarding period.

I have experience walking dogs of all sizes in urban and suburban areas as well as experience with puppies and potty training. About: I’ve had pets my entire life, ranging from dogs and cats to horses and pigs. I have trained two family puppies. I’ve done cat rescue for about 8 years, and I also have my own cat, minerva :) I now work at a hospital, and would love to care for animals in my free time. Pet care fits into my daily routine as a cat owner, as I ensure she always has food and water. We also cuddle everyday, and have lots of playtime. Several times a week, I clean her litter box so that it’s never too dirty. In my own home and any others, I like to spend a lot of quality time with the pets present. When I’m home, my cat Minerva is glued to my side most of the time. When I visit my parents, I still get to see my dogs from home that I helped raise and train. I’m also working on harness training my cat.
