About: I’ve taken care of dogs, both drop in and overnight visits, for two years now. I’ve dealt with small and large dogs and know how to handle them. I’ve grown up with multiple dogs in one house and know the different needs each dog requires! I am currently on break for summer from college so I am available anytime throughout the week and weekends. If you are booking day of please be aware I may have other arrangements but for the most part I should be free. Any rules and information I need are required before I enter the home. And for non emergency appointments a meeting with the dog and you present is preferred.

About: Hi my name is Julia, I am 25 years old living in Pittsburgh, PA. For all 25 years I have lived, I have been surrounded by animals. I grew up with three dogs, who I care for deeply. We also had a neighborhood cat who I really consider a part of the family! I have spent countless time caring for the pets of family members, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and even my hairdresser! I can confidently say that I have formed great bonds and a sense of trust with all pets I have watched! This care ranges from cats to dogs, senior to puppies (currently). I truly love animals and constantly want to be surrounded by them. Being a 25 year old in a city away from your family and pets can be tough, so I hope that this opportunity can help me while I await having my own cat one day (hopefully soon!) I currently work full-time, but I work primarily from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I typically go into the office just one day per week, and if I need to be there more often, it's usually only for a half day. My schedule can vary depending on work needs, but I have the flexibility to accommodate pet care throughout the day and will always communicate my availability clearly. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I take the time to follow your instructions closely and keep their schedule as consistent as possible. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, fresh water, meals, and lots of love. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure during walks and outdoor time, and I always prioritize a safe, stress-free environment. I also believe communication is key. I'll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for family and friends since I was young. Growing up with a dog, cats, and chickens, I have lots of pet experience! During the beginning of COVID, I got a puppy with my sister and was the main care taker and trainer for several years. I am excited to love your pets just as much as you do! I am a Pitt post-grad, currently working as a fitness instructor. I coach average 2-5 classes per day, so have a relatively flexible schedule throughout the day. My dog at home is a bit of a tricky walker, and wasn’t very good with other dogs when he was younger, so I have lots of experience and can adapt to a dogs walking style and needs.

About: I’ve been working with a variety of dogs of all different breeds for roughly 6 years via dog walking, dog sitting, etc! I love dogs of all kinds! I’m a doctoral student of occupational therapy, so most of my time is spent working via fieldwork and doing homework. I am free on Tuesdays & Thursdays for drop ins/walks, and on weekends for housesitting. I’m happy to help with any household needs specified during housesitting! Please leave me comprehensive instructions for caring for your pet(s), including meal details/times, walking schedule, etc.

About: I had a dog for 13 years and he was my best friend before he passed. It heals me to be around other dogs and care for them because they are our family. I ensured he was well cared for, loved, and catered to anything he needed. I am diligent with following tasks, time management, and have a genuine love for dogs. Whatever instructions are given, they will be followed. I will go above and beyond to ensure your fur baby is well cared for. I will also give daily updates if needed. I am currently a full-time graduate student, but my class schedule is consistent each week. I work online on the side as well, but that job is pretty flexible. If anything changes throughout the semester, I will update my schedule. Also, I’m in my last semester, so my availability will become more open after December 2026. If specific directions are left for your pet, I will go above and beyond to follow those instructions. Let me know how I can best accommodate you and your pet.

“Krista was great. Zoe immediately loved her and Coby didn’t mind the wake up call from the couch to meet his new friend. Dogs were walked, fed, and given treats as requested. Proper leash, walking perimeter followed, house locked, and key promptly returned. We even received a picture of the walk. Neither dog expressed any separation anxiety while their humans were on a day trip. I was super happy and will call on Krista in the future. Dogs give her 5 woofs!”
