About: I am a non profit professional with a fully remote work form home job who is passionate about animals. I have been caring for pets professionally for over 5 years (mainly dogs and cats). My profession requires working with children in schools so I maintain state certifications and background checks. So rest assured your home and animals will be safe with me, in addition to having quality time together. I have my own dog, Richard and he’s my best friend. He’s a 10 year old golden retriever lab rescue mix who loves to sleep, go on walks and play with other dogs. If you’re interested in pet sitting with me, he’s always down to meet other dog friends (with a meet and greet visit prior to make sure it’s a good fit, of course). The care and wellbeing of your pets is my number one priority, which my reviews and testimonials can attest to! I live in close proximity to many dog parks and walking paths. I understand how stressful being away from your pets can be, so I ensure to provide a photo and text update every time I see your animal. Having a remote job allows me the flexibility to be with your furry friend as long as need be to put you both at ease! I currently have a remote, work from home job from 8-4PM. This gives me the flexibility to do multiple check ins, lots of walks or snuggles or all of the above to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable. I live close to many dog parks and love to play with animals. I care for your pet like they were my own and love to make them feel comfortable and like they’re on their own doggy vacation!

Over the years, I have cared for dog of all shapes, sizes, ages and needs through my own ownership and my time working at an animal shelter. From a 7 pound Pomeranian that required regular medication administration, to a 165 pound Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, to the many dogs that would come through the shelter to be adopted. I work full time Monday through Friday, but I have a very flexible schedule and can work remotely as needed as long as advance notice is given. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow your routines closely to keep things familiar and stress-free. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, energy level, and boundaries so they always feel secure with me. For walks, I use secure leashes, stay aware of surroundings, and avoid unsafe areas or interactions with unknown dogs. I’m patient, calm, and confident handling different temperaments. I’m respectful of your space, tidy, and always double-check locks, gates, and doors. You can expect clear communication, quick responses, and lots of photo updates for peace of mind.

About: I’ve been working with a variety of dogs of all different breeds for roughly 6 years via dog walking, dog sitting, etc! I love dogs of all kinds! I’m a doctoral student of occupational therapy, so most of my time is spent working via fieldwork and doing homework. I am free on Tuesdays & Thursdays for drop ins/walks, and on weekends for housesitting. I’m happy to help with any household needs specified during housesitting! Please leave me comprehensive instructions for caring for your pet(s), including meal details/times, walking schedule, etc.

About: I grew up with a reactive black lab, so I know how to handle leash pulling and how to deescalate and prevent fights. In her old age, I learned to accommodate her failing joints. I’ve been trained at the Licking County Humane Society in Ohio as a volunteer dog walker, which has well equipped me to understand and respond respectfully to dog language. I further pursue this knowledge by reading about how dogs communicate with us, and by observing and analyzing their behavior both in real life and online. This will be my primary commitment, so I can easily cater to your schedule to fit your pets needs. Mornings, evenings, weekends, whatever you need, except Thursdays :) I will take great care to follow your instructions and respect the rules of your home and needs of your animal(s). I cannot accept boarding in my own home at the moment.
