“Linnea did an excellent job checking in on our young pup while away on vacation. She kept us updated with lots of photos, and even began some training. We will definitely use her again on future bookings and would strongly recommend her to other folks!”

“Chloe has been incredibly reliable, helpful, and excellent at communicating! I'm so grateful that she's been available to walk our dog Ace while my partner and I are away at work. Ace absolutely loves Chloe, and we love that he gets great walks and attention when we're away!”

About: I've been a trusted pet sitter, dog walker, and house sitter in my Massachusetts hometown for over five years, building lasting relationships with both pets and their people. This past summer alone, I spent nearly every week caring for dogs, cats, birds—even a couple of lizards! I treat every animal like they’re my own, taking the time to understand their routines, personalities, and quirks. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs long walks or a shy cat who just wants quiet company, I adjust to their needs with patience and love. What truly sets me apart is the genuine care I bring to every job. I’m not just doing this for extra money—I love animals, and it shows. I bring consistency, communication, and warmth, so you can feel totally confident your pets (and home!) are in great hands. I know how much trust it takes to leave your beloved companions with someone—and I never take that for granted. As a college student at the University of Pittsburgh, my weekday schedule can be a bit busy, but I make pet care a top priority! I’m typically available: Tuesdays after 2:15 PM Wednesdays after 1:00 PM Thursdays after 2:15 PM Fridays after 1:00 PM Weekends: Fully available all day Saturday and Sunday I’m based near the University of Pittsburgh campus and primarily looking to stay in that area, but I’m happy to travel a bit further for the right fit. I’m all about being dependable and working with your needs — just reach out and we can make it work! When I care for pets in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, loved, and completely comfortable in their routine. I treat your pets and your space with the utmost respect and care, just like I would with my own. I have experience with a wide range of animals—dogs of all sizes, from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle giants like Great Danes, as well as cats, birds, and even reptiles. I’m confident on walks and always in control, but I also know when patience and gentleness are key, especially with pets that may be shy, anxious, or energetic. I pride myself on adapting to each animal’s personality and needs. As a proud cat mom of three (including one who needs a little extra love and attention), I also understand the unique quirks and care routines cats often require. I’ll keep things tidy, stick to your pet’s routine, and send regular updates so you always know how things are going. I genuinely love what I do, and I work hard to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away.
About: I am a young professional violinist based in Pittsburgh, and I have spent many breaks home from school dog-sitting around my neighborhood. Whether it‘s walks or giving pets, being around animals brings me so much joy and I would love to keep dog-sitting while I build my career as a musician. As a gigging musician I have a flexible schedule based around performances, lessons, and auditions. My schedule can vary week to week but I am almost always squeeze in walks and drop-ins according to my daily availability. My experience with sitting has included home-stays, dropping in multiple times a day, and just going for walks; I am comfortable with all of these options and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with dogs!
“Took great care of our dog on walks and played with her indoors when walks had to be cut short due to extremely cold weather - very responsive and would book again!”

“Ashley is absolutely incredible! She brings her own poop bags and treats and is very attentive to Finn’s needs. She sends me picture and video updates which soothes my separation anxiety! I am going to continue to use her services, as Finn already is attached to her.”

About: I am energetic, responsible, and grew up in a house with dogs and around lots of friends with cats. I have been feeding, walking, playing with, and crating dogs since I was a kid and currently live with a cat. I work 9/10am-4/5pm and am available week nights from 6-10pm and weekends. I work for a seasonal team so the winter months/holiday season will likely be even less hours and more availability. I am very attentive to pets in my home. I currently live with a cat and support feeding, litter box scooping, and overall cleaning of cat hair, etc.
“Shannon is an absolute gem! As a newer dog owner and a very new member of Rover it’s been so lovely to have someone take the time to explain everything. I’m a fairly anxious dog parent lol and Shannon has reassured me at every step of the process. 10/10 would recommend!!!”

“Nellie has been an amazing weekly dog walker for my dog, Rocky. She’s incredibly reliable and always communicates ahead of time if she needs to adjust his walk schedule, which I really appreciate. I always feel confident that Rocky is in great hands with her. I highly recommend Nellie to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring walker!”

About: Since moving to Pittsburgh, pet-sitting has become a meaningful part of my life. Alongside my wife, I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for the past three years, and it’s truly been the perfect way to fill the gap left by being away from my own dog. I genuinely cherish the companionship they bring and always make it a priority to ensure they feel comfortable and loved. You can count on me to treat your furry friend with the same care and attention I would give my own – keeping them safe, happy, and well looked after while you’re away. Whether it’s a tiny purebred dog or a large, energetic mixed breed, I do my best to keep them entertained and maintain a joyful routine tailored to their needs. I am available for walking dogs and drop-in visits in the mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. I am also available to sit on weekends and most weekdays. Send me a message, and I will do my best to help you. Although I can’t host pets at my place, I’m more than happy to care for your furry friend in the comfort of your home. I always make it a priority to follow your specific instructions to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. With plenty of experience sitting for both dogs and cats in the area – including overnight stays – I’m dedicated to making your pet feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. Since I’m currently working remotely, I have the flexibility to stay for longer periods at your place, as long as there’s WIFI access and a comfortable spot to use my laptop. When sitting for dogs, I usually take them for three walks a day – morning, afternoon, and evening – but I’m happy to adjust to your dog's specific routine to make sure they feel comfortable and content.
About: I have dog sat and walked dogs since high school, taking care of my friends’ pets whenever they traveled. I learned how to navigate administering medications to nervous pets and help pets get accustomed to new environments. I also have a cat that I rescued from the street and learned a lot about patience, trust, and resilience. I am a resident doctor, so my schedule varies from month to month. However, I also prioritize fitness and try to get at least 10k steps daily. So I’m hoping to have a furry friend join me on my walks. I have a friendly, cuddly cat that is an indoor cat. He loves to eat, play, and sleep all day. He follows me around all day and is very polite.
“Working with Jordan was great and highly recommend her. It was great to know my pup was in good hands and good company. I look forward to working with her in the future!”
